Reviewed 10th July 2012 ( visited 08th July 2012 )Went with my friend on Sunday evening on a Menu Pages Deal. Neither of us had been before but we are already looking forward to our return visit !! Staff very friendly and welcoming and food delicious - save a little room for the Lemon Tart - superb !! Clientele seemed to be regulars which is a great sign - I hope to become a regular myself . Couldn't fault it and for the non- drivers it's less than five minutes from the Dart station so what's keeping you ?
Brasserie Sixty6 restaurant
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 21st July 2013 ( visited 10th July 2013 )Had an early 'swift lunch' here with a friend. Waiter very friendly and welcoming. Cool water offered straight away on this beautiful summers day. We both had Rotisserie chicken on Focaccia with chips - a lot of food for lunchtime but very tasty !!! Great choices on this great value lunch menu - well worth a visit !!
La Dolce Vita - The Chase
Carmanhall Road, Dublin 18, Sandyford, Dublin
This is a great place to eat when you have 'a gang' , a family outing, birthday , or just a group of friends who fancy a good night out, There is something on the menu for everyone: pasta, pizza, chicken, salmon. The early bird menu is great value offering two courses for under €20. Great for Sunday lunch too. Service is great and staff are unintrusive but totally attentive. Always happy to eat there,
The Halfway House
Walkinstown Road, Walkinstown, Dublin
The Halfway House has been on the go as long as I can remember but I had never been there until Friday last. A social gathering of 20 people, not an easy number to attend to but the staff were super efficient, friendly and attentive. In fact one member of the waiting staff informed us that he "got a great buzz" when the place was busy. He attended to us with smiles and patience. The place was quite busy and I noticed that nearly everyone was eating delicious plates of very nice looking food . As we were a considerable sized group we opted for platters ,all of which arrived with piping hot spring rolls, samosas, tenders, ribs, cocktail sausages and wedges accompanied by dips................delicious and the perfect thing to go with our early evening drinks !!! Will definitely return to sample their full menu. Not somewhere that might immediately come to mind to eat but try it out, you won't be disappointed.
Dunne And Crescenzi (South Frederick Street)
14-16 South Frederick Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
The tastiest paninis in Dublin if you're looking for a quick lunch. Authentic Italian dishes - not a chip in sight !!! Really good pasta dishes and excellent specials every day.Huge selection of wine also. Well worth a visit.
65 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin
Have had several meals here...... always the chicken wings to share - have not tasted better wings anywhere. To be honest have not had a bad meal and their Tempranillo wine is delicious and good value. I've never passed up an opportunity to visit. Can be very noisy when busy but that wouldn't put me off.
Mao Restaurant (Chatham Row)
2-3 Chatham Row, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I have eaten here often and have seldon been disappointed. Brought my two teenage nieces for lunch ( their first visit) we had the Pad Thai, Singapore Noodles and Chicken with Cashew Nut - all thoroughly enjoyed and spoken about since. A return visit is a promise !!! Good value for lunch, plenty of choice and decent portions .
94-96 Terenure Road, Dublin 6 , Terenure, Dublin
Ate here for the first time last night. Delicious food, great service , lovely room with intimate atmosphere, attentive and professional staff. Will definitely be back. A bonus that it's local too!!
103 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6, Terenure, Dublin
Have eaten here many times over the years as it is a local restaurant for me. Consistently good food, generous portions and plenty of choice (the Pollo Mario is a favourite of mine !) Staff are very friendly and attentive. Whether for a lazy lunch on Saturday or a good night out Marios does not disappoint.
92 Terenure Road North, Dublin 6W, Terenure, Dublin
Have been coming here for years and while there was an initial period after the major refurb when the food was not good and the number of diners dropped , I am delighted to say that things are very much back on track. The food is delicious - the pork belly being a favourite of mine. But compliments to the chef on every dish we have tried - never disappointed. The staff are extremely pleasant and it is nice to be remembered on return visits. Delighted to see that the restaurant is full most nights and there is always a great buzz. Well done !!
The Bank on College Green
20-22 College Green, City Centre South, Dublin
Packed because of the match so a bit hectic for a Saturday afternoon compared to other visits . Having said that the food does not disappoint. Well presented delicious food , good service and friendly staff. The noise of a match day won't put me off visiting again. Well worth a visit
Keshk Cafe Restaurant
71 Mespil Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
Best hummus in Dublin ! Wonderful selection of char grilled meats accompanied by salads and spiced potatoes ! BYOB and take your time choosing from a very well thought out and different menu - share if possible to try a variety of dishes. Desserts not great but the Arabian coffee is strong and a delicious end to the many meals I've enjoyed here. Looking forward to going back.
Toscana (Dun Laoghaire)
5 Windsor Terrace, South Co. Dublin , Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
I've been to Toscana several times and it never disappoints . Went with a group of 8 and had the lovely window seat upstairs overlooking the sea on a beautiful sunny day. Staff as ever - attentive and charming ! Food very tasty and plenty of it , great for sharing and ideal for families as plenty to choose from. We had several different starters and with mains including pasta, chicken, salmon and pizza , everyone was catered for. Have no reason not to return .
The Yellow House, Willbrook Road, Dublin 14, Rathfarnham, Dublin
Hadn't been before but will definitely return ! Very warm welcome and staff attentive all through the evening. Compliments to the chef as food was delicious and a little bit different. Wonderful flavours and so tasty. Lovely to have a restaurant of such high quality locally.
Bridge Bar and Bistro
The Malting Tower,, Grand Canal Quay, Dublin, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin
Had a pre theatre menu here and must say very nice food and good value. Very busy at that time so atmosphere a bit hectic and staff a little rushed - I realise they were trying to get people fed and out within a short timeframe but it all just felt a bit frantic. Having said that when you did have the attention of a waiter they were very welcoming and informative about the menu. Would definitely go back but later in the evening in a more relaxed environment !

Les Freres Jacques
74 Dame Street, Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
Hadn't been here in years and went on a Menu Pages Voucher - from the minute we arrived we enjoyed it , from the warm welcome, lovely atmosphere, very friendly and efficient staff and most of all - delicious food !! Chilled beetroot soup was a great start on a hot summer night followed by ratatouille on brioche , steak and chips with a blue cheese sauce and a delightful dessert - exotic fruit bavarois. Apart from choosing salmon for her main my friend opted for the same. Neither of us were disappointed and as there was no rush we sat chatting late into the evening. With great value and exquisite food on offer we will definitely be back soon !!!
109a Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
A first time for both my friend and I and a very special treat. Staff trained to the highest standard of professionalism while at the same time being friendly and engaging. The dining room gave the feeling that you were in an exclusive club with partially panelled walls, sunny yellow paint and a fabulously vibrant piece of art on the wall. Food allowed tastes and flavours to tantalise the taste buds - the pork terrine was delicious but the harissa carrots lacked a little heat , the steak was disappointingly tough (even though mine was medium and my friends medium/rare both seemed very dry on the outside - not juicy and plump as was expected) but the flavours of the accompaniments on the plate were exquisite , to end we both had the dessert simply named 'raspberry' and my oh my what an understatement - arguably one of the best desserts ever. Overall a fantastic experience.
