Visited the restaurant with my family (table of ten) on a busy Saturday night an 7 p.m. Because there were ten of us the Chef did created a special offer mini a la carte menu. It had duck, steak and stuffed chicken, the price was fantastic and the price was better! I had goats cheese and the duck for main. The duck was slow cooked and it came sitting on stir fry with a light plumy sauce. It was really delicious. For dessert I'd banoffee pie with ice-cream and a coffee. We drank a red Italian wine, Primitivo-it was so good I took the label home with me to see if I could source it. The wine list was very, very reasonable too with the most expensive bottle about 30e. We came at 7 and left at about 10-the place was swinging and the restaurant had a fantastic buzz about the place. The service was also great, very informative friendly and polite. I'd definitley head back!

Came here with a friend on a tuesday evening for the early bird menu. It's €25 for three courses. I had brie for starter which was fine, the salad it came on though was soggy and sweet, not to my tasting. For mains I had the steak rare. This was very disappointing. It was a very thin pale looking steak and lacked any flavour. The peppercorn sauce was very thin almost like gravy. The tripple fried chips were the best bit of the main course. The desserts were the best of the three courses. I had the banoffee and my friend had the brownie, both were delicious. For a Tuesday night the place was busy enough, the decor was nice and the service was fine too. However the startes and especially the mains were so disappointing that I wont be rushing back

Cocktails are fantastic and food is good! Went here for our work christmas night out and I re-visited during the summer with friends. Set dinner menu is very reasonable for inner city dublin. Had meatballs for starter which was a very generous portion, the scallops for mains though was only ok. They were a little under done for my liking. I would definitley recommend the place for girly nights out or big partis. Great atmosphere
