I have visited the Siam Thai in Malahide and therefore had high expectations for this restaurant - and it sure lived up to them! The early bird here - 2 courses for €21 is worth visiting Dundrum for all on its own! It is so tasty - I always have the three flavour duck - YUM and my boyfriend the massaman curry and we have never had a better Thai anywhere. The layout and atmosphere is what you would expect from a restaurant charging twice the price. Excellent restaurant!

Lemongrass (Liffey Valley)
Arc Bar, Liffey Valley Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Came here with the girls from work - we often eat in Liffey Valley but there is quite little to choose if you aren't a fan of fast food!! I was however very impressed by this restaurant - as I have passed by it so many times and never noticed it!! The early bird was a great deal and the food was extremely tasty and I will be back!!

Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This restaurant is one of the nicest in Dublin City Centre!! The Early Bird makes it very reasonably priced and the food is just YUMMY!! The service was excellent and although it is quite small and cramped I felt it added to the atmosphere!! Will defo be back!!

Delhi Darbar (Celbridge)
Main Street, Above Village Inn, Celbridge, Kildare

This is by far the most FANTASTIC Indian restaurants I have ever visited! It was recommended to me by an Indian I know and I am still thanking him for his recommendation!! The Korma here is the most amazing creamy Korma I have ever had!! This restaurant is a must!! Also the service and atmosphere are great - but really it's all aboutt he food!!

The Oyster Grill Restaurant
Hotel Meyrick, Eyre Square, Galway City, Galway

As we were staying in the hotel we were initiled to a meall int his restaurant. The service was fantastic and the menu seemed very good - as it was a set menu. However, overall the food was not to the standard of a four star hotel. It was bland and I hate to say it - but a little boring.

Johnnie Fox's Pub
Glencullen, Dublin Mountains, Glencullen, Dublin

Recently I visited this pub on a sunny Sunday evening. The pub was busy when we arrived - but mainly with people drinking, quite few eating. We were seated in about 5 minutes which at the time I was delighted with. However, I am very sorry to say that is the end of my positive comments. The service we recieved was ABYSMAL. The waitress managed to forget to come back for our orders, forget to bring down drinks (we had to order at the bar), and managed to forget half of the food ordered. I would in some way understand if the pub was extrememly busy as when we arrived but this was completely down to the waitress herself, as the sun had gone down at this stage and the pub was substantially quieter. I feel it is important to mention the food was beautiful (when it all arrived) but was not enough to ever make me go back for food. Needless to say there was no tip on this visit but I was very close to making a complaint to the manager. Unfortunately, the party I was with were in a hurry and I didn't get an opportunity to make a formal complaint. I WILL NEVER BE BACK unless it's for a few drinks!

The Bradaun Restaurant @ Leixlip House Hotel
Leixlip, Leixlip, Kildare

I ahve visited here a few times. Once I had a very bad experience with the service but i was probably due to it being Valentines weekend. Overall a great restaurant and a lovely laid back feel!!

Mohana
Main Street, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

From the street this restaurant did not look like anything to write home about as it is located over a pub. However, the atmosphere inside was much better than antcipated. The staff were friendly and chatty. The food was very good. I ordered the balti and although it said medium spiciness was very mild. However, it was still nice. They have half bottles of wine on special which I felt was a nice idea as a full bottle over dinner can be a lot! Overall a good spot!

Arc Cafe Bar
Liffey Vallley Shopping Centre, Fonthill Rd, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

This is a lovely alternative tot he fast food restaurants in Liffey Valley. The food is of a much better standard the regular pub food and the atmosphere during the week is chilled out as it is quiet enough - but at the weekends beware it is full of families with young children out for the day. This means it can be a noisy place!

Bombay Palace
10 College Street, Killarney, Killarney, Kerry

Whenever I go to Killarney I make a stop here. The food is excellent and up with the best Inidian I have ever had. The service is very good. The decor is not the best you will find but the food makes up for it!

Larkin's Bar & Restaurant
JKL Street, Edenderry, Offaly

This is an average pub grub restaurant. The menu is very restricted and can be quite pricey for what you get. The atmosphere is usually quiet bordering dead and the food can also be quite bland depending on the day.

An Granuaile Restaurant
Main Street, Kinnegad, Westmeath

Granuaille serves the best breakfast around! Their full Irish keeps my brother and father full until the evening time - which is no easy job!! Its is a massive meal and very good value for money. Their breakfast is by far their best value meal as the lunch menu is quite expensive for what you are getting.

The Lily Garden
St. Mary's Road, Edenderry, Offaly

This is one of the nices restaurants I have ever visited. The food is great. The atmosphere is very authentic and they have an excellent early bird menu which they recently extended to all night on weekdays. The best food in the town

Kelly's Foundry Grillhouse
Portlaoise Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, Laois

Was staying at Portlaoise Heritage Hotel, and a three course meal here was included.Initially thought it looked more like a very modern disco with tables and chairs around. But quickly realised this may have been more due tot he age of teh restaurant goers. We were here for 2 hours and didn't see anybody over 40! But the food was FANTASTIC!! Nachos to start which were perfect for sharing as they were a massive portion and one of the most tender steaks I have ever had for the main course. My one reservation I had about the meal was that the death by chocolate sundae was too big after the amazing starter and main course so I couldn't finish it all - and when it tasted as nice as it did this really was upsetting. I'm already trying to come up with a reason tor return!

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I try to visit this restaurant as often as I can! It NEVER disappoints!! I always try to order something different and am always impressed! Their chicken pasta is one of my favourites - yum! But the one thing I always order is the toblerone cheesecake!! Absolutely scrumptious!! I ordered a full cake from the restaurant for a party recently and it was a big winner!! The only criticism I would have is that it can be very busy so you need to book in advance.
