I was really excited about this new restaurant my boyfriend had surprised me going there and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunatly I was very dissappointed by the meal as my boyfriend was his was very bland and mine was tasteless and tiny. The service was really bad and I found the staff very unfriendly the girl that took our order actually answered her mobile half way through taking the order which I felt was totally unprofessional. I will not be going back there. Such a dissappointment.

Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

Steak is divine, afterthat I've nothing good to say. I tried four times before i booked a table I was so looking forward to it and it was supposed to be a special treat for my boyfriend who can't eat meat. There was not much of a selection for him and what he did get was extremely small. The main reason I won't be going back is the rudeness of the waiter, he nearly dropped a knife on me and didn't even apolgise he was extremely rude throughout the meal and the final straw was he actually counted the money in front of us, I've never been so embarrassed in my life. It would take alot for me to ever think of setting a foot inside the door again. And lastly I think it's outrageous to charge 5 euro a scallop!

Thai Orchid (Dublin)
7 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

As you can see below this was my favourite restaurant up until yesterday :( I noticed the more I went the smaller the portions were getting, yesterday was the worst ever and the price has gone up over €5 in a very short time. I took a good look around before I left as I will not be going back. I'm so dissappointed now I have to look for a new favourite restaurant, I don't know what they changed here whether it be management or cook but I wish they'd unchange it. Absolutely love this place have been millions of times, although I think they have new owners as portions have got smaller, I don't mind but my boyfriend would like them to go back to the big portions :) The staff are very friendly and aim to please. Have the Pad Thai you will not be dissappointed. Without a doubt the best Thai restaurant in Dublin. Enjoy! :)

The Terenure Inn
96 Terenure Road North, Terenure, Dublin

Its definitely restaurant food in a pub. The pasta is divine and just as good if not better than any Italian I've eaten in. I'd highly recommend it for any meal you're considering. Anyway if you go to the Terenure Inn to eat your in for a treat :)

Pierre's
8 Quay Street, Galway City, Galway

I'd been here on a few occasions the food was nice enough but nothing amazing. I did like the atmosphere though and that's what brought us back again. The last time I dined there I was extremely disappointed though. We were given our menus and made our selection and were happy with the choice of dishes. But when the waiter came to take our orders, everything we chose they didn't have. I think it was extremely unprofessional not to let people know before they choose what isn't available not to mention annoying. They didn't even have garlic bread. They blamed it on a busy weekend, I believe every weekend is busy in Galway City. We left without eating and we will not be going back. I'd advise the owner to have a look at his/her stock levels in the future. I'm dissapointed I can't go back there again as I did like the ambiance of the restaurant.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I'd never went to an organic restaurant and I was a little put of originally as I believed it was a vegetarian restaurant and I love my meat! I was pleasantly surprised when I went for a friends birthday. I would definitely go again. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff where extremely friendly and there was a wide selection of reasonably priced food which was yummy and enjoyed by all. If you haven't been I'd recommend you to go :)
