Have to agree with the comments made below. We went for the earlybird menu which was €20 for starter, main and a glass of wine. I went for the springrolls (ok) and the Chicken Cashew Nut, which was lovely. The Thai carackers for nibblers are delicious and as mentioned, the sauces are incredible. The service was extremly friendly and offered recommendaions and advice on which items to pick. The only negative, which is a minisclue complaint in comparsion to the meal and service, was that it is very hard to see what you r eating with the lack of lighting. All in all a very enjoyable meal and I will most definitely go back. Great Value

Went here two days ago for lunch. Got the mile high sadwich on tomato Bread. Without doubt one of the best sambos I have ever got. Absolutely huge. At €7.25 it is on the rather pricy side for a sandwich but highly recommend. Nice location aswel and great for a sit in lunch.

Hard Rock Cafe
12 Fleet Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I went here last week to grab a bite to eat. We were then handed a bleeper and told to wait downstairs for up to 40 minutes even though, to our view, the place was pretty empty. I ordered one of the BBQ burgers on the menu. In my opinion I though the quality of meat used did not justify the €18 price tag on what I received. Value for money is not something that would spring to mind when Hard Rock is mentioned and that was most certainly confirmed here

Boojum
Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I was there the other day at around lunch time and as mentioned previously, be prepared to queue its that busy. I got the chicken tortilla with lime rice and pinto beans with all the trimmings. In my opinion is tough to find a better place to get a burrito than Boojum and is well worth the trak no mater where you are in Dublin. Student value deal is also a major plus. Staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Just dont wear a white shirt

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Booked a meal in Salamanca using the Menupages deal. Usually when people rave about a place your always dissapointed, not with Salamanca. Have to say one of the best meals I have had had in a long time. We went with the patats bravas, chorizo pawns, chicken in white wine sauce and the fish paella. We were like a kid at christmas trying everything and very difficult to find which was our favourite dish. Service was friendly and fast given how incredibly busy the restaraunt is. Would definitely recommend and am definielty returning

The Bailey Cafe Bar
Barrack Street,, Wexford, Enniscorthy, Wexford

Stopped here for lunch whilst passing through Enniscorty. They have a number of specials on in terms of lunch aso I decided to go for the soup and a panini for €10. The soup is lovely here every time I have had it and the mexican chicken wrap, which wasnt too spicey, was just the right quanity. If one doesnt get the deal the panini comes with chips. Again a small thing that many other restauraunts fail to do or in otherwise would charge you. My firend got the tuna wrap, said it was lovely. All in all a very enjoyable lunch and would recommend it for anyone passing throughe the town

The Alamo Restaurant@ The Riverside Park Hotel
The Promenade, Enniscorthy, Wexford

We were seated ina rather dark corner of the restauraunt upon arrival. I understand what they are trying to do in terms of asthetics and all that but when you cant really see what your eating its kind of annoying. I went for the mushrooms and the spare ribs amd my friend went for the lasagne and nachos. The portions are massive for both starters and mains. Food was nice but quite rich in terms of the sauces they use. I went for the side of mash potatoes and vegetable which in all honesty was some of the best mash potatoes I have ever had. The Bill came to around €22 (without drinks) which is great value for the quantity of food recieved. Nice restauranunt and the staff friendly

Mongolian Barbeque
7 Anglesea Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

havin stumbled accross this restaraunt on menupages I was dying to try it out. I left here feeling that the mogolian barbacue had failed to live up to some of the reviews posted. The novelty of the barbacue itself is a real attraction but where I felt it was let down was i the food itself. Having gone for the two course meal I found the meats not to be of great quality and unless you lace your food multipe garnishes I found the food to be quite mundane despite the sauces added and spices. The staff were extremly friendly and the barbacue itself is a unique selling point which i am pretty sure I have never seen anywhere else certainly in dublin but I just felt it fell short of expectations.

Milano (Grand Canal Harbour)
Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Have been here for both lunch and dinner. Have to say that I have left rather unfulfilled. I got the bruchetta with monster buffao. When it arrived it was no bigger than a biscuit. The pizzas are quite nice but Milanos only offer a thin or thinner pizza which one would still be hungry after. No option for a thicker base. The location for Milanos is great especially when going to thr Grand canal Theatre and the staff are quite friendly

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Had heard al lot of good things about cactus jacks and was dying to try it. I have to say found it immensly enjoyable. We arrived without a booking so there was a small waiting time but nothing to major. We then ordered the platter to share for starter and the chicken fajits to share for mains. Thought the platter was lovely with its mix of quesidallas, wings and potato skins. the fajitas were lovely aswel. Real toss up between here and my other favourite.

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I visted here about 2 weeks ago for lunch. Have to say it was one of the best lunches I have had in a long time and reasonably priced. The staff I found were very friendly. the only negative I could find was having to eat on such small tables and chairs but other than that highly recommend for both lunch and dinner
