I went here on saturday night with the better half and I have to say that it was genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had. All of our courses were delictable and beautifully presented, the staff were attentive and lovely and the decor was breathtaking. We took advantage of the 3 courses for €25 offer which had alot of choice on it; about six starters includings two daily specials, four mains and four deserts. Some of the dishes were quite adventurous but well worth trying as the way that the flavors in the dishes worked together was extraordinary. The nicest meal I have ever had in the nicest restaurant I have ever been in. Perfect for a special occasion. Absolutely loved it, can't wait to go back!

Went here on saturday night to grab a post cinema bit. Menu was full of American Diner style food and was quite impressive. Got a variety of things off the menu including the new york supreme and a few different types of fries. The food wasa fine, nothing exceptional and somewhat expensive for what it was €4.10 for garlic cheese fries which werent the tastiest. Probably won't go back again.

Hungry Bear
U9 Tuansgate Development, Belgard Square, Tallaght, Dublin

Went here for lunch with some friends on Friday. To be honest I was not overly impressed. The food was basic and decent but overpriced. I paid 5 quid for a plain ham sandwich. In saying that though, I have to admit that the fresh bread was amazingly fresh and tasty. The atmosphere left much to be desired and I felt like I was in a freezing cold school canteen. The staff were friendly and were very helpful. Might possibly go here again in the future.

Pizza Hut (Liffey Valley)
Liffey Valley Centre 22 Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

Decided to go in here before the cinema for grub because their special offer seemed excellent. 2 courses for €12.50 and Im a huge fan of special offers. Assumed that the choice would be very limited. This was in fact not the case at all. We were told we could choose any individual starter and any pizza or pasta for mains. their was a huge amount of choice and in the end the pasta won my heart. Food was really good, a bit heavy handed on the cheese but delicious none the less. Service was fast which suited us perfectly as we didnt have a huge amount of time to spare before the cinema. atmosphere was what you would expect of pizza hut. Overall, alot nice than I expected a good place to bring the kids or for a quick bite before the cinema!

Tenors Grill Room (Naas)
Fairgreen Street, Naas, Kildare

Popped in here with a few of the girls out of work for a bite to eat at lunch time and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and really good value. Staff were very friendly and attentive despite the place being very busy. Got main and dessert for €15, which I though was excellent value. Whilst the food was nothing special, it was extremely tasty, hearty food which definitely filled the spot. Couldn't find anything to complain about; does exavtly what it says on the tin. Good food at cheap prices!

Dante (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Went here last Friday with a friend. we opted for the 2 courses for 12.50 deal. The food was absolutely delicious! I was really impressed that they did most pasta's wheat free and thought that this was brilliant! We got the bottle of house red for 8.95 extra and it was well worth it! Service was a bit slow but this was because we ordered wheat free pasta which was cooked fresh. Staff were also lovely! Really great value and food, would definitely recommend here!

TGI Friday (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Popped in here for some eats between rounds of shopping. Was relatively quiet. Got the 2 courses for €15 menu and the food was delicious. Gigantic portions and really tasty. Service was a bit lacking - despite the fact that it was quiet we waited about 20 minutes to be served and then a further 20 minutes for each of our courses. Despite that it was really nice food, great value and definitely hit the spot.

China Buffet King
Cinema Building, Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin

Decided to give this place a try after being recommended by several friends. It really didnt dissapoint. There was a huge selection of food, both vegetarian and meat. There was also a salad bar for those who wanted to have something a little lighter. The selection of deserts was fantastic, chocolate cakes, jellies, ice cream etc. I will definitely be attending here again as it was simply great value for money. The additional 10% student discount was an added bonus!

Imperial Chinese
12A Wicklow Street, City Centre South, Dublin

After throughly enjoying an evening spent in the theatre watchign the importance of being earnest. We decided to go for a spot of dinner in the Imperial. We opted for the special offer menu as there seemed to be alot of choice. Unfortunately the food was not up scratch. For starters we got the satay chicken on skewers and the BBQ ribs, both of which were overcooked. The sauces were disgusting and the BBQ sauce tasted simply like vinegar. Our main courses were much of the same, the duck was rancid and the chicken curry was bland and average. For desert we had the fresh fruit salad and cheesecake, neither of which were particularly spectacular. The service was fine, staff were cold but not completely unfriendly. Food was thrown at us on teh table and the staff spilt the bbq sauce on starter all over my dress. The atmosphere left a huge amount to be desired, drunken people screaming at the waitress when she denied them entry was not exactly what I would call a pleasant ambiance. At nearly €50 for two people including service charge this certainly wasnt one of the cheapest meals out we could have had. I left hungry and dissatisfied, vowing never to attend again.
