Had a drink in the cosy bar before our meal. Our meal was delicious. Had squid to start along with the complimentary poppadoms & chutneys. My korma & pilau rice was absolutely fabulous, my mouth is watering as type!! Lovely bottle of wine, very attentive, good service, water & wine topped up regularly. Definitely recommend and will definitely return.Cuisine:

The Oar House Fish Restaurant

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The prawns in garlic for starter were divine, was sorry I didn't get the main course portion. Fish

Casa Pasta (Clontarf)
55 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin
Haven't been to Casa Pasta for years and have to say it was fab. Went with my husband and two 11 year olds. I had the bruschetta to start and the tomatoes were gorgeously fresh and tasty. Hubbie had the brie which I tasted and it was delicious with the coulis. He had pasta which he loved and I had a pizza. Girls had garlic bread (ciabata bread and fresh garlic), chicken wings and a pizza. Desserts were banoffi and brownie which were lovely too. Carafe of wine, 2 juices and got change from €90. Definitely won't leave it as long next time!

Restaurant Ten Fourteen
324 Clontarf Road, Clontarf, Dublin
Visited 1014 recently and was a bit disappointed. we both had the fish and chips for main course and found the batter soggy and the chips hard and undercooked. The chicken wings to start with were a bit flavourless also. Kids did enjoy their sausage and mash. Service however was excellent and water was topped up regularly. Won't be rushing back though.

Picasso Restaurant
1 Vernon Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin
My first visit to Picasso's and will definitely return. Had mussels to start and scampi for main course. Both were cooked to perfection. Plenty of vegetables as part of main. My other half had the crab cakes which were delightful to start and a steak for main. Had a lovely bottle of the New Zealand, Marlborough wine priced at €30, perfectly chilled. Have paid a lot more for the same wine in other restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will be back very soon.

Kinara Restaurant
318 Clontarf Road, North Co. Dublin , Clontarf, Dublin
Loved the whole Kinara experience. Food to die for the squid for starter was amazing. Gorgeous Korma with pilau rice and bishmash main was best I've ever tasted. Service was excellent, water topped up regularly. Lovely atmosphere and very comfortable surroundings. Defintely planning our next visit.

Moloughney's Clontarf
9 Vernon Avenue, North Dublin, Clontarf, Dublin
Visited for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. Great atmosphere, restaurant had a great buzz. Service a little slow but it was particularly busy. Amazing daube of beef, literally melted in my mouth.

F.X. BUCKLEY Steakhouse Pembroke Street
1A Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
My husband and I ate here for a special occasion and we were thrilled to have chosen this restaurant. I had the mussels and himself had the scallops which apparently were the nicest he'd ever tasted. As it was a steakhouse we both had rib eye steaks. They were cooked to perfection, the selection of veg, potatoes and not to mention the cripy cajun onions were amazing. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert but were more than satisfied leaving. The service was exceptional & our wine & water was topped up regularly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Sandbar
193 Clontarf Road, North Dublin, Clontarf, Dublin
Have visited Sandbar several times in past for pizzas & pasta with the family. last Friday 10 of us visited and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were seated upstairs at a very comfortable table, there was a fabulous singer/pianist playing in the corner. The food was amazing, ordered off the specials and had mushroom/pancetta bruschetta followed by the monkfish which was cooked to perfection. 3 large plates of broccoli/carrots and lovely sautéed potatoes were served. The service was excellent, the food arrived promptly and the water jugs were continuously filled. Would definitely recommend for a group at night and indeed for a casual family dinner.

McHugh’s Wine & Dine Restaurant
59 St. Assam's Park, Dublin 5, Raheny, Dublin
Great evening in mchughs! Went with husband & 3 children. Early bird great value, and food was very good.kids loved the chicken pasta. Toddler was offered a complimentary baby bowl. Very pleasant evening & made feel very comfortable despite having the kids with us. Definitely will return.

Wongs of Clontarf
436 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin
Love Wongs, we tend to go early evening as we bring our children so naturally the atmosphere is a bit dead. Food is amazing, the best Chinese food around, nothing or nowhere compares. The service is excellent and the children are always very well looked after. The even remember to bring a little bowl and teaspoon for my toddler.

Dobbins @ The Park
South Lotts Road, Dublin 4, Ringsend, Dublin
Atmosphere amazing and as a group we thoroughly enjoyed that racing. The service was efficient and very friendly. The food was awful though and we felt totally ripped off. We love Dobbins in the City Centre but we felt the food was poor, limited menu and we won't be going back.

Da Mimmo Restaurant
148A North Strand Road, City Centre North, Dublin
Love Da Mimmo, was here previously with my family and the kids loved the pasta and pizzas. Was here last Thurs with a group of friends and again, I wasn't diappointed. Only complaint was that the pizza was too big! Antipasti were very tasty, staff were very efficient and friendly. Can't wait til my next visit.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin
Enjoyed our evening. Reception area very busy and a bit hectic when we arrived and it took a little while to be seated. Food was lovely, chose the Prawn Cocktail starter but would have been very disappointed if I had paid €17.95 for it (had MP voucher), very few prawns. Otherwise the food was very good. Service was good, the restaurant was very busy but as I said we enjoyed our evening and would return.
