Tolteca is a small Mexican food chain restaurant that opened in 2011 The ingredients is completely fresh with your food being prepared in front of you and they buy their meat is sourced completely locally and are under the guidance of the Bord Bia quality assurance scheme. They sell salads, fajitas and tacos and burritos. This is defiantly somewhere to go if you would like to try something new, because there is not many burrito bars in Dublin. From my own experience this restaurant has a very welcoming staff and affordable for everyone who likes to adventure with food or just try something new. If I where to rate this restaurant it would be 4 out of 5, for the reasons above, but unfortunately it is not quite my cup of tea which I think is only up to you personal taste, although I can say it is something I do enjoy to have every once and a while. Eddie Rockets is an American 1950s style diner with many branches all over Ireland. The one in Dundrum also has a very popular ‘Shake Shop’ right beside it. I recently went to Eddie Rockets in Dundrum with some of my friends. We had just been out for a day of shopping and we all very tired and hungry. Even though it was very busy, we were quickly seated in a large booth and given the menus. Within about ten minutes, our waiter had come back and taken our order. Our meal was served about 15-20 minutes later, and it was very tasty. I had ordered the ‘itzy nachos’ and the ‘chicken sliders basket’. There was a perfect amount of cheese sauce on the nachos and they were nice and crispy, not soggy as other restaurants’ nachos tend to be. My sliders were still warm when I finished my starter, which was good as they had been brought out at the same time. The fries were very tasty. The chilli salt they sprinkle on top makes them even more enjoyable! I loved how they were nice and crispy, as I hate soggy chips! I also loved the chicken sliders, as the chicken was very tender. The miniature burger buns were toasted to perfection! I also shared a ‘perfect brownie’ with my friend. The delicious gooey brownie was topped with a thick layer of silky smooth melted chocolate and served with two large scoops of vanilla ice cream. We enjoyed every bite! My one complaint is that I asked for cheese sauce on the side of my sliders, but they did not bring it to my table. I was very happy with my meal. When we went to pay, our meal was not expensive and we were not kept waiting in a big queue at the till. We were all very satisfied. The food was good, it was reasonably cheap, the service was quick and the food was served with a smile. I love the atmosphere in Eddie Rockets and the slightly corny but fun 50s music. I also love the bright colour scheme and how the whole diner has the same style. I love how the menu matches the colour scheme of the diner and how there is a very wide range of meals to choose from. It was also a very enjoyable experience because it was freezing outside and Eddie Rockets was nice and warm. Altogether, me and my friends had a lovely time and a very tasty meal. I would definitely recommend it and I hope to be going back soon!

Nandos (Dundrum)
Sandyford Road, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Nanos is a restaurant suitable for people who enjoy chicken. A standard children's meal would cost around seven euro plus a drink if wanted. An adult meal has a price range of ten euro to twenty euro including a drink that can be refilled as much as you want! Nandos is a chicken restaurant with a choise of spice in each meal ranging from mild to extra hot. The price of Nandos is high but its all worth it in the amount of food you get. The unique flavours of the chicken makes this restaurant different to any other chicken restaurant. In my opinion I thought the food was delicious and I thought I got value for my money. Over all I would give this restaurant 8/10, I reducted marks due to the high price and the long wait to receive you food.
