I only go here after a night out so the food may be different during the day but I find it expensive and the food just OK. The staff need to remember that not everyone is drunk and willing to eat anything that is thrown at them.
Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I have been here a number of time and the food is always great, there is a great atmosphere in the restaurant in the evening. If you are about town at lunch time they do a super lunch menu for €10 which is great value.

Al Boschetto
2 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Ballsbridge, Dublin
Nothing great about this place, we had an average meal for the usual high prices of Ballsbridge. I had pizza which was just about average but other shad the pasta which was fairly small and again just average, There are alot better options in Ballabridge for your money,

Joels Restaurant
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin
One of the best places for lunch if you are in the N7 area.

Kites
15/17 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
I was in Kites for lunch, its a nice place with nice food, I would recommend it for lunch.

Eddie Rockets (Terenure)
Terenure Road East, South Dublin, Terenure, Dublin
I always find this Eddies fairly chilly, they do not keep the door to the back kitchen closed and draft is always in the place. As for the food its what you expect from Eddies but just over priced when you consider the amount of quality burger places about these days.

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar

The Egg Cafe (Avoca Rathcoole)
Naas Road, Rathcoole, Dublin
Very good quality food but would be a bit expensive if you were to go here to often but it is good!!!!!

Anvil Bistro Restaurant
Saggart Village, Dublin 22, Saggart, Dublin
I can have nothing but complements for this place, i have been 2 or 3 time over the past month with colleagues and there has never been a complaint. Some may say it is a little pricey but I really do not mind paying for decent food and service which is what you get here

Kielys of Donnybrook
22 Donnybrook Road, Donnybrook, Dublin
This is a nice place for meeting up with friends, the food is nice and the atmosphere is always good too.

The Tower Bar & Bistro
The Waterside House Hotel, North Co. Dublin , Donabate, Dublin
This is very hit a miss, I have eaten here on many different times. I find that once the restaurant is busy or if the hotel is have a wedding reception the bar food gets worse. I eat here when I am in Donabate out of a lack of options but I would find it hard to recommend as one day the food is super but another day it could be very poor!
