I've eaten in The Gables a number of times previously and have always been happy with it. This time we went for a family brunch. My other half order the full breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed. I order the Spanish omelette. Unfortunately, even though it was very tasty, it was a very small portion size (which cost €10) so I was left feeling very hungry afterwards. Otherwise, we were very happy with our brunch and will be returning again (I'll just order something different!)

Dillingers
47 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

Totally overpriced and very little choice on the menu. Were seated on high stools in a very cramped corner, and the bill was outrageous for what we got. In fairness to the staff they gave a good service.

Bistro Le Monde
Unit 2,, Harbour Sq, Crofton Rd, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

This restaurant is definitely worth a try. The menu has a variety of choices to suit all tastes. I had the beef bourgignon which was absolutely delicious! The kids had pizzas which were very tasty and had a lovely thin base. Very good value too. My advice - bring the family to Travel Cafe!

Cafe 31
Old Bray Road, Cabinteely, Dublin

Overall we were very happy with our meal at Cafe 31. The menu is lovely with a good variety to suit all tastes for casual dining. The kids menu offers a great choice also. All 5 of us enjoyed our food meals! We couldn't fault the service - the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.

The Gables
McCabes Wines, The Gables, 1 Torquay Road, Dublin 18 , Foxrock, Dublin

I couldn't fault our visit to the Gables last Sunday for Mothers' Day. Food was delicious and there was also a great kids menu to keep the little ones happy. The service was excellent and we got great value - 2 courses for €19.99 and half price bottles of wine! We'll definitely be returning.

Casa Pasta (Clontarf)
55 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Lovely meal and very friendly staff. Will definitely return. I was there with 3 other friends last night. I had the mushroom and tarragon soup to start which was delicious, followed by a sweet chilli prawn stir fry which was also very tasty. We all enjoyed our meal and we couldn't fault the waiting staff for their attention and friendliness. There were just a few other tables there at the same time, but that's to be expected on a Monday night.

Chi Asian Restaurant
9 Georges Avenue, Blackrock, Dublin

Really enjoyed our meal in Chi last night. Food was super and service excellent. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. We even got a free drink of our choice at the end of the night. Who could ask for more?!

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Had a great night last night in Koh. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and there was a great atmosphere there. I'll definitely go back. I also like the fact that they have tables with booths too.

Thai Garden Restaurant
Church Avenue, Blanchardstown Village, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Went to the Thai Garden for the first time last night. There was a very good atmosphere and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. They have a very extensive menu so there's plenty to choose from. 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 soft drinks, and 2 coffees came to almost €60 which wasn't bad. I'll definitely go back in the near future!

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went to Saba for lunch. The food was excellent!! We had a starter and a main course from the set menu. The service was very good too. The food came very quickly, almost too quickly (!) but I can't complain. When I saw the main course, I thought the portion sizes were a bit small, but honestly we were both full when we'd finished (and we do have large appetites normally). Overall, I'd say that's it's a nice casual place to have lunch, and the food is super tasty.

Picasso Restaurant
1 Vernon Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin

I would never go to this restaurant again. The service was terrible. They were rushing us for no apparent reason. Then they gave us the bill without us asking for it. My food was quite nice, although my 2 friends didn't enjoy theirs very much. For what we got, the prices were too high.

E Scent
Coach House, Ballinteer Avenue, South Dublin, Ballinteer, Dublin

I won't be going back to this restaurant. I went on a Thursday night and it was fairly empty. The food was OK although I only got 3 king prawns in my Prawn Thai curry which was very disappointing. And for €22.50 (if I remember correctly) that's extremely poor value.

For Sunday lunch, you couldn't get better. Superb food, superb atmosphere and service, and excellent value for money!

The food is excellent and service quite good. The place itself has a lovely atmosphere. I will go back again soon!
