We've eaten here quite a few times over the last number of years but possibly not in the last 6 months so we were delighted to see the menu has changed. Popped in last night for a light bite before the storm so it was a little quieter than usual. Service was excellent, mussels in white wine were delicious as was the risotto. Cheese plate (€14.95) was very good with a selection of 5/6 generous portions of delicious & tasty cheese.

Ate here with friends and as always not disappointed. I possibly prefer it at lunch time or early evening.

Mulberry Garden
Mulberry Lane, (directly behind the Bang & Olufsen Store), Dublin 4, Donnybrook, Dublin

Dined here with another couple. Food very average, trying to be adventurous but not getting flavours and tastes right particularly with the starter of Cured and Scorched Mackeral and service was poor bordering on rude. Definitely not recommend it.

Hartley's Restaurant
1 Harbour Road, South Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

My husband and I had a very pleasant evening here in August. The weather was superb so as it was early evening we ate outside warmed by the heated lamps on the patio area. We could have been in the South of France as the harbour was full of sailing boats. We opted for a set / early bird menu which was excellent value and very good quality of food (Calamari particularly good). As it cooled we moved into the bar area for our desserts and coffees where live music was to be found.

Popped up to The Gables spontaneously for a casual bite to eat and a glass of wine a few Fridays ago. There was a lovely atmosphere with live music and some people just having a glass of wine or beer at the bar. Although they offered an Early Bird menu all evening we opted for A la Carte which was very good quality and still very good value. We have also gone here for a weekend Brunch a number of times and it is very pleasant.

Las Tapas
Old Bray Road,, Cabinteely Village, South Dublin, Cabinteely, Dublin

Booked Las Tapas for a group of 14 ladies. It was a convenient location for everyone and felt it would be good value option instead of going for dinner. Big Mistake! It worked out at 50 euro a head including tip. The food was very poor and very little of it. I had calamaris which were not fresh. Portions were small. Everyone ordered 2-3 dishes ranging in price from €5-6.25 each and house wine ranging in price from €18-19. We will not be returning.
