Jamie's Italian
Pembroke District, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14 , Dundrum, Dublin

Lunch time midweek was busy. We had a tasty pasta dish. It was very good, tasty. The staff were busy. Hard to relax. But the food was good but expensive.

The Merrion Inn Bar & Kitchen
188 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I had Pan Fried Hake (c)served on a black pudding & chorizo potato cake, red pepper coulis, fresh broccoli. Well the potato cake was as hard as a rock. The food has gone down hill. They have lost there way in fresh tasty food.

The Garden Cafe @ Avoca Mount Usher Gardens
Mount Usher Gardens, Ashford (off N11), Ashford, Wicklow

Lovely on a summers day, very busy. The choice is good and the food fresh. The soup of the day tasty and unusual, the salads and breads fresh daily. A bit pricy buy worth it. Nice place to bring overseas visitors.

Brewers Dining Hall @ The Guinness Storehouse
St James's Gate, City Centre South, Dublin

It's Ireland most visited tourist locations. It's a great venue, plenty of space, friendly staff, great atmosphere. The food is well prepared and displayed. Great choice, It great quality and value for money. Unfortunately the gravy I had was way to salty. I hope it wasn't done on purpose to make you drink major. This is well worth a visit if you want to be a tourist for a day.

The Garden House
Back Road,, Malahide, Dublin

Beautiful building for a care. A brunch menu on the Saturday we visited with a very limited choice. But what the do the do very very well. The fresh cakes are scrumptious. The staff work as a team cutting waiting time to a minimum. Highly recommend.

Mao (Stillorgan)
Lower Kilmacud Road, Stillorgan, Dublin, Stillorgan, Dublin

The food was the finest, good choice. Bit pricey, the tin top tables not the best. The cement floor ugly. A screaming baby didn't help the atmosphere. It was a Friday night so busy but the service good.

Johnnie Fox's Pub
Glencullen, Dublin Mountains, Glencullen, Dublin

It's been. Many years since we had a meal here. A lot of pubs spent. Millions being done. Up in the last decade and a lot closed down. Well Johnnie foxes has stayed the same ( for the better). The fish pie was superb, they now sell more than fish. The prices reasonable. Good service. Still the sawdust and the dirty car park out back.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Food was fabulous, the staff friendly, cooking on the stone a great gimmick, good choice on menu, no children's menu a let down, if you have to look at the prices beware it all adds up. Great lunch.

The Counter Suffolk Street
20 Suffolk Street, City Centre South, Dublin

The burgers are great , you have to build the burger , this takes time, then you have to wait 20-30 minutes before it arrives, you are told they take time. The staff are helpful. It's worth the wait. It's expensive but worth it.

The Stillorgan Orchard
1 The Hill, Stillorgan, Stillorgan, Dublin

Great value for money, food tasty & well presented. Not fond of microwaving deserts. Destroys the pastry. Staff very efficient and friendly. Good choice on menu for lunch. The stage a bit of an eye soar but they have to fill the place & make some money.

Eddie Rockets (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Unit K (cinema block), Level 2M, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

ED on a Wednesday afternoon was quiet, it's the in place for kids at weekends but not on W. the service was poor, staff had no interest in customers. The burger was dry ( over cooked) , the chips not great. The metal milk shake holder looked scruffy. Cool place pity about the food.

Siam Thai (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Got a great table at the window. The food was superb. I loved the duck. Crispy and succulent. The starters are very small and overpriced. It was a Sunday It's a very busy restaurant but the staff were friendly and charming. I enjoyed this experience.

Global Cuisine
Unit 2.1, Dundrum Shopping Centre Dundrum, Dundrum, Dublin

Great choice of food but the service and noise was terrible. Very Hard to relax with everyone coming & going to the self service. Staff grabbing empty plates off tables constantly. The music was to loud. Yet the food was well cooked and displayed. You should plan what your going to eat and resist filling your plate with to much. Beware drinks are extra but you can top up free.

Wicklow Gaol Cafe
Kilmantin Hill, Wicklow Town, Wicklow

Great setting, the food was surprisingly good. The service was excellent. Prices were OK. The inside was wonderful but the outside cafe was a letdown. The wooden benches were dirty and rickety. It needs some imagination. Having a radio on was not in keeping with the atmosphere. Brilliant for kids. Could do with more healthy food for kids.

The Bridge Tavern
Bridge Street, Wicklow Town, Wicklow

Average food, deep friend chips & fish, above average prices for what you get. The court yard is a great space but needs a good clean. The staff were OK. Bit noisy with the noise of traffic & kids. Could do better.

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great large room with warm & friendly Staff. The menu gives a fine choice. The food was delicious. The peach starter was a delight. My young son was treated so well and his chicken was cooked to perfection, he cleared his plate. Value for money.
