McCormacks is a quiet pub that centers around it's great value but full of taste food. Main courses average out at approx €13 but they are well worth the money. My favourite dish is their cajun chicken which is served on garlic ciabatta with a small side salad and your choice of chips, baked potatoe or side salad. Most of their mains are fantastic - basic dishes but really well done. We tend to go here at least once a month as it is nice to relax and have a glass of wine with your dinner - excellent place

Food is amazing!! It's usually too busy to have an actual atmosphere as all you can hear is people talking. The staff are lovely but very flustered and there is a bit of a wait between courses. When the food does come it is excellent, I'd highly recommend the Chinese starter for 2 but it is very filling would easily do 3 people. If you're only going for food and not an occassion try a week night - can't say enough about the food

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Newbridge)
Unit 57 – 59, The Avenue, Whitewater Shopping Centre, Newbridge, Kildare

I came here with my husband and our baby. We were served by a lovely gentleman. He explained the menu to us as we had never eaten in a GBK before. We placed our order and it was brought to us fairly promptly. It was a lovely burger I wouldn't crave one once finished but if you want a nice burger I would go here if in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to find a GBK

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I love this place (actually going back this Saturday). The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. I arrived early and was asked if I would like to be seated or wait in the bar area for my group. I opted for the bar area so I could indulge in one of their amazing cocktails (they just need bigger glasses :-)) When my group arrived we were shown through the curtain area and seated. I had the beef with holy basil - love this dish, it's just the right blend of taste and spice mmm I would whole heartedly suggest you try here as it's easy to get to as right by luas line at the Jervis stop, I can't wait to go back.

The Alamo Restaurant@ The Riverside Park Hotel
The Promenade, Enniscorthy, Wexford

We were staying in the hotel and as part of our package it included dinner here. \n\nWe arrived and were seated (not really greeted) asked if we needed a high chair then left for about 10 mins. \n\nWe ordered a bottle of white wine for €21 and were told it was on the shelf so would need to be chilled, which was fine but when they did bring it to us it was still warm and we ended up having to put ice in it. \n\nWe were not told until arrival that it was a set menu. \n\nIn my opinion it did not have a good variety. \n\nI has tomatoe and basil soup to start which was very bland. The bread that came with it was lovely. \n\nMy husband had the scampi which he said was nice. \n\nWe both opted for the steak which came out presented very well but was a very thin piece of steak. Overall it was nice but nothing that would make you order it again. \n\nFor dessert I ordered the after eight that had a great description but when it came out it was essentially just scoops of mint and scoops of vanilla ice-cream with a biscuit. \n\nI don\'t think I would attend this restaurant again. \n

Bakers Corner
Kill Avenue, Kill O’The Grange, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

I can\'t remember the exact date I was here I just remember it was near the end of my pregnancy. \n\nI had, had a long day in the hospital so we decided on the way home not to cook. \n\nI have eaten in Bakers many, many time but I think as I was not drinking I appreciated the food much more. \n\nI had the steak sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. \n\nThe staff both at the bar and serving the food were so friendly and helpful. I asked to change a few things with my dinner and there was no hassle at all. \n\nI had such a delicious meal and a nice relaxin time. \n\nAnything I have ever eaten here has been lovely and I would highly recommend it for pub grub.

Ginthai
The Plaza Hotel Complex, Belgard Road, Tallaght, Dublin

I went here yesterday with my husband and we had our baby with us. \n\nThey are currently running (until Sunday 15th Sept) a 50% off menu prices (unfortunately not including drinks :-)) for their Facebook fans - go follow them. \n\nThe decor is lovely and we were seated in a both which was very comfortable. \n\nThe staff here were all professional and nice. \n\nWe got here just after 6 and there were only about 4 tables occupied as it was so early. \n\nWe both ordered the pork belly for starters it seemed to take a good while to come. When they arrived they were beautifully presented but only 3 small squares I think at least 4 is needed as your just left wanting another bite. They were delicious. \n\nWe had another wait between courses. I ordered the chilli beef and my husband had the steak. \n\nMy dish was gorgeous. The beef was lovely and tender and nice hot chillies mmmm\n\nMy husband said his steak was nice but he would never pay the €23 for it but for half price it was worth it. \n\nI had a cocktail I think was called Red October (it was Red something) it was Devine and the artistry in the glass was so good I made my hubby take a photo - I know geek!!! It\'s taste lived up to its looks which was even better. \n\nIf you are in a rush I probably would not come here but if I was out with just my husband and no baby it is a lovely relaxed restaurant where I would love to have the time to linger and have many more of their amazing cocktails.

Eddie Rockets (Citywest)
Citywest Shopping Centre, Citywest Business Campus, West Dublin, Saggart, Dublin

I was here last Friday and it really hit the spot mmmm I had one of the red basket meals with two sliders and handful of chips as well as their chicken wings with BBQ sauce and of course a strawberry malt It was exactly what I wanted and everything was cooked to perfection. We were served by one of the friendliest waitresses who went out of her way to help other patrons. I have been here many times and I'm sure I will venture back many more :-)

Browns Barn Bar and Kitchen
Citywest Exit, Citywest Bridge N7, West Dublin, Saggart, Dublin

We ate here last Sunday when the carvery was on. I opted for the turkey but they had run out and were not going to put out a new piece even though there was still several hours left of them serving carvery??? I then opted for chicken tenders from the light bite menu as I don't really like other roast meats. When my dinner came out to say I could of hammered nails with the "Tenders" was about right. The garlic mayonnaise I got with them was congealed. I might try it again for an evening meal but will definitely not be back for their Sunday service. The only good thing was the service the lounge boy/waiter who took our order was so nice and helpful!

Yungs Restaurant
66 Georges Street Upper, South Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Yungs are doing a special midweek deal of only €18 (I think) for two courses well worth it as you get to pick whatever you want from the menu. Food is lovely, you get the same food at lunchtime for cheap and it's well worth it. The restaurant is small and initmate and the staff are lovely. I have eaten here many times and every evening I still want to go back
