I was in the Clarion's Hotel Restaurant a couple of years ago, it was good, but nothing comparable with Augustines. This is the second time I've gone for dinner here and if in the first night I was impressed, the second night was even better. My friend wanted to go with dinner a la carte and I wanted to do the tasting menu. As we couldn't do it as the speed of serving would have being different she decided to try the tasting menu. The reason why she didn’t go for the tasting menu in the first place was that she wouldn’t go personally for some of the dishes but after the second dish ...she totally love it! I really think that it’s just the best experience of flavour combination that you can get. No doubt this is the best restaurant in Cork, and after trying a couple of “good” restaurants in Dublin, I can definitely say that Augustines is one of the top restaurants in Ireland.

Les Freres Jacques
74 Dame Street, Dublin City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I went to this restaurant recommended by a friend. Foodwise the restaurant was good overall, but not as good as I expected for the price on the menu. Service was good and atmosphere ok but you have to be careful with the table they give you, otherwise you'll be sitting in front of the entrance.
