We were met by the maitre d and brought to table. He told the waitress to bring the voucher menu. Our service was fast and friendly, however, I saw other full paying diners waiting longer than us. We had a choice of steak or steak, so we had steak. It was nice, not brilliant, but nice. The main negative was that we were given normal knives and not steak knives, so that meant that it gave the impression the steak was tough. Decor was nice, but there were minor, very minor, touches that could have improved it, e.g. the handrail on the stairs was loose, hot water tap in toilet wasn't working and flimsy door lock on toilet. Improving on the small things are noticeable. When it was time to leave, there was no one to bid us on our way. As i said, all small touches.

A group of us went to the Mandarin on New Years Eve. Great atmosphere, music arrive around 12.30 & kept going all night. We left at 4.30am & it was still going on. Food was the as usual, excellent
