We had an absolutely beautiful meal here. I had hake which was delicious and my dinner date had a fillet steak which he is still talking about. Highly recommended.

Have eaten here before and been happy but recently was very surprised at the poor food we were served. I had chicken fajitas. The chicken tasted stewed rather than freshly fried and the sauce it was in was more like some sort of bland casserole than a mexican sauce. My dinner date had a mediocre burger. Maybe it was an off day but it's not cheap so we will be back for their beer and wine but probably not to eat!

Ciao Bella Roma
24/25 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

The 10 euro lunch deal with a glass of wine is such good value. I had brushetta to start, it had nice fresh tomatoes and mozzarella. Then I had the pepperoni pizza, absolutely delicious pizza, with the crust crispy and the meat sliced thin and well grilled, the way I like it. I don't know what this place is like in the evening but would highly recommend it for a leisurely lunch.

The Tolka House
Glasnevin, Glasnevin, Dublin

Have eaten here plenty of times and although I preferred the old menu, the food is generally good. This was a Saturday afternoon visit on a sunny day and the place was busy with a communion party. I had fish and chips and my dinner date had the burger. All very tasty, the fish was really soft and fresh. food wise the usual high standard.

Da Neros Trattoria
Seamus Ennis Road (Above Xtra Vision) , North Dublin, Dublin 11, Finglas, Dublin

Unfortunately this place never seems to get busy, or buzzing. I've never seen it that way anyway. As a result the service is sometimes a little overbearing - quick to whip your plate away and multiple staff checking on on you. But the food is decent and good value and they do an excellent pizza.

The Willows Pub
74 Willow Park Crescent, Glasnevin, Dublin

The Willows can get quite full and often there's kids legging it around, which isn't comfortable if you're there without kids, but probably grand if you brought some. But the food is always high quality, from the menu or the carvery and it's great value.
