I couldn't fault this restaurant! I'd been looking to try here for a while but only got around to it a week or two ago. I'd heard it was good but I wasn't expecting it to be superb! Our waitress was lovely and attentive. We went for the early bird, which was excellent value, especially considering the quality and size of the portions. I came out raving about the naan bread which tasted real, not like the standard pear shaped stuff you get in a packet, or a take away! I'd highly recommend the minced lamb dish or my boyfriend had the prawn jalfrezi which he loved! Will definitely be making a return visit!

quite possibly one of the nicest restautants I've been too! I had the pho with chicken and it was beauttiful!! a great restaurant to go to for an informal lunch or dinner with friends. Only thing I wasn't mad on was the cafeteria style tables but the staff managed to serve everyone efficiently! an absolute must visit!! Highly reccommeded! one of the few places where you can taste the freshness!

Octopussy Seafood Tapas
7 West Pier, Dublin 13, Howth, Dublin

Went to Octopussy last night. I'd heard from a few people that it was good but the recommendations were an understatement! It was amazing! Went for the €20.10 offer which entails 3 tapas dishes, a glass of wine and dessert. My boyfriend had the same so we shared everything! meant we had six different dishes, and two different desserts!. the food was so lovely and its prepared in front of you. The portions are also decent sizes as well, especially the whitebait. Only quibble I had was the lack of tables but the food more than made up for it! I will definitely be going back!

Zaytoon (Parliament Street)
14/15 Parliament Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Decided to try Zaytoon after a great night at dylan moran and don't regret it! A good end to a great night! I've never had a kebab before but the lamb donner meal was not only great value but it was delicious! The flat bread was just perfect and the lamb was lovely! I'd really recommend it to anyone for a pre or after theatre dinner or for that late night snack! Fantastic place, really recommend it!

Swai Restaurant
Unit B, The Campshires, North Wall Quay, City Centre North, Dublin

Dined at Swai for a celebratory meal. I couldn't fault the place for atmosphere: low light with river views. We were the only people in the place bar three but it didn't seem to matter-if more people had been there it wouldn't have had that brilliant ambiance! The service was attentive and the food was excellent! However, it seemed as if it(the food!) was missing something, though I can't put my finger on it! The crispy pancakes with ren dang sauce were gorgeous and the sea bass I had was perfect! Everyone else was happy enough too. Only fault I'd have is that none of the meals were served together, the first two came and it was 5 mins before the next batch etc. All in all, I'd recommend Swai but I don't know if I'd go back!

The Summit Inn
Howth Summit, Howth, Dublin

living in howth, the summit is a regular place for lunch! Its not the cheapest but its always nice! The wings are really nice and chowder and wedges is the best hangover cure!! The service is never the best but the food more than makes up for it!! only thing I wouldn't recommend would be the nachos or the desserts!

The Oar House Fish Restaurant
8 West Pier, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Howth!! The food is fabulous and so memorable! only downside is the price-for a meal for two(two mains) with a soft drink each and one tea at the end it came to over 40e. Being a fish eater at home, I know it wasn't good value, there was may be 15e worth of fish between us. However, its impossible to fault the tastiness of the food-the haddock with plum sauce is one of the most memorable things I've ever eaten! Highly recommend it if your looking for a nice food night out!

Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

Have been here once or twice before and it had been okay, but the last time I was here it turned me off going back. I ordered the spinach pasta which I had had before and was lovely but this time, the cream and butter in the sauce was burnt and was impossible to eat. My boyfriend's burger and chips was actually quite nice but I had to send mine back. The waiter was lovely and very apologetic and fetched me a replacement of fish cakes which was nice but however it was on the bill instead of the pasta. Would hesitate to return.

The Upper Deck duplicate
Harbour Road, Above the Waterside Pub, Howth, Dublin

El paso is generally a good bet for a quick dinner, food always comes out fast! its always generally nice too! however, hadn't been there for a while(about 4 months) and shocked at how much the prices had gone up by-it was 17.70e for a chicken caesar salad as a main course!!! The food we had was as always gorgeous, nicest buffalo wings around, the only down side was the price...just a little too expensive!!!! Service was brilliant though maybe two waiters would have made things run smoother!

The House
4 Main Street, West Dublin, Howth, Dublin

This place is a real treasure. It's very nicely laid out, especially love the sofas as the centre piece. The food is excellent, everyone has to try the chicken and apple sausages, one of the nicest things i've tasted in a long time. The wine list is decent too, maybe a little expensive but I got a very nice glass of Italian red for only 6.10e. Definitely worth a shot if not for dinner, if not for dinner try the brunch! Only thing I would criticise would be the prices, you do get decent enough portions but the prices on first glance do appear steep.

Golden Elephant Restaurant
Sutton Cross Shopping Centre, North Dublin, Sutton, Dublin

The food here is always gorgeous and it can be very quiet which is good, the food makes up for the lack of back ground noise. The Peking duck is excellent, as are the various sweet and sours! Its definitely worth a try and it does a take away!! The service is a little over zealous tho, checking if we're okay every five mins was a bit much!
