I have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I absolutely love the food here. The staff are fantastic too. Tapas night on a Sunday seems to be a new thing. It was quiet enough so hopefully it will pick up. The place is always buzzing at breakfast & lunch time. Well worth a visit.

I never noticed this little place before and I only worked around the corner. We had gorgeous pizza's and the best garlic bread ever. Both myself and the kids loved it.

That's Amore - Malahide
12 Townyard Lane, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

More people should know about this restaurant. It seems to be a little off the radar. I love it, this was my second time to have dinner & I have also been for breakfast. Food is gorgeous & staff are great. Well worth a visit.

Noble House - Malahide Rd
Northern Cross, Malahide Road, Malahide, Dublin

We ate here as a family of 4 last week. We had bought a menupages deal. It was €50 voucher for €25. The deal would have been good if we had gone later in the evening. We booked for 1830 on Sunday & the early bird was on which we weren't allowed to avail of. So the main courses we ate we're the same value as the early bird. I don't see why it excludes it. In the end it didn't work out great value, I would suggest to anyone with a voucher to go later as it was annoying knowing we weren't getting a good deal in the end. This said, the food was lovely and the staff are great. Very friendly and attentive.

El Toro Bravo
27 South Richmond Street, Portobello, Dublin

We booked with a deal. When we arrived we were told they were out of a lot of food & if we would like to come back another time that was fine. We don't live anywhere close so we took a table. I felt very sorry for the waitress having to give this speech to everyone who came in but I have to say she did a fantastic job despite the problem. I had read the menu before I arrived & had chosen what I wanted. One dish wasn't allowed with the deal & the other was off the menu. There was no fish dishes. What I did order I really enjoyed & I think the staff are the saving grace of this restaurant. Well done to Allana & the chef.

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

This is a little hidden gem, on O'Connell St. This was my second time visiting the restaurant. I have to admit when I first went I was a bit skeptical. On arrival it is not the most inviting place, the decor is plain and drab but the food was fantastic. I have been for lunch with the girls and dinner with my husband. I am really looking forward to my next visit for the steak cooked on the stone, I have heard it's fab. All this place needs is a makeover. I highly recommend it.

The Big Blue Restaurant
30 Church Street, Howth, Dublin

My family and I booked dinner for 6.30 on a Thursday evening. Upon arrival we were impressed. The restaurant is nice, we were greeted by a very nice lady and our table had a view of the harbor. It went rapidly downhill from there. Starters weren't great, my husband had to ask for the brown bread that went with the smoked salmon. The waitress checked the menu to see if we could have it. I was given the wrong main course. My children had chicken nuggets and chips.......they were given three nuggets each. My husband asked for draft beer and had to return it as it was dreadful. One of my daughters ordered pancakes. I would have presumed they would have been freshly made, but they were very similar to the local supermarket kind. I can safely say I won't be dining here again. Every course brought a different issue. I might add, there were only three tables occupied including ours.
