Even though it was Football All Ireland Sunday, and our server did not think any bookings had been taken for that day,he graciously got us a table in a very busy pub.I was a bit disappointed that the delicious pate is no longer on the menu, but the mushroom bruschetta was also lovely.I was tempted to have beef and Guinness pie again, but opted for the pork ribs. They didn't disappoint ,delicious sauce and a very generous portion. The steak and fishcakes were also highly approved of by my husband. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience.

Cinnamon Ranelagh
87 Ranelagh, South Dublin, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

It was my second time eating in Cinnamon ,the first visit I enjoyed, but this one was disappointing. The lady who showed us our table seemed to be in a bad mood and barely acknowledged us,not a good start to an evening out. While starters were ok,and main courses adequate,we were not asked at any stage how our food was.Thankfully a young waiter served our wine and he was very pleasant.I will not be dining there again.

1900 Restaurant & Bar
59 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

We had crab salad and terrine to start, both were delicious, mains of steak and lamb were also very good.I do think the menu is overpriced though, especially wine list.Staff are friendly but not very efficient and we did wait a long time to order even though it wasn',t very busy.

Eden Bar and Grill
7 South William Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely starters, especially the prawns. My pork belly was delicious.I asked if I could have it a little crispier and it was immediately taken away and returned promptly when ready. The wine list is a bit pricey.

Buenos Aires Grill

Kafka (Dublin)
236 Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6, Rathmines, Dublin

The food was excellent as was the French Sauvignon Blanc. We had prawn spring rolls, lamb shank and burger. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Our first visit to Kafka was very enjoyable.I think the brown tables are a bit bare, and some nice table mats and flowers would really brighten it up.

Jerusalem Restaurant
77 Camden Street Lwr., Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

The staff were welcoming , and decor is very nice. Our starters, prawns in filo and chicken wings were very good. However ,my main course of lamb skewer was inedible as it was exceedingly tough.I ate some of the sides.I informed the waiter and was offered dessert.I accepted a coffee. My husband enjoyed his mixed meat skewer.

Darwins
80 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great steaks always,I really like that there are two steaks on the early bird menu with no supplement.Pate and calamari starters are very good.I'm going there again on Thurs eve.

Harrys Kitchen Restaurant
22, Dawson Street, Dublin

I liked the idea of having a Menupages menu,so we could order anything from that without supplements.Crab starter and steak were delicious. As it was quiet ,staff were over attentive, and came to the table often to pour the wine.I find this very irritating, but they were polite at all times.

PHX Bistro
12 Ellis Quay, Ellis House, Smithfield, Dublin 7, City Centre North, Dublin

The restaurant was very quiet, probably due to its location and it was early Sunday .The waitress was very friendly and chatty.

The Italian Corner
23/24 Wellington Quay, Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

We had seafood in batter and chicken wings to start.I found the batter to be heavy and perhaps undercooked,it's a pity to cover such a lovely fish selection in batter atall! The mussels at the next table looked great,I'll try them next time. The main courses were really delicious, both beef medallions and chicken with parma ham.A very enjoyable meal.Thank you.

Smyth & Gray's Restaurant

The bar is lovely, and the barman was very welcoming and chatty. We had chicken wings and pate to start, both were delicious. Our waitress was also friendly and chatty. For mains I had fish pie but I was a little disappointed in it,I did not really like the sauce or potato topping. My husband really liked his burger. All in it was a very enjoyable evening and we will be back.Thank you.

Rody Bolands

We enjoyed a delicious meal, especially the pate so beautifully presented. The beef in both the pie and the baguette was really tender and portions were generous.I could only barely manage a little of the fruit pie for dessert, which was scrumptious.Staff were welcoming and efficient. All in all, it was a lovely evening and we will return.Thank you.Marian

We arrived lastnight Thurs 13th June,to find restaurant closed and no sign up to tell us what had happened. Most disappointed and restaurants nearby were booked out.
