Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)

Very disappointed with the service and ambient of the restaurant. Waiting too long for food and we were the first table to arrive for lunch service. Would not return here.

Fade Street Social - The Restaurant
Drury Street , City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely open spaced restaurant with clear view of the open kitchen. food and service was excellent. After we went to the cocktail bar and the whiskey base cocktails were exceptional. Will go back again.

A+ place to relaz and enjoy the night with friends, atmosphere was positive and cheerful. Service was slow due to the place buzzing with guest but we would highly recommand coming here.

YO Sushi Clarendon St
Brown Thomas, Clarendon St, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

10 out of 10 overall! This place is great for a quick, guaranteed fresh and healthy. They have a 10E special for 3 plates and unlimited yummy Miso Soup.

KC Peaches Cafe & Delicatessen (Nassau Street)
28/29 Nassau Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

My First time here and I regret not discovering this place sooner! I had the Ranelagh Roaster salad for lunch and it came in a massive bowl and tasted wonderful, bursting with flavors. This place is heaven with vegetarians and the price is very good for quality food, Cant wait to try the wine bar for dinner!

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

What a wonderful dining experience. My partner and I had the 25E sharing menu and we have to say the food was top class quality bursting with flavours in each bite we had. The Rustic selection of organic breads with cumin scented hummus and baba ganoush bound with walnut oil was a delightful surprise that came with the menu. We would HIGHLY RECOMMAND “ON THE STONE TO SHARE FOR 2” and also skipping lunch for dinner.

Paddy Jordan's
Station Road, Ballina, Mayo

After a long drive from Trim, we stopped here for dinner and the Hospitality was very good. The Staff where very helpful and food service was quick. Ambience made us want to stay there for the night. The menu surprisingly had a mix of Indian and Irish cuisine.

Boulevard Cafe

First time at The Boulevard Cafe with work group. On arrival the staff were very friendly. Food was represented nicely and great value for money. The setting was very refreshing giving a sense of being in France.

The Upper Deck duplicate
Harbour Road, Above the Waterside Pub, Howth, Dublin

Perhaps I shouldn't have come back so soon. Food was great again I love the Chicken Wings, Sizzling Fajitas were a winner for my partner, although my ChimiChanga was by no means hot, it was warm. Service was poor tonight I had to ask for the mains to be brought out and our starters plates were only collected at that time. After the experience the last time we decided to have the dessert again. After waiting again for a long period we cancelled and asked for the bill and left with 3 staff between themselves at the counter chatting. It was by no means busy at this time and there were 4 floor staff on duty. Pity.

The Counter Suffolk Street
20 Suffolk Street, City Centre South, Dublin

We went to the Counter restaurant before in Dundrum and the experience was good so we expected the same at the Suffolk Street location. There was a meal deal on, any signature burger with fries and drink for 10E, not bad at all except we didnt great after the food and it was tasteless for a burger and the sweet potato fries were cooked dried to the bone.

Taste of Brazil
32 Parliament St, Temple bar, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

I brought the menupages voucher for the Taste of Brazil after reading a great review on trip advisor. Unfortunately we were disappointed as the reviews we read were did not reflect the restaurant. The food was just ok, seafood risotto was too salty and the chicken my partner ordered was drowned in cheese. But the flan was wonderful. Overall restaurant setting was like a take away.

The Exchange Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
The Westin Dublin, At College Green, Westmoreland Street, City Centre South, Dublin

First time here with my partner celebrating our anniversary. I have to admit the restaurant makes the evening extra special with the quality of service and excellent music. The food was excellent and portions was perfect, the house wine was very tasty and price was very good for what you get. We went up to the hotel bar after for a digestive and it was one of the nicest bars in Dublin, the decor made the ambience very relaxing and a feeling of being outside. Highly recommand this place and ill definitely be back again and again.

The Bistro at Ella
7 Main Street, Howth, Howth, Dublin

The welcome at Ella's was friendly and the service was very good. The menu has a variety of choices. My partner ordered the pork and I ordered the king scallops, nice portion size but not cooked to my liking. Overall its an ok place.

Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

WE'D rather do to a chipper before setting foot here again. Myself and my Partner are extremely disapointed in the service and food here. We booked a table for 8pm and was seated quickly. Upon placing our food order, we waited 1 hour for our starters, waiters tried hard to avoid us when we asked for them...RIDICULOUS at this stage and it pretty much ruined dinner, we were close to cancelling and leaving all together.

King Sitric Fish Restaurant
East Pier, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

1st time dining at the King Sitric Fish Restaurant and its reviews exceeded our expectations. We went for the set menu for 35E and a bottle of house wine, all the dishes were flawless in taste and portions. Highly recommand this Restaurant.

The Counter Dundrum
Pembroke District, (adjacent to the Mill Pond at Town Square), Dundrum, Dublin

First time eating at the counter. Surroundings has a very americian style diner twist. They have a large variety of creating your own burger. Good value for money, I would recommand this place over Eddie Rockets.

Cafe Mexicana
Careys Lane, Cork City, Cork

First time in Cork with my partner and passing Cafe Mexicana, their early bird caught our eye, great value 3 course meal with a glass of Sangria for 21E. Love the ambiance of this place, very cosy. Myself and partner were seated by the window, waiter provided, lunch, early bird and a la carte menu. When ready to take our order we read from the early bird menu but there was a confusion, the waitress stated that they don’t serve the early bird menu and preferred to serve the lunch. Her reaction was very unwelcoming. Food was ok, not great.

Odessa

We had a Christmas lunch party here and the food was very tasty, service was great also. It was abit expensive for what its worth though.

The Bloody Stream Restaurant
Under Howth Dart Station, North Dublin, Howth, Dublin

The Bloody Stream now do a steak special, 10oz Steak with onion rings & fries with pepper sauce for 10 Euro. And the steak is always cooked perfect to my liking. We now go for steak mondays.

Okra Green Howth
1 Island View, Harbour Road, Dublin 13, Howth, Dublin

Myself and partner's first time having dinner at Okra, we had the 3 course early bird at very good value. The food was very tasty and full of flavour. The staff were extremely polite and service was excellent. Highly Recommend Okra.

Octopussy Seafood Tapas
7 West Pier, Dublin 13, Howth, Dublin

I heard a lot of this place and its famous Tapas but I wouldn’t recommend this place especially with the nearby restaurants with better customer service and good food for better value for money. Myself and partner had the seafood platter and Brie with 2 glasses of wine. The sitting area is very easy going with shared tables but very tight in space. We seat on the stools by the window with a nice view of the harbour. The food was average, maybe we were expected more from the reviews we read. I accidently knocked over my glass of wine after taking just a sip, the waiter quickly cleared it up, we assumed it happens a lot due to the lack of table space and was never offered another glass of wine, the waiter didn’t even asked if we wanted another and we were charged for it which we found unfair.

Dandelion
St. Stephen's Green, St Stephens Green, Dublin

Very nice bar with 5E coctails from mondays to fridays. The restaurant area is ok, the setting is simple. The menu never changes but has a good selection. Very good portion sides and the 2 for 1 dinner offer is a great deal. Would go here regularly for a good value for money meal before shopping.

The House
4 Main Street, West Dublin, Howth, Dublin

On entrance coming into the front door of the house didn’t feel very welcoming but in the restaurant itself was very cosy with low light settings and very Wednesday there’s a jazz band which adds to the atmosphere. The Early Bird between 6-7pm is very reasonable in price and the menu had a wide variety of dishes that suits all. I ordered the smoked fish dish for starters and the grilled venison for the main, both were delicious and perfect portion sizes. Finished off with the orange polenta cake with chocolate ice-cream was delightful. The only downfall was that the wine was quite expensive for the quality of wine and service at the end of meal was poor with a waiting time of 20mins to get the staffs attention to ask for the bill and other 10mins to receive the bill was slow & frustrating but taking in consideration that it did get busy and there was only 2 floor staff serving the whole restaurant lowered the quality of service.

Ivans Oyster Bar & Grill
17 - 18 West Pier, Howth, Dublin

Ivans Fruit De Mer With Lobster in the starters menu is like heaven and a great portion, it lasted through the starter, main and desert with 2 bottles of wine. Service was great and ambience was perfect. The quality of food was very good value for money.

profile_review

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and my partner go here very often, the food and service is great, the wine cellar is very nice and casually relaxing especially on Mondays with no corkage fee. But we noticed for the past 3 years we have been going to Fallon and Byrne, the Menu never changed and became a boring. The xmas menu for group hasn’t changed either.

profile_review

Seagrass of Portobello Bridge
30 South Richmond Street, Dublin 8, Portobello, Dublin

We came here with a party of 10; unfortunately we were table as you come in by the front door. The food was just ok; the seafood platter for two which was costly at 50E was only enough for one person. Very dissapointed with the variety of seafood on the platter too.

Inch House
Nenagh Road, Thurles, Tipperary

Entering Inch House grounds was beautiful, greeted my the isolated gate house and guided by the fields of wheat. The House was very welcoming. The sitting area full of history and antiques. Service was good, the food was very tasty with perfect portions.

profile_review

Milano (Dundrum)
Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

a nice lively atmosphere, service was slow, starters requested to come out with main course was forgotten even when asked, until we finished our mains the starters came out. The bill charged for extras even though we didnt ordered extras. food was nice but very small portion size.

The Nuthouse

Very nice food and service was good, table settings were stained so that was abit off putting. Overall good value for good food.

Fiacri House
Boulerea, Knock, Roscrea, Tipperary

The food is absolutely amazing here, I had the Lamb and haven't tasted anything like that in a quite while. I didn't hear one complaint in relation to food throughout the meal from our group of 6. The quality was absolutely excellent and there was plenty to go around. The Dessert plate to finish is simply beautiful, a perfect assortment of all the delights on offer.I'm still not convinced about the layout in this place, first time I was here (celtic tiger times) there was traffic all around the table and this time we were put beside the toilet door. It feels like a 'community hall' to be honest. The atmsophere was affected also by the low temperature, although our location probably had something to do with it.The bar staff incl. owner were very polite and we felt very comfortable with them. They welcomed us well and dealt with all requests. The Table service staff weren't that impressive though and it felt as if we were at a wedding the way they dished out the food. They need to be more professional. All in all I loved the food but €53 plus supplements for most nice meats is excessive in the current environment. The food deserves a higher price than normal but the entire package doesn't. One really doesn't have to pay that anywhere these days for a good meal. We have been there twice, first time in 2010 and now in 2012, the menu hasn't change apart from the soup of the day. Would I go back, yes, but only when the prices are reduced and a slight update to the menu would be great too.

Trocadero
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Sevice and Food were excellent, great value for money on the pre theatre menu. Atmosphere seem cheesy and dark. Courtesy at the door was very cold, my partner and I were leaving the restaurant after a lovely meal and we both politely said thank you and goodbye, the two ladies that were at the front door reception completely ignored our gesture, we left with a bad after taste.

Sandbar
193 Clontarf Road, North Dublin, Clontarf, Dublin

A nice Sunday night sitting outside in the warmt of the heaters with the seaview and cars passing, we were greeted with a welcome smile and menu, we ordered the Antipasti plate for two, carbonara and the house white wine. great quality of food and drink and excellent value for money.

Carr's at the Park Avenue
Main Street, Thurles, Tipperary

Sunday dinner sitting for five in the afternoon, service was very poor, our waiting time for the main course was 30mins, taken in account that the restaurant not busy, plenty of free tables. I ordered the Chicken Curry, the dish came out with rice which was not fresh and soft, tasted like it was microwave cooking, the chicken was partly shredded and it was very dry, the curry seemed watered down and tasteless. We ordered desert which took another 30mins to serve. We were Extremely disappointed overall!
