Excellent value and great food!!! Visited the Farm a fortnight ago with a friend. Had been really looking forward to it and was not disappointed overall. The food was excellent: I had the chicken salad. The dressing was delicious and the portion size generous. The staff were very eager to wait our table, a little too eager. There seemed to be more staff than customers at that early stage of the evening. The chef was very gruff towards a waitress at one stage; they should probably keep in mind they seat people right beside the kitchen. Tipperary Organic Ice cream was delicious for dessert & overall our meal was very good value. I would definitely return again!

Nice Christmas Lunch! I went to Il Corvo with some colleagues yesterday to mark our Christmas holidays. The service was excellent, and the food very tasty. There was a good few people in for lunch so a nice atmosphere too. The service was sharp which was helpful as we were on our lunch hour. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Bear
35 South William Street, Dublin 2, South William Street, Dublin

Hmmmm.... the jury is out Im afraid. When we arrived we were told we would be seated in 10-15 mins. In fairness to the staff it was less than that and I found the staff to be very helpful, if a little rushed off their feet. There was a propblem with where we were seated but that was sorted promply. The food - yeah the steak was nice, sides were good but overall it just didnt win me over. They don't do deserts - c'mon now!!! Also lso I really enjoy a coffee at the end of a meal. My coffee arrived in a camping mug, which Im sure is meant to be very 'hip' but frankly Id prefer a proper cup and with a little something on the side.... Im not a fan of the communal bench dining but on this occasion we didn't have neighbours so no issue. One other thing, the music. There was background techno music on in the restaurant when we arrived, no complaints there but by the end of the night it was extremely loud, 3am warehouse party stuff which was just too much! (maybe Im just getting old) Ovedrall Im not sure Id bother returning, there are several other good steakhouses in Dublin with a better atmosphere in my opinion and I may even get a slice of cake!

Whitefriar Grill
16 Aungier Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Had a lovely brunch at the White Friar Grill. We were in town early and wandered up to Aungier Street just after 12noon. We didn't have a reservation and got one of the only tables they could offer on spec. The food was excellent I had the pulled pork, which was absolutely delish and himself had eggs benedict which also was lovely. good coffee served with sugar syrup instead of sugar (nice touch). Would defintiely return!

Chez Max (Palace Street)
1 Palace Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ok overall.... I was in Chez Max last weekend with a large group and we had the set lunch menu. The choice on the menu was good however there was a variety in what was delivered on the plate, by that I mean portion sizes. Though this was pointed out to the waitress nothing was said or done by the staff. Wasn't overly impressed...

L'Gueuleton
No 1 Fade Street, Off Georges's Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

So Impressed!!! I was in L'Gueuleton for dinner last week for the first time. We went for an early dinner so we didn't need to queue for a table. The food was amazing, portion sizes very good and flavours fantastic! I had the snails, they were delicious and the suckling pig was out of this world. Their wine list is very good. My only suggestions for improvement would be the tables are very closed together in parts, though it didn't bother me I could see how it could. Also they don't make dessert coffees which was a shame, a French coffee would have been lovely. Finally, a special mention to the very friendly staff team, they are key to the wonderful atmosphere, Ill definitely be back!!!

Andersons Creperie
1A Carlingford Road, Drumcondra, Drumcondra, Dublin

What a find! Just around the corner from where I work and a real lunchtime treat. The menu is excellent and the food of great quality. Portion sizes are large and staff check in that you have everything you need. Lovely atmosphere, could easily spend the afternoon here chatting over a few glasses of wine or coffees.

Marios Pizzeria
12G New Street, Shopping Mall, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Mario's saved our life!! We left it very late for food one evening but at 11pm Mario's gave us a table and the time to eat a full meal! The pizza was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful, even boxed our leftover Pizza to take home. Highly recommend Mario's for a cheap and cheerful bite to eat & a friendly welcome!

Pink Elephant
Mains Court, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Recently visited The Pink Elephant for the first time, after a recommendation from a friend. The restaurant was easily booked just a few hours beforehand and when we arrived it was very busy. The menu is varied and the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely go back again. The only criticisms I would have is that the wine list is a little expensive and the tables very close together but there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant as a busy time of the week.
