Most of us only take the time to write a review when we go somewhere that was exceptional or awful, myself included. This is the definitely the former, as 'foodies' we were in awe with the flavours that we savoured in every dish. Living in south Dublin (between Dundrum & Glasthule) we are spoilt with a few high end Indian Restaurants, our trip to north Wicklow was worth every bit of it. Truly stunned of the quality & value and even more that we only heard of this Pink Salt in the past few days... WOW

Only discovered this Indian a few months ago, have returned a bit now as we find the food exceptional. Not your typical Indian food, more a gourmet Indian restaurant. A wonderful fusion of taste in every dish we have tried there, order the platter & you will appreciate the variety. Staff are very professional & looked after us well. Only lose points on the atmosphere... entrance is to the back of the building and maybe this is why it is not always too busy as people don't know it is there - it certainly serves the best Indian dishes & we would highly recommend it.

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

Been to Fire a few times, each time it has improved. The atmosphere is buzzy, the menus are very good & broad. 4 of us had dinner on Saturday & not one of us was disappointed, the prawns were a favourite at our table, followed by rack of lamb, prawn main course & Monkfish. All too full for desert so we moved downstairs to the lounge for the night cap. Nice experience, but is a treat for us, a bit pricey.

That's Amore - Monkstown
107 Monkstown Road, South Dublin, Monkstown, Dublin

Heard from friends that it was Phenomenal, so had to check it out and boy did it live up to expectations and then some. Fig & parma ham to start for the lady followed by Ravioli in a stunning tomato sauce, a simple Minestrone soup and then a wafer thin pizza that just melted in the mouth. The atmosphere in this small 20 seater was wonderful, even for a Sunday evening, staff, service and value is exceptional. This is the best Italian we have eaten outside of Italy! Big issue...it can be a 2 week wait list to get a table and good reviews might make it a longer wait!!!

Victoria Asian Cuisine
5A The Cresent, South Co. Dublin , Monkstown, Dublin

Superb, ticks all the right boxes... The €25pp as many plates as you want is fantastic, our waiter very happily recommended a number of dishes, even suggested a few of the Chef's own dishes, all served in small enough portions to enjoy properly. Been back a number of times now and have never been disappointed.

Langkawi
46 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Hadn't been here for a while. The flavour is good & a nice change from other asian foods. The cost just seems to be OTT, bottles of water that are on the table when you arrive are charged at €5.00 each, coconut rice is extra €4 on a €24.95 main course. Where it was tasty the bill for 2 was over €115 which only included 2 glasses of wine.
