Cannot say enough good things about the food in this restaurant. Would particularly recommend their nachos to start - with homemade taco chips, excellent. Also enjoyed their jerky chicken, smokey and very succulent. Would also recommend their tacos which are huge! Take a chance and do try this restaurant.

The Italian Corner
23/24 Wellington Quay, Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

We had 2 pizzas and they were excellent. Obviously freshly cooked and bases were not soggy. Overall a very positive experience.

Pearl Brasserie
20 Merrion Street Upper, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We had such a lovely lunch here. Can't say enough good things - food was amazing, such flavours. Staff were very friendly and liked that they explained each course. This restaurant has become our new favourite place to eat, especially for that special occasion. I cannot recommend Pearl Brasserie highly enough.

Montys of Kathmandu
28 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We have eat eaten here on several occasions and have enjoyed a wide variety of excellent dishes. It is hard to improve on perfection but somehow they managed it last night! Looking forward to our next visit.

Hungry Mexican Restaurant @ Bodkins Bar
Bodkins Bar, 57 Bolton Street, City Centre North, Dublin

We ate here last night on a menupages voucher. Can't say enough good things about the food - flavours excellent and the portion sizes are large too. Especially like their homemade salas, notably their tomato and pineapple salas. Also, love the ambience and their very helpful and friendly staff.

Hungry Mexican Restaurant @ Bodkins Bar
Bodkins Bar, 57 Bolton Street, City Centre North, Dublin

We ate here on a menupages voucher. Cannot say enough good things about the quality of the food - the flavours were amazing. Personally we would have rated the food on a scale of 1-5 at least a 10! We had the La Bomba de Mexican and Fish Ceviche to start which were excellent. We followed this with Chicken Mole and Jerky Chicken which was delightfully smokey. Would suggest you give this new mexican restaurant a try.

Quay 16 Restaurant @ MV Cill Airne
MV Cill Airne, North Wall Quay, IFSC, Dublin

We had the early bird menu and I cannot talk too highly of both the quality of the food and the value. We had the catch of the day which was seabass and it was cooked to perfection. Also their dessert of Hazelnut macroons with deep fried banoffee icecream was a perfect end to a wonderful meal. Can't wait to go back.

Diwali Indian Restaurant
Unit 1, Castle House, South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Just cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The flavours of the food are excellent. The staff are friendly and know their menu well. They will even amend dishes to suit you if required. It is excellent value for money as well. Four of us ate there last night with starters, main courses, sundries & bottle of proscecco and the bill came to €125!

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We went there on a menupages voucher. We had the steak on a stone and it was excellent. We even asked for some extra onions & peppers to cook with the steak and this was no problem. Staff very friendly. The decor needs a little work but the steak on a stone makes this a restaurant we would definitely visit again.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Went here for dinner on one of your voucher deals. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Had the crab wontons for starters and steak for main course. My partner had the Goat's Cheese Tart for his main course and he is still raving about it. Would highly recommend this restaurant. My only grip and it is a small one - would prefer just the one waiter serving us - we had at least 4 waiters. Would definitely go back again.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

We were there the night this restaurant opened and we had high hopes. The menu is varied and interesting. We ordered two main courses - the ribeye steak and the sirloin. After waiting over an hour I enquired of the waitress whether we should go to McDonalds and come back! She went to the kitchen to check on the status of our order and came back with the following statement "Dylan apologies for the incompetence of his staff" - we were not impressed. However, this "incompetence" was not reflected in the service of the floor staff - they were excellent & very pleasant to deal with. Our meal arrived shortly after that. We have had similar meals abroad and we felt that the steaks were fully cooked by the time they had reached us, so there was no need for the sizzling stone! We found it a very expensive night out and we were offered no compensation for the very late arrival of our main courses. We would not be returning and would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Louies Bistro
20 Mountjoy Square East, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Six of us from work went to Louies Bistro for lunch. The food was excellent with special mention for their apple cake with apple crumble icecream. I would have no hesitation in recommending Louies, not only for the food but excellent service and on price it won't be beaten. Will definitely return.

Imperial Chinese
12A Wicklow Street, City Centre South, Dublin

First time I had dinner here since it was renovated. The food was excellent and service was efficient. My one complaint would be that the waiters removed plates too quickly. They took my partner's plates away before I was finished. It felt like they wanted up out of there as quickly as possible. It is expensive, so would not be rushing back too soon.

Chapter One Restaurant
18/19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Had family dinner in Chapter One and we booked one of their private rooms, which was excellent. Service was prompt and very efficient. Particulary liked that the maitre de gave us an explanation of the dishes on the menu. Also offered us a tour of the kitchen. Fantastic food, attentive waiting staff, good selection of wine and excellent atmosphere. A fantastic dining experience.

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

We went here for lunch and order the chicken yellow curry. It was excellent and the service was prompt and efficient. The atmosphere was also quite special.

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I have visited Odessa quite regularly over the years for brunch and liked it a lot. I notice that your last review for this restaurant was in December 2008 so I thought I had better let your readers know that things have changed! They have re-jigged their menu especially their brunch menu. The quality and quantity of the food is not as good as it was. They seem to have reviewed their portion sizes especially their "French Toast", which looked like plain white sliced bread was used. When we remarked that the quality was not as good we were told "that it was due to the economic downturn"!

Ristorante Romano
12 Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Myself and two friends went to Romano’s Ristorante in Capel Street last night. This is a small Italian restaurant. The biggest sections of the menu are pastas and pizzas but there are little corners of the menu that also offer meat and and assorted non-Italian dishes. For starters we had bruschetta and for the main course we had pizzas. The pizzas were excellent with a light, crispy base. The wine is short and very reasonably priced. In fact their house wine is sold in a 50cl carafe at €10. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with attentive staff. The cost for the three of us, including dessert and wine was €95.00

Trocadero
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant. Really liked the atmosphere, especially the red decor. The booths are very special. The food was excellent. I had the Crayfish salad and my partner had the deep fried brie. We both had the seabass, which was cooked to perfection. Also the waiters are only too willing to help you choose and they know the menu very well.
