Brilliant! I and a friend went here last month and had a most enjoyable evening. The food was absolutely delicious. We had pate for starters and fillet steak cooked to perfection for our main course and chocolate orange for desert all for 25 euro, The atmosphere was great. We will be back next time we are in Dublin

Tree Top
Over Laurels Pub, Main Street, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin

BEWARE! we were overcharged and had to argue with them to try and get our food at the menu price. We were charged 4.20 for 2 fried eggs and a portion of chips and a WHOPPING 13.50 for a 3 egg omelette and chips. A Cajun chicken burger on the menu for 11.50 - we were charged 12.95. It was very embarrassing. seemed whoever was doing the cooking was making up prices for the eggs BUT 5.30 for 1 egg is a rip off. I eventually got 2 euro back and got the Cajun burger for the correct price We will never be back

6 of us went here for a birthday meal, The atmosphere was buzzing, The food delicious and varied . some ordered a la carte, others from Pre theatre menu and from their extensive Vegetarian menu, We had a young child with us and the staff were excellent with her, The steaks were succulent and cooked to perfection and went down well with a Stonewalker Shiraz, There was a large que outside waiting to dine and I am delighted to say there was no pressure put om anybody to finish, A great night and affordable

Had lunch here last Thursday with my sister and son .It was after 2pm so it was very quiet,. We chose to hsve 2 starters each French Onion Soup - new receipe - not quite as delicious as usual. Then both my sister and I had the pate, which was absolutely delicious, My son had the ham hock with black pudding which was mouth watering. A rich chocolate orange mouse amd black forrest trifle followed and I finished with coffee and the lightest buttery shortbread biscuits, The service was excellent. The lunch menu is varied and the food is consistantly very good. Great Value AND TO TOP IT ALL we were not charged for the soup because we werent 100% happy with it. Definitley in my top 3 restaurants for lunch

O'Connells Restaurant Donnybrook
135 Morehampton Road, Donnybrook, D04 HX46, Donnybrook, Dublin

Three friends dined her and we all decided on the Organic Chicken, which was delicious. It was accompanied by stuffing bread sauce and cranberry sauce. Carved and plated at the table with the addition of Potatoes au Gratin and pureed carrots. It was to die for. We were so full we finished with a coffee each

very good food but unfortunately one very rude and arrogant waiter, which upset not only our party but other guests who were dining that night. We will never return
