Really enjoyed our meal - kids delighted with their pizzas! Maybe a little 'less authentic' than our last visit when everyone working there was actually Italian but the waitresses were very pleasant! Will definitely go again- ( also notice they do take away! Result!!)

Marcel's
13 Merrion Row , City Centre South, Dublin

A real gem of a discovery hidden in Ballsbridge - definitely worth another visit. My only criticism would be our waitress, I fully understand, that she may well have been working all day, and we were the 9.30 sitting... However I find it inexcusable to ever interrupt people when they are, quite obviously, mid conversation - she was almost insisting on talking through us to be heard.... Grrrr! Luckily the maître d was delightful and could not have been anymore attentive. Next time we'll remember to order sides! Looking forward to our next visit!

Unicorn
12b Merrion Court, Merrion Row, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Delighted to report a double thumbs up for the new and vastly improved Unicorn - under new italian management! Lovely menu - not too many choices which I think is a good thing! Gluten free options are clearly marked. Will definitely look out for 'offers' but even without it I thought this was good value for money.

Ciao Bella Roma
24/25 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I usually love the atmosphere and good here but quite disappointed at most recent visit. Waitress couldn't get us out quick enough - to the point of clearing our starter plates before one of the adults had even finished hers! Also very disappointed that no 'child ' starter alternative was available - they could easily have offered a gelato instead of the bruschetta for kids - especially as we needed up paying 12.50 for one of ours who only had a pizza - no starter and no wine. So value for adults is good but not good at all for kids.

Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Just back in from a great lunch with the kids in Thunder Road. Haven't been here for years but we're all delighted with our afternoon out. Hubby swears it's the best burger he's had in any place in Dublin for years which says a lot! Hugely impressed! Staff were great, delighted to have rediscovered it and we'll definitely be back
