Reviewed 05th April 2011 ( visited 03rd March 2011 )I went here for my girlfriends birthday and have since gone back as I found this restaurant to be extremely tasty. The atmosphere was good on his particular night and the service was quick and friendly. I had chicken wings as a starter which were very spicy but nice and a great portion size. She had nachos and she enjoyed them aswell. for our mains I had staek that came with veg and poatoe gratin, my girlfriend had a chicken caesar salad, these both tasted amazing and we had no room for dessert because we were so full. I would definitly recommend toblerome cheesecake from my previous times been here ;-)

One of my favourite restaurants. Ive tried nearly everything on the menu at this stage so theres nothing in particular that I would recomend as you will be happy with everything on offer. The staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is great every time as its always a pleasant place to be as its so busy all the time. Very good value for money aswell.

The atmosphere very welcoming, food fantastic, service very quick and helpfull. Quite expensive for an italian restarant but I didnt expect any less from Dalkey. I would definitly recommend the vegetarian pasta dish, absolutely delicious

Itsa @ Dun Laoghaire (Bagel Store)

Graham O'Sullivan Restaurant
Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
I went here for lunch and ordered a salad sandwich and chips for side salad as the hot food that was on offer looked like it had been lying there since the day before which completely turned me off. The service was very bad and there were long queues that just were not moving so it felt plus the staff were chatting away despite the big long queue. I would have left only my friend was very hungry and needed food. The sandwich itself was average but the chips were full of grease and I couldnt eat too many of them. The food was bad value for money or the food that was been offered. I will not return again.
Toscana (Dun Laoghaire)
5 Windsor Terrace, South Co. Dublin , Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
This was my second time going here in a few years and I was still as impressed as the first time I went. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were brilliant at making you feel at home and were exceptionally nice. My food was very fresh and incredibly tasty, the desserts in particular were amazing. We had a very good night and I would definitly recommend this restaurant to others. Very beautifull decor inside aswell looking out onto the sea.
harbor bar and grill
dun laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
I went here for some sunday food in the evening and found the food quite average. I ordered vegtable soup for a atsrter and caesar salad for mains.I found the soup a bit cold and tasteless plus my salad had bits of brown leaves in it and was not fresh. I would have returned it but i found the sevice slow and knew I would be waiting even longer for a different meal. The atmosphere was very busy and there was alot of small children running around which I found very distracting. I will not return here again
Amerta Chinese Restaurant
Clifton Avenue, Monkstown, Dublin
I went here for my sisters birthday, there was a group of 8 with us and we got a lovely round table in the corner which was nice and private. The service was quick and friendly. It seemed like a very busy place to eat as it was packed for the whole time we were there. The food was delicious and the portions were very big.Everyone enjoyed there food and there was no complaints. It was great value for money aswell and you could order as much as you wanted throughout your stay. I would definitly recommend it to other people and Im sure I will return in the near future
Killiney Shopping Centre, Rochestown Avenue, Killiney, Dublin
I went here for some sunday dinner and had the ham and turkey. The service was quick and the atmosphere was good. The only negative point is that there was a match on and the pub was packed full with people and we found it hard to get a seat but one of the waitresses was helpfull and looked around for us to find a nice comfortable area to eat. The meal was lovely and not expensive so I will probably return again soon,
The Rockfield Lounge
Wyckham Way, Dundrum, Dublin
All I can say about this pub is the food is fantastic, one of the best pub foods Ive had in a long time. The atmosphere is good and the service great, the lady serving the food was extremely nice and very friendly. We got the 3 course for 15 euro, great value for money plus the portions were very big I got the chicken wings for starter ham and chicken for mains and Warm chocolate cake for dessert. I will definitly be going back again soon as its the best value for money that I have got in a long time
Eddie Rockets (Parnell Centre)
Parnell Centre, City Centre North, Dublin
went here before the cinema and got a table straight away. The atmosphere was ice and the staf were very friendly. I ordered the chicken wings in spicy sauce and were extremely spicy but were nice, the portion was really good value for money. I ordered a chicken caesar salad for mains that were served with chicken tenders on top. This portion was quite small and a bit disappointing plus the chicken tenders were over cooked which let the food down. The milkshakes are extremely tasty and would be one thing I would definitly recommend to anyone wanting to go. It was quite expensive considering how the mains let it down.
Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
I went here and from the min I got in it was packed but we were only waiting a few mins then got a nice quiet table down the back, the waitress was extremely nice and very helpfull with what food she recommended. I got chicken wings for the starter and Spagetti bolonaise for mains, the service was very quick and both dishes were served at the right moment. The chicken wings were delicious and would definitly be ones Id recommend getting again. The Spagetti bolonaise was basic but there was a good portion served out which made up for it.I would definitly return again to this restaurant as the meal both starter and main course with a gass of wine cost less then 20euro.
ely bar & brasserie
CHQ Building, Georges Dock, Dublin 1, City Centre, IFSC, Dublin
I went with my work friends one day for lunch and didnt get served quick as it was very busy. I ordered the lamb shank which was very tasty and the meat was so soft it fell off the bone. The atmosphere was good and it had a nice ambience from the moment you walked in. The only thing I would comment on was the fact you had to order all side dishes at an extra cost. The price was quite expensive but out of 9 people who ordered with us none complained and all taught it was very tasty,
The Spencer hotel, Excise Walk, IFSC , IFSC, Dublin
I went here for lunch one day and got a table the min we walked in, the atmosphere was good and the staff were very helpfull when deciding on what to choose on the menu as I was a bit unsure at first glance. I ordered the nasri goreg as I love prawns which were included in this dish.My friend had the chicken curry which was quite spicy but very fresh and extra tasty. The service was very quick and I would definitly recommend here to anyone that is looking for somewhere different to go for lunch.
FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin
Truly one of the best restaurants in Dublin. We went before Valentines Day and will be one to remember. The place has a very welcoming decor. I had king prawns for starter which were great. The food was served with bread which is always a nice touch. For mains I had steak which was cooked to perfection medium to rare the way I like it. Desert was death by chocolate and this was presented excellently. The service from our waitress was five star really poilite friendly and was willing to take pictures of the both of us too. Our meal was quite expensive though 60% of that was alchol and would defintly reccommend their cocktails.

This is without doubt the best all you can eat Chinese in the city. A large selecton of all starters and main courses. The selection of deserts especially the ice cream is fantastic. The food is constantly rotated and food we had that was all rather fresh and very tasty. A lively atmosphere while we were there with lots of large groups and the service is extremely friendly and quick. If you are hungary and looking for value for money this is recommended.
