Have been here on a number of occasions and its a little gem, the food is all from this area in Italy so you get lovely meats and cheeses. I have to say that the service is really friendly and its probably the best value in town. Its a great spot for meeting friends over a few glasses of wine or coffee and having some treats to eat. The one thing to remember is that they dont do main courses its more of a deli.

Went for lunch with a friend and had Eel sushi which wasnt great, the salmon and Avacdo was really nice and fresh but the eel wasnt great at all. We also had the Prawn in bread crumbs and it was ok. Service was quick. Not as good as last time I was there.

Millers Pizza Kitchens
50 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here and really didnt enjoy the food. I got the Crispy Serrano and there was way too much ricotta it killed the other flavours and the salad on top was extremely overdressed. My boyfriend had the Roast Garlic Seafood Pizza and althought the prawns were beautifully cooked once again the salad on top was over dressed and limp. Also the smoked mackerel was embedded in the base and very over powering. We didnt even finish half of each pizza and when the waitress came to collect them she never even asked if everything was ok even though each plate was full off food. An experience that left both our tummys rumbling and I definitely wont be in a hurry to return. Its also very tight squeeze so you can feel like you are on top of people. The surprising thing is I have been here for lunch and had a much better experience funny that as you would expect the reverse esp as we were there during work so didnt have much time.

Canal Bank Cafe
146 Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Went here with my boyfriend and we shared the Chicken wings and they were so yummy, I had a disappointing omlette that was probably the worst I have ever had my boyfirend had a beef burger that was way too rare and they forgot a portion of chips. I would highly recommend the chicken wings are they were to die for. If went again would get the chicken wings and then one of the other starters for a main.

ely gastro bar
Grand Canal Square, (Next to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre), Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Went with a group of friends after work and two of the guys had the Shanks and pint for €18 which was really tender and portion sizes were good. Myself and one of the girls had the mini burger for 4.95 and fries to share. The burger was just divine and as we only wanted something small it was just enough though it is very small portion so be aware. The food is nice but still think its on the pricey side for what you get as it is pub grub after all.

Hop House / Kimchi
160 Parnell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

This is my third time coming here and its just a little gem, the first two time had the chicken and veg dumplings which are just divine and had a beef dish and a chicken dish all really good. Last night we had the chicken Dumplings and then shared a sushi platter which was so good the fish was all fresh and tender and plenty on the plate for us to share. The portions are a great size and its always busy. Value for money is brilliant we had 9 beers, 3 starters, sushi and a seafood dish that was spicy and hot. The bill call to €91 definitely worth trying out.
