I can only mirror what the last review says about Mitsuba. Also went with a Living social €20 for €50 voucher which is fantastic value. This little gem in the middle of a lot of 'cheaper' Asian restaurants on Parnell Street, is one that I will be recommending to others. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews about Mitsuba as my experience was second to none, 10/10. This place used to be an 'all you can eat' Chinese Buffet, but it has been completely revamped and thankfully so. We had sushi to start and it is the nicest I've had. Made fresh to order, for that alone I would go back. Had chicken teriakki for main and again it was fresh and plentiful. Staff we're hugely helpful and talked us through the whole menu. The voucher got me to the place with the hope that I would return, and their marketing work, I WILL BE BACK!!!!

I've been to this restaurant a few times but after last night I don't think I'll be returning. When we arrived we were shown to our table. It was downstairs through a few rooms and we were placed at the back table. The first thing we noticed was that our table was literally on front of a fire exit blocking it. The table beside us looked disgruntled and asked the waiter if they could order drinks now. A couple sat opposite us with no menu. We were given the menu and ordered our drinks straight away. When the waiter return with our drinks we gave him our food order. He wasn't the most pleasant of people! The table beside us still didn't receive their drinks asked to me moved. I noticed the couple opposite us still had not received a menu yet!!! We only ordered mains and after 45 minutes I asked a waiter how much longer our food would be. He wasn't too happy with my question and said he would find out, he never returned. 15 minutes later I asked our waiter if our food was ready, again he said he would check and he never returned. We were debating to leave, and just then our food came. They got our order wrong but he told them we did not want to wait any long. Again no apology. We finished our meal and the waiter came over and took our plates (without asking if we were finished). We asked for the bill and it was brought to our table and nothing was said. I asked to speak with the manager. When the manager came down he went to the wrong table and apologised to the WRONG TABLE! When he came back down again we came over to us and I explained everything that happened. He said he was very sorry and took 2 drinks off the bill. We were all very unhappy leaving and for somewhere so central and does nice food, I can't see myself returning unless I plan on spending the whole night there!!

Imperial Chinese
12A Wicklow Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Never again!!!! I ate here with a group of 30 people on Saturday. We were given 3 tables upstairs which was fine as we were such a big group and it was like we had our own section. When we arrive they took an order of drinks off us and gave us menus. We all decided to get set menus as we were such a large group. Once we had given our food order we were asked if we wanted more drinks. After that we were asked if we wanted more drinks and asked again and again and again. I must have had 5/6 drinks before anything arrived from the kitchen. We arrived at 8.30 and finally at 10.10 we were given TWO baskets of prawn crackers between 10 people! It was another 20 minutes after that when starters finally came out (and yes we were given another drink in that 20 mins). We were given 2 platters of small starters which lasted all of 3 minutes before everything was cleaned from the 2 trays. Our mains came out after some MORE drinks and it was just mediocre. Again 3 large platters and one small platter. The best was yet to come. After some more drinks and a lot of dizzy heads the bill came…. €73 EACH!!!!! I was shocked! Awful service, ok food and feel totally taken advantage of I give this place 0/10. I will not be returning and certainly will not recommend anyone to it. They will of course hear of my experience of the place!

Dillingers
47 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

I ate here with yesterday afternoon. The palce was full so we had to come back in 15 mins! And we could see why it was full, great atmosphere, lovely staff and great food. I don't know why the last review pointed out the chips as a bad point as I thought they were lovely with the bit of skin left on the edges. Interesting menu to choose from and plenty of variety. Would definitely reccommend this place and I will be going back!

Da Neros Trattoria
Seamus Ennis Road (Above Xtra Vision) , North Dublin, Dublin 11, Finglas, Dublin

Not happy with this place at all. We have eaten here a few times for lunch and we only go back as the food is quite good and resonable. The serivce is the Restaurant is a appalling! When we first ate here he had to wait a long time for our food enough though the place was half empty. We went again after this and we sat down at the table at 1.10pm and got our food at 1.50pm.... and that was only after we asked for it, and they even messed our order up. A few weeks ago I rang in advance so that we would get our meal just after we arrived, it took them 35 minutes before everyone got served. We went again today, and I booked in advance. We had all our food just after we got in which was great. However my friend always orders a chicken ceasar salad, extra chicken with chips and a coke. She has never paid the same price each time we went. She was charged €8.50 one time, and today she was charged €16.90... for a salad for lunch and she didn't even eat half of it!
