Met a foodie friend for dinner here in August and the food was great, we shared a Tuscan Brushetta and my friend had the Beef in Chianti and I had the Sicilan Prawns. The Prawns were fab! Good friendly service, we will be back and I would recommend a glass of the Twiggy red wine, delicious!

Sophie's
33 Harcourt Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

This place is on top of the Dean Hotel with a fantastic view of the city. We rocked up without a reservation on a Friday evening as we were just looking for an impromptu pizza. There were no tables available, this place gets pretty booked up but the hosts are friendly and we were offered a seat at the bar. We ordered drinks and pizza. The pizza here is extremely good and the bar tender is friendly. We stayed for another drink and the left. Sophie\'s is a great little place, for longer stays they also have a rooftop bar.

SkinFlint
19 Crane Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Thought we would pop in on a Friday evening for something cheap and cheerful. I didn\'t feel it was either. The waiters were very friendly, but zipping around the place as if under staffed and we were fogotten about. We shared a Garlic Mozza Panuzzo and Suzi+ pizza, both had too much cheese, but were very reasonably priced for Dublin city. My Irish craft cider however was not reasonably priced at €7.25. Very expensive. They forgot about the crust dip which is not the end of the world, but I couldn\'t get anyone attention to ask them for it and nobody came over to see how we were once the food arrive. I think what bugs me most about this place is the fact that nothing has been done to the decor since it use to be a Chineese Restaurant. The decor hasn\'t changed except the tables and chairs and for a pizza restaurant its very dark inside, dull and drab with not much atmosphere. I can\'t see myself coming back, there are better places to go on Dame street.

Ginos
The Apple Market, John Street, Waterford City, Waterford

Best place in Waterford for Pizza and you can get a great Ice Cream also. We ordered a sneaky prosecco with our Pizzas. Staff are very friendly and the services was prompt.

Pyg Restaurant
Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, South William Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Popped in to Pygmalion in the Powercourt Townhouse Cnt for a bit of Brunch with my other half and the service and the food was good. I ordered the Avocado on toast with poched eggs and the other half ordered the full Irish Breakfast. Prices are very reasonable for the location and I would also recommend the coffee!

Chapter One Restaurant
18/19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

My boyfriend brough me here for my Birthday treat and it was a great experience with excellent food!! I thought the service was definitely more relaxed than Patrick Guilbaud\'s but excellent none the less. We had the four course Dinner menu with a beautiful bottle of Amarone della Vapolicella, chosen by the semillon. The tapioca is delicious but my favorite was the Fish, I think it was was halibut. The flavors where just beautiful and the richness of the food leaves you feeling full and satisfied! A wonderful experience all around.

Bistro Bianconi
The Italian Quarter, Tobergla Lane, Sligo Town, Sligo

While in Sligo for the weekend, we decided Italian was on the menu after stumbling across this lovely little place down a side street. \nIts dark and moody inside, lit with floor lamps and candles which give what is quite a large restaurant an intimate and cozy feel and very romantic. \nThe service was excellent and the food was very tasty. We ordered from the early bird menu, I had a pasta dish while my partner had the steak. I would recommend both. We finished with the Gelato and the Raspberry & White Chocolate Cheese Cake. Both were very tasty.\n\nLovely place overall and I\'d definitely recommend this one.

The Blueberry Tea Room
Castle Street, The Diamond, Donegal Town, Donegal

Great little cafe, had Lunch in here and the food was delicious so much so we ended up taking away about 5 cakes and a coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful. definitely stop off here only your way through Donegal town. its a lovely spot.

La Boheme
2 George Street, Waterford City, Waterford

Loved this place! La Boheme is in a basement with vaulted ceilings and this just adds to the atmosphere. Its very romantic and a great place for date night or a special occasion. We walked in and didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night and they found a place for us. For starters we ordered a Trilogy Crab and Salmon and the Pork Belly. The Trilogy was a bit disappointing, the crab dish only tasted of cheese. The Pork Belly was tasty but the skin did taste slightly charred. For Mains we ordered the Monkfish and the Hake, both where absolutely delicious. we finished by sharing a desert I can't remember the name, but was very tasty. I would recommend this place the staff were so helpful.

Waterford Castle - The Munster Room
The Island, Waterford City, Waterford

Went here for Afternoon tea and it was lovely classic selections of cakes and sandwiches and a good selections of herbal teas, which is my preference. there is also the option of prosecco or a cocktail. The services is wonderful, they make you feel very special and explain everything perfectly. The waiters where non obtrusive, but very watchful. Water was filled up without the need to ask. there was no rush and you could stay there all day if you wished! The surroundings of the Munster room are beautiful, a great place for Afternoon tea! I'll be back here again!

Zaragoza
South William St., Dublin , South William Street, Dublin

Popped in here without a reservation on a Thursday night in June and was pleasantly surprised. Its one of those places I've been meaning to go and I'll definitely be back! The Services was fantastic! The services is very good and the food was delicious. I'd have to say the best tapas I've had in Dublin! Only downside is the price! They are very expensive as tapas go! I've had Tapas & Pinchos many time in different parts of Spain and they are so cheep, I don't understand how they need to be so expensive over here! And that goes for all Tapas restaurants. this one just happens to be the most expensive one I've been to, but I'm sure I'll be back.

Pablo Picante - Clarendon Market
4 Clarendon Market, Between Clarendon Row & South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I've been eating here for a few years now and I love the burritos. Came again on Friday night to enjoy another Carnitas with Guacamole, topped off with a ginger beer, Yum! The food is fresh and tastes great! The burritos are huge and its the best place for a meal under €10! Best burrito house in Dublin!!

Greedy Goose
15 Townyard Lane, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

Went here for a romantic dinner, Hadn't been before so I was excited to try it. The service is extremely good! The waiting staff are very attentive and I love the decor, but more a casual dinning experience. I like the Idea of the tasting menus whereby you pick 3 dishes from one menu, kinda like tapas, but there just wasn't enough food! More so for my boyfriend than I. We both had the Thai Fish Cakes, they where fantastic! Then he had the Chicken Satay Skewers and I had the Mexican quesadillas. The Chicken Satay Skewers where very small. the quesadillas is a good choice, its more filling. He had the Beef slider for his 3rd option which he thought was exceptionally tasty and I had the Fish & Chips. Everything tasted great, lovely flavors and I was satisfied with my meal, but he still felt hungry, which is a shame. Good selection of wine and tea's on the menu. Great selections of desert although we didn't indulge. We both agreed that we would definitely go back but maybe order more food next time.

Castello Bruno

I have been here a few times and the services is always great. The waiters are so friendly and the food is fab! Great Casual Dining especially on a sunny day out on the terrace! last time I was here was July 2016 just grabbing a pizza for lunch with my niece on a sunny day, the service and food did not disappoint! Great Place!

Cliff Townhouse
22 St Stephens Green, Dublin 2, St Stephens Green, Dublin

I was here for Lunch in October 2014 for a business meeting & the menu is a dream for fish lovers! The menu is mostly sea food. I had the Scallops with Pork Belly for starters & the fish pie for Mains. the food was delicious. There wasn't many in the restaurant so the atmosphere wasn't much & there was a long wait on being served & the Main course, but all in all the service wasn't bad.

La Mere Zou
22 St Stephens Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

I went here for a 3 course lunch today with a friend & the food was fantastic. We both had the Chicken Parfait for starters, I had the Hake for main & my friend had the Venison for main, both dishes where cooked beautifully and the presentation was very good. I had the carrot cake for desert & my friend had the Cheese board. We asked the waiter to suggest a good full bodied red wine & we loved the wine he suggested. The service was second to none. It was reasonably priced & great value for money!

La Palma Ristorante Italiano
Parnell st, Waterford, Waterford City, Waterford

I was down in Waterford for a few days & decided to buy a voucher for the tasting menu. I was very impressed with not only the fantastic food, but the service too. The waiters where extremely helpful and very friendly. We had the Beetroot & goats cheese salad followed by the butternut squash risotto pared with Prosecco & a lovely white wine, then a sorbet to clear the palate. The next course was pork belly with a Montepulciano wine & desert was a very tasty panna cotta. the quality of the food was fantastic, very fresh, very tasty. I will be back here. it was a real treat! And I would recommend this restaurant to anyone popping down to Waterford for a weekend! well worth a visit!

Jamie's Italian
Pembroke District, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14 , Dundrum, Dublin

I went here in early May 2014 with a date & the service was fantastic, falling over you to help & very quick. I had the Calamari to start and the Rabbit for main course. all cooked perfectly. we where a wee bit too long waiting on the main, but I didn't really notice the time go. Its a casual restaurant we very good food and service and reasonably priced. I will be going back again.

The Green Hen
33 Exchequer street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here yesterday for a work lunch and it was nice, the lunch menu was great value @ 3 course for €19 or 2 for €17. I do find that nearly €8 for a glass of wine is too expensive. The food was good, about 4 out of the 7 of us ordered the special which was the pork plate, but as the other 3 where able to clear their plates, my pork was very fatty. I also there wasn't enough with the pork, it came with a very tiny portion of potatoes. I would go back, but maybe choose something different off the menu.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I went here with 2 of my girlfriends for the early bird. I have been here before a few years ago when it first opened and I have always found the food top notch!! This time was no exception, the food is fab here, but the menu is limited. It was a special occasion and we were going to order a sparkling wine, but there were none on the menu. I got the veggie burger which was a lovely change (It doesn't have a bun) and both my friends got the beef burgers. The other criticism I would have was our waitress. The service has always been very efficient in here but our waitress I think was having an off day. Although she was very efficient, we found her abrupt and rude; we had to have a word with the manager. The atmosphere was a bit dead when we arrived, but we were the only people there so not surprised, this place was hopping when we left about 7:30 and the atmosphere then was buzzing!

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

I have been eating here since it was called La Terrazza, the name changed but not the quality of the food or the fantastic service. I went here with a friend last month and we loved it, we sat in the Piano bar area and the atmosphere was great we were serenaded by the Pianist. The service is very friendly and there is always someone there when you need them. We ordered a glass of Italian wine with starters and Pizza & a Salad for mains and shared, I love the Pizza's here the ingredients are so fresh and the base is think a really crispy. we finished with coffee's and really enjoyed ourselves. I'll be back here soon and I think my friend has already been back with her boyfriend!

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

The Sushi from this place is second to none, defo the best in Dublin!! Although a bit pricy, it is totally worth it! I met some friends here on a cold January night and the atmosphere was buzzing. We ordered a selection of Sushi to share for starters. The Chefs Selection and my favourite Californian Roll’s. There was plenty here for 4 people. We ordered a selection of salads and sides & the Tempura Haddock for mains all again to share. Service was very fast (Healthy Fast Food, Yum) and very friendly. In fairness I use to frequent this place very regularly a few years ago for lunch and it’s never failed me! Great place, especially if you are a novice to sushi or Japanese food as the staff are so helpful with the menu. I also noticed that they have everything on their menu calorie counted, which is great! .

Copper & Spices Restaurant & Wine Bar
Ludlow Street, Navan, Meath

Went to Copper & Spice for the early Bird on Sunday and at €17 for 2 course it was a bargain, the food is delicious, much nicer than your average Indian, I started with the veggie samosa and had chicken tikka masala for mains, yum yum! How come I haven't heard about this place before!!! I will be back here!

Kitchen
3 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Booked a table for 2 here for Dinner last night with a Menupages voucher and I can't rave about the place enough. When we went arrived there was only 2 other people in the place, but it had a wonderful atmosphere and very cosy. The waiter was delightful and gave us some fantastic recommendations for wine and food. The Food was absolutely delicious. I had the crab cakes for starter and the monkfish red coconut curry for mains and the panacotta for desert, all delicious. Nothing bad to say about the place, just a fantastic experience around. I will definitely be back!

Gilbert & Wright Dun Laoghaire
128 Lwr Georges St, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

It was a Sunday afternoon so the place was quite, which suited us fine. I love the deco in this place, it like sitting in your granny's sitting room with the lights dimmed. It is very comfortable, but as a place to eat, I wouldn't recommend it. The only problem is the food. For a pub they only serve an Asia fusion menu and it’s not great value. We only got the platter for two, which consisted of 4 bites each with dips, but this was €11. And the presentation was terrible; the server came with an open takeaway box! No plates. I think this place would be better off just being a good pub and leave out the food altogether.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen - GBK (South William Street)
14 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I love these Restaurants and I've been to this one about 3 times before. They are very friendly and the food is very good. Value for money is very good and usually the service is excellent, but this night it wasn't especially busy even thought it was Culture Night, but I did notice that we were forgotten about. Other where served before us that came in after us and that gets to me. Still a 4 out of 5 and the Falafel burger is a winner!

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for dinner with a group of Colleagues and I have to say I really liked this place. The Food was perfect. I am a very fussy "Blue" Fillet Steak eater and I asked for it Blue and it was Blue. It sounds like a simple thing and it should be, but it’s not and actually most restaurants get it very wrong. Only issue was I asked for a side of veg and got a salad instead, but that’s about the only bad thing I can say for the place. Oh that and they kept running out of things like beer. The service and food where very good and I will definitely be back again.
