Chai Yo restaurant
100 Lower Baggot street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 15th December 2008 ( visited 12th December 2008 )I went here with work colleagues for a team lunch and it was fantastic! We were the only people in the restaurant because it was a 3pm booking but it still had an atmosphere. We were at one of the Teppan yaki tables, this was my first time at this and I loved it. The chef was brilliant, very entertaining and the food was to die for! Would definitely go back and definitely recommend it to friends.
Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 31st October 2007 ( visited 30th October 2007 )Was in Eden for the first time last night, had the early bird menu which wasn't very extensive but had something for everyone. The food was nice and the service was very good, very efficient. I was there with a friend for her birthday, I didn't mention this but the waitress overheard part of our conversation and for dessert she brought my friend's dessert over with a candle and happy birthday written on her plate, this was such a nice touch and very thoughtful. I'm sure I'll go back.
Harrys Kitchen Restaurant
22, Dawson Street, Dublin
This was our first time in Harrys and it was delicious. We had a voucher so the value was unbelievable. The food itself was incredibly tasty. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be back
21 Upper Merrion Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin
This wasn't just a restaurant, this was an experience! The service is absolutely second to none and the food some of the nicest I've ever tasted! I will definitely sample their €50 lunch menu. I wouldn't pay this for a lunch ordinarily but this is no ordinary restaurant.
La Caverna Restaurant & Wine Bar
12 Fownes Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
I went here with 3 friends last night for the early bird. One of the diners had been here before and recommended it. Unfortunately, it was a big let down. I ordered caesar salad for starters which wasn't great at all. 3 of us ordered steaks meduim, they were a bit more on the well done side and extremely tough. The other diner order lasagne which was passable. The service was good, staff were friendly but as it got busier it slowed down a lot. This could have been an off night based on other reviewers but I probably wont be going back
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I went here for the early bird and really enjoyed it. The selection was good and each dish was also available on the main menu. I had friend brie to start which was lovely, although the berry compote was a bit too sharp for my taste, and sea bass for main which was delicious. All my party enjoyed their food, would definitely go back
Chatham Street, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here with 3 friends for the value menu, and it was very good value. All 4 of us were happy with our food. I had risotto to start which was a bit bland, although i had steak for my main which was very tasty. 2 courses for 2 people and a bottle of wine for €45 is excellent value, more people should avail of this
FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin
Fire did not disappoint! I was here last with 3 friends, we went on my recommendation so the pressure was on! I have been here a few times so I knew it nice. We had the early which is some of the best value in town. Most definitely worth a visit if you havent been before. The decor is lovely and staff are extremely friendly
The Porterhouse (Parliament Street)
Parliament Street le Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin
WONT BE BACK.....I went here with my boyfriend on Saturday, we had some food which was okay, but I dont think I'll be returning to the Porterhouse any time soon. I ordered a large glass of white wine and to my astonishment it was €7.50, I'm pretty sure the bottle only cost about €5. In the present climate, (actually under any circumstances) this is a complete rip off. I would have gone here on occasion but as I said before, this has put me right off the place! Unless they decide to stop ripping people off, I wont be back
Thai Garden Restaurant
Church Avenue, Blanchardstown Village, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin
My family went here for the Early Bird yesterday and it was excellent value, the food was gorgeous!
New Tin Tin
7 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
I've been here a few times and will go again but its bassically just a takeaway you can eat it and its nice for what you get. Dont expect gourmet cuisine but still nice for takeaway.

Toss'd Noodles & Salads
Chq Building, Dublin Docklands, City Centre North, Dublin
I order the Thai Red Curry and it was the nicest curry I've ever tasty! I recently had a not great experience with a recommended Thai restaurant but this place restored my tastebuds. I was waiting about 20 minutes which is a lot during a lunch hour but it was most definitely worth it. I'll order from here to take home with me too! Would definitely recommend it!
Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
I went here last night with my boyfriend, I cashed in some of menupoints for the €25 voucher, brilliant value! I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Its very tasty food, huge portions, good atmosphere! I will be back....again!
Cafe en Seine
39 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin
I had my christmas party in Cafe En Seine on Friday night, order their combo and veggie platters and they were surprisingly tasty. I've had platters elsewhere and they were just grease on a tray. Not too bad for a Friday night party
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin
I went to Koh with my boyfriend last night, specifically for the early bird. He is a big lover of Thai food and I have to say this did not impress. The setting is lovely and I'm sure on a Friday or Saturday night its buzzing. We received our menus and they didn't include the early bird special, I had to ask for this from the waiter. I had read some really good reports about this place but I was disappointed, it was mediocre at best. It's not somewhere I would recommend, there are nicer Thai restaurants around who also do early birds.
3A Talbot Place, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin
I have eaten here a couple of times and think it is a mediocre restaurant. My friends ordered a the sizzling dish which was €13.95 but had to pay an extra €2.75 for noddles which I did think was unreasonable, the dish was purely meat and veg, someon is hardly going to eat that on its own. I wont be going back in a hurry
Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin
I came here with friends last night because of the superb early bird value, and nobody was dissapointed. 2 courses of nice food and a glass of wine for €13, very hard to beat.
Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
Great early bird selection, possiby one of the largest I've seen. Busy atmosphere, however the table are a little too close together but that's not really a big deal. Will definitely go back.

Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here last night and it was packed which was great for a Tuesday night. No surprise we had the chicken wings to start and they were delish! We each had burgers, good homemade burgers made just the way you want! The service was also very good. All in all, quite happy for a Tuesday night's dining!
22 Ely Place, (Just off St. Stephen’s Green), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I went to Ely on Saturday night for a friend's birthday and after hearing all the rave reviews about it, was left bitterly disappointed. We were upstairs as we were a party of 6 and there was very little atmosphere. I could have dealt with this if the food was up to stratch!! My starter, beef carpaccio was completely lacking in taste, the mussels weren't warm, my main which was chicken, was fine, nothing special. My friend did have a nice duck salad starter. We had to pay the standard service charge as we were a party of 6, it came to €31, I really dont think the staff we deserving of this. Our waitress did the requisite amount for her job but that was about it, not friendly in any way! I wouldn't recommend this place or will I be going back!
10 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I went for the early bird with a friend, it was absolutely delicious, I had the sweet potato soup for the starters and an incredible chicken dish. It wasn't as busy as I have seen it before but still very nice. The staff were in no hurry to get out of the restaruant which was a refreshing change from some places I've eaten. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, we couldn't find any flaws!
