I went here last week with 3 gal pals and the place was brill, Atmosphere great, Sitting arrangements not cramped at all, food gorg & wine delic. Staff where more than helpful recommending dishes as it was our first time for mexican food for some of us. The value was especially a pleaser at the end. LOVED the Chimichanga. Will definately be back and have since recommended it to friends.

I live in rathfarnham but if i go for a nice Fry i go to Matt the Rashers. Grew up close to it and have been a loyal customer since. Would defo recommend. They do a takeaway service and the food is to die for on those nasty hang over mornings. Prices are great in comparison to other places. Staff are courteous and service is quick.

Pacinos
18 Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Full 3 course dinner including 2 beer & 2 glasses of wine What a night! Dinner booked for a thursday night be prepared to move and see staff clearing up for the theatre show. Despite this ruining the atmosphere a little the dinner was magnificent. I had the chicken with mushroom sauce for the main (garlic bread starter), My husband had the lasagne (meetball starter) followed by apple pie and choclate cake deserts..... Was supremely stuffed. Service was slow as was really busy night which was expected. Price was roughly 75€ in total. They have a great early bird and will be back for that.

Il Segreto
13a/b Merrion Row, City Centre South, Dublin

Simple meal for 2 with a glass of wine each, we both had the lamb for the main and was cooked just right. The side was minimal & would have liked a bit more however it was enough to fill you. Sauce with the lamb was devine. Never had a sauce like it! mmmmmmm! Price was a tad on the upper scale but not overly pricey. Would recommend for a really nice special occasion.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I booked an early dinner for 2 and was pleasently surprised that the restaurant was busy despite this service was very high standard. The food was superb, I had the steak medium cooked and my husband had the same only well done. The flavour of the meat combined with the sides and the glass of wine each was a wonderful playground for the palette. The wine was reccomended by the waitor and couldn't have been more perfect to compliment the meal. Price was great too as we shared a dessert. Would recommend it with out hesitation.

Siam Thai (Rathfarnham)
Eden House, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin

great service - lovely food, plenty of parking. Had the full works - starter, main and desert with a bottle of wine. Food was very tasty and not overly cooked just right. it was quite when we got there as we got the early bird menu. The toal came to €82.00 - i know a tad pricey for an early bird but was worth it. The owner is lovely and the staff are very pleasant. Would love to go back - i just need a reason.

Out Of The Blue Bistro
Ballinatray, Courtown, Courtown, Wexford

Anniversary dinner : we went for the early bird menu dinner at 6 o'clock. We had a starter and main course each and a 1/4 bottle of the house wine each for €62.00 - some early bird. The wine was priced at 3.75 per bottle yet we where charged €5.00 per bottle. The starter was OK at best. The mains where steak and other was chicken. Neither came with veg on the plate so had to ask - when it finally arrived it was a few pieces of veg (which looked like they where dragged from the deep sea itself) served in a small bowl to be the veg for my husband and i. Whislt we found the Chicken & Steak to be nicely cooked the veg was less than average. Needless to say not the best dinner we have ever had. Shame really as we heard great things about the place. The service was quick and the staff where nice. The place was jam packed with others for the early bird. Would give them another try maybe not on bank hol weekend.

Taravie Hotel
Courtown Harbour, Courtown, Wexford

Was here for a last minute dinner decision. Was delighted by the friendly service. The food was fantastic and so plentiful we couldn't finish it all. The garlic mushroom starters where a sight to behold and a taste experience never before had. The mains where cooked to perfection with plenty of veg leaving absolutely no room for desert (and i love my sweet tooth) Would recommend with out hesitation. Can't wait to head back down to try out their lunch menu. Enjoy people.

Eden Bar & Lounge
Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin

My husband and i are local to the area and on the rare occasion we will go to the eden for sunday grub. The food is lovely (not much choice), they have a good kids menu with proper portions for both kids and adults alike. The price is a tad expensive but then again where isn't nowadays hence we don't make the trip too often but when we do we are always leaving there happy and full. I find the staff friendly can be difficult to get a drink at the bar when busy. Other than that i have no complaints. Will be back sometime but not anytime soon.

We had dinner here for an easy inexpensive girly night,we all had starters and main course and a bottle of wine between 4 and the cost of the meal came to 31 euro each (incl. tip). The food here is superb and the staff are brilliant. I have been here a few times in 2008 and it still remain a firm favourite betwwen me and the girlies. Would definately recommend it.

Herald and Devoy
Osprey Hotel and Spa, Devoy Quarter, Naas, Kildare

I was here on a girly weekend and as part of the package we got a dinner in mash. I have to say it was delicious. Most of use order steak off the menu and believe me i tried my best to finish it off but couldn't as we have starter appetiser, main course and dessert. Even though it was part of the package i would have more than paid for the meal again. Compliments to the staff in and out of the kitchen as they where not only friendly but extremely helpful and courteous. Would recommend it but if on a budget it is a no go.

Was in Indian Brasserie for my wedding anniversary dinner and the staff are extremely courteous and couldn't help us enough. First time having an Indian and loved the Buffet - great Value. Good selection of wine and not too pricey either. Would definately be back and i will for sure order through their takeaway service.
