Had a work lunch here recently and have to say service was amazing from start to finish. From the time of our 1st enquiry to paying the bill staff were so friendly and efficient and will to work with our budget. Food was fantastic, great selection no problem catering for different dietary requirements, and one thing that I think is also important in a restaurant is toilet facilities and their facilities are spotless and lovely. Definitely would go back again

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Dropped in for a late lunch. Food was lovely and service was very good too. Only slight fault was that it was quite cold sitting downstairs, not sure if that was just because it wasn't busy.

Avenue by Nick Munier
1 Crow Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Really enjoyed our visit from the minute we arrived. Such pleasant staff. We were availing of the early bird and as I'm pregnant needed some of the ingredients and style of cooking adjusted, was no issue at all and staff went out of their way to ensure all was ok. Food was fabulous, really enjoyed it. Such a relaxed atmosphere too. Looking forward to our next visit

The Mint Leaf Swords

We used an online deal. Excellent value will go back again but staff need to be a bit more attentive

Strand Tavern
Duncannon, New Ross, Wexford

Have visited Duncannon a few times and each time have eaten in The Stand Tavern. Owners and staff are lovely and you are always made feel like a local. Food is fantastic. Last time we were there, they had an offer 3 course meal for 2 people with bottle of wine for €60. Huge portions so you certainly won’t go hungry

Chameleon Restaurant
1 Lower Fownes Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

It was a spur of the moment decision to grab a bite to eat and one of the group suggested Chameleon Restaurant – lovely setting, a little gem of a place. To be honest the menu confused us a bit and we had to ask the waiting staff a few times to explain to us (thank god they were lovely and very patient with us ? ) we eventually got to grips with menu and ordered food. I can’t fault it, everything we tried was fantastic. I was a bit weary that it was coming out served like tapas and that you would get a sample of different things but it worked so well and we were all stuffed. There were four of us and they gave plenty of everything so that we all got enough to enjoy. Will definitely be going back for a visit

Crowes
10 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Went into Crowes in New Years day after Leinster game, so thought we wouldn't get food in the bar but we were lucky. Barman explained we could be waiting a bit as the kitchen was busy with upstairs food orders, but we were happy to wait. Staff very friendly was impressed that after ordering 1 round they knew it 2nd time we ordered and the pub was packed. Ordered just chicken goujons and chips and we were pleasantly surprised how quick we got them. It may have been juts goujons and chips but they were really good proper chicken goujons huge portions. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area looking for cheap pub grub and good service - this is the place

Cinnamon Garden Restaurant
Main Street, Ashbourne, Above Molly's Pub, Ashbourne, Meath

Went here for a friend’s birthday - 7 in the group and it was fab. From the minute we entered the restaurant we were looked after so well, we had told them it was a birthday meal when booking and they had a banner on the wall, balloons and a birthday badge for the birthday girl. Their specials are amazing value and we were allowed order different deals, we all didn’t have to stick to the one deal. The food was amazing not one person in the group had a complaint - Nicest Indian food I've had in a long time, it has to be one of the best dining out experience I've had in a long time. They do not scrimp on portions, quality or service just because it’s their special offers. I don’t live in Ashbourne but will definitely being take a trip back out

Masterson's Steakhouse & Wine Bar
17 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Went for the early bird last night with 3 friends and loved it from the time we got there. Staff are very friendly and attentive without being in your face. The early bird menu is such good value and the portions are good sized portions not tiny ones to suit the low price. 3 had the chicken wings YUMMY and one had the hot beef salad for starters and we all had steak for mains. All very satisfied customers, will definitely be going back again especially after seeing the steak on the stone coming out. The only small thing was we were waiting a long time on our starters but it was worth the wait. Probably one of the best value early birds around

Dunbrody House Arthurstown
Arthurstown, New Ross, Wexford

Myself and two friends decided to treat ourselves to the lunch special €35 pp 3 course in Dunbrody House to finish off our weekend away. The hotel itself is so lovely and from the minute you arrive you feel relaxed, lovely gardens to stroll around. We were greeted in the bar by the hostess who took our coats and offered us drinks, menus were also given to us while we enjoyed our drinks in the bar, they took our orders at our table in the bar and then shortly after walked us to our table in the restaurant, the restaurant is styled to suit the old style of the hotel with lovely vies out to the garden. Food was really enjoyable between us we had, ham hook foie gras, salad and soup for starters, mains we had pork belly, beef and monkfish & scampi, dessert we all had the triple layer chocolate gateaux. Starters and main course were lovely and plenty of food, baby boiled potatoes were served separately in small copper pots on the table, the dessert were divine, pure heaven. We all really enjoyed the food especially the desserts but I was expecting a bit more. I have had just as nice and nicer in some restaurants but it’s definitely worth a visit as the staff look after you so well without being over bearing.

Milano (Baggot Street)
1 - 2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

I would go here a fair bit with the work crowd for lunch and really do like it. The food is alway fabulous always has great offers between the 12.50 lunch or the regular 2 for 1 deals. The only problem I find is at times its hard to get the staffs attention. From going a fair bit we know now to request the bill when ordering coffees as you could be waiting up to 20 mins for the bill. The staff are lovely and friendly but just at times forget about some of their customers. The coffee is very strong all coffees are double shots. Will continue going.

Pier House Restaurant
Inis Mor Island, Inis Mor, Galway

Was staying over night on the island and went to Pier House restaurant for dinner with my friend OMG one of the nicest meals I've had -couldn't complain about anything. The food was fab we had chowder for starters and it was the nicest chowder I've ever had a lovely tomato based chowder, main course were both fab, ther service was very good the staff so friendly and the atmosphere and surrondings were just right. Think the prices are very reasonable - looking forward to going back again.

Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Popped in here on a Thursday evening and was delighted to see an early bird menu all evening. Service was very good, food presentation and taste was fantastic - good wine selection and nice atmosphere. Only thing our table was right beside the cooking area so when they were clearing crockery etc it got a bit noisy at times but will defo be going back again

La Cave
28 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went with a work crowd for the early bird. Tables quite squashed and the whole place is in need of updating. Not 100% able to answers questions in relation to the menu and weren't to fussed about finding somebody who could answer the questions. Food was lovely but very small portions. Not willing to accommodate customers dietary requirements. I know we went for the early bird menu but one of the group couldn’t eat any of the starters and they wouldn't allow her an alternative option. Was quite disappointed overall with the restaurant.

Cape Greko (Malahide)
Unit 1 First Floor, New Street, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

went here on a work night out and was quite disappointed. I ordered the steak med to well and it came back very well done and very dry, I asked for plain vegetables without any sauce and was told that the only choice was deep fried cauliflower fritter or bacon and peas mix very poor. The best thing for me was the choice of wine they have fabulous new Zealand wine on their menu. don't think I'll rush back. a bit over priced too

Stoop Your Head
Harbour Road, Skerries, Skerries, Dublin

All I can say is OH MY GOD, everything about this place is fab. I ate recently with a friend and although I can't remember the name of the fish we had it was the nicest meal I had had in a long time, it was just cooked to perfection; big portions of everything. Staff were extremely friendly and service was just as good as the food. Although you can't book a table there's plenty to keep you occupied while waiting. Well worth the visit.

profile_review

Blue Cafe Bar
Harbour Road Skerries, Skerries, Dublin

Have eaten here a couple of times with a friend and have to say the food is fab but the service isn't great. Although they are friendly once they have taken your order it’s hard to get their attention again. I will go back but hope the service improves. The food is fab.

Thai Orchid (Dublin)
7 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had read the reviews and heard great stories but was disappointed on my visit. I ordered the fish cakes for starters and they were so greasy, small and tasteless. Main course was ok but then dessert; you could only get banana fritters or ice cream or both together. Won't be rushing back.

profile_review

Siam Thai (Andrews Street)
14/15 Andrews Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I visited this Siam Thai recently with friends and have to say it was fab. The food was wonderful, staff and service was good - would recommend it.

profile_review

OKA Restaurant
Northwood Demense, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Went here with a group of friends and although the food was nice it certainly wasn't the best Chinese meal I've had. It was a group of ten and near the end of the night they allowed three people to order a bottle of wine between them and when the rest of us tried to order drinks they told us it was too late no more orders and they stood over my friends while they drank their wine.

profile_review

Diep le Shaker
55 Pembroke Lane, (Off Pembroke Street), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I have to say a fab restaurant. Food was fantastic, wine was fantastic, service was fantastic the menu’s are a bit pricey but you pay for what you get and that was top class in all areas. Will definitely be going back

profile_review

Dobbins Restaurant
15 Stephen Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Was back here at the end of February and have to save it was fab as always - we were having a girlie lunch and were allowed take our time at the table. Food was fab service was top class - can't complain about it. Haven't been in the evenings yet someday! I've been here a number of times for lunch with work before and after they renovated and I've loved every visit - staff are always so lovely - will definitely be going back again. It would be nice if they change the set lunch menu every now and again. The set lunch menu is excellent value. It’s a place you go to when not in a rush.

Pink Elephant
Mains Court, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

food is lovely, staff are pleasant, can't fault it, well worth a visit

profile_review

Silks Chinese Restaurant
5 The Mall , Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

My friends adore this place but I have to say not my favourite, been twice and was quite ill after both visits so won’t be going back - nobody else in my party was so obviously whatever they use for cooking doesn't agree with me. Found the service very poor 6 times I had to ask for a glass of water and when I ordered tea after my dinner the teapot they brought out was so dirty, cracked and chipped it was disgraceful.

profile_review

Oscar Taylor Restaurant
Island View Hotel, Coast Road, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

I really like this restaurant - Food is generally top class but they have had a few slip up - have been many a time and find that the staff generally are very friendly and helpful. Need to change their menus. But will definitely go back

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

My first visit I thought wow fantastic but I've been a couple of times since and it didn't live up to what I experienced the first time. My last visit I found serving staff very rude, unprofessional and untrained. I raised the issues I had with the head waiter and in fairness he was very helpful, spoke to the staff to rectify the situation and they were from one extreme to the other - they became overly friendly in a sarcastic way and the head waiter noticed this without anything having to be said - service improved and we were given complimentary drinks for our troubles. The food is lovely.

Chilli Shaker Indian Restaurant
River Mall, 32-36 Main Street, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Ate in Chilli Shaker Friday night and thought it was lovely. The staff were very friendly even though at times they didn't understand what we were saying and at times they were too eager to serve us. I like to be left to enjoy my meal and the company I'm with and not have to worry about telling the waiting staff 100 times that everything is fine. Even with this the visit was very pleasant, food was lovely and nice selection of wines, Mind you I had looked at the website before going and it had lists of different cocktails, beers etc but when we arrived at the restaurant I asked for the cocktail menu and they didn't have one but told me if I told them what I wanted in my cocktail they would make it for me. BUT we were left to sit at out table and enjoy the food and drink and there was no rush to leave the restaurant and we were given two complimentary drinks. I thought the prices were average. – I will definitely go back – well worth a visit.

Chilli Banana
112 Upper Drumcondra Road, North Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin

I found the food and service her very good was a bit pricey but it suited us - a group of 14 and we could all easily talk to each other staff were very attentive and food was very good. Don’t mind paying a bit extra when the food and service is good.

Indie Spice Grill

This restaurant is superb - food is fantastic and the staff and service is exceptional. Top Marks. The only problem I had was remembering the step at the toilets after a few drinks!!!

profile_review

Millers Pizza Kitchens
50 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

I hadn’t been to Millers for a long time as the last couple of times service has been pretty bad. A friend wanted to go so we went for lunch. A bit disappointed that they don’t do any decent lunch offers considering all the competition in the area. On arrival (to a pretty empty restaurant) there was no smile and friendly welcome just a not so pleasant waitress who shrugged towards a table that we could sit at and then came over and just dumped the menus on the table. Considering it wasn’t that busy we were left waiting a long time for our food. Food was lovely but such a shame staff aren’t professional and pleasant as it really turns people off going back.
