Used to be a favourite haunt of mine and returned recently for the first time in 4 years. I wasn't disappointed....the food was as enjoyable as ever and the service was infallible. Just soem fo the reaons I assume this restaurant is still doing a thriving business and long may it last. Intend to visit again this weekend and looking forward to it already.

Gourmet Food Parlour Swords
Unit 2 St Fintans, North Street, Swords, Swords, Dublin

May seem expensive for a lunchtime sandwich but you pay for what you get here - gorgeous ciabbatas! So fresh and combinations are something different to other Swords eateries. Highly recommend for sit in or takeaway.

Strand Bar
Main Street, Rush, Co Dublin, Rush, Dublin

Recommend for pub grub or carvey food. Big portions, served by polite staff at a good price. A wide range of desserts too!

Sopranos Ristorante Italiano
Main Street (Above Michael Collins Pub), Rush, Rush, Dublin

Used to frequent a lot but the food and service have gone downhill. Ever time we giv eit one last chance, it disappoints. Even the takeaway was a disaster with the wrong order given and no apology or replacement offered. Sorry Sopranos but you're off the menu!

Bombay Bistro
55, Main Street, Rush, Rush, Dublin

Very enjoyable as takeaway or sit in. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Allow at least 40mins for takeaway orders (and that's if you're collecting yourself).

Pink Elephant
Mains Court, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Good food, great service and an enjoyable atmosphere - what more can I say. Menu divided into spicy, non-spicy and noodle dishes making it easy to order, especially if you're not accustomed to Thai food.

Pasta Pizza
54 Strand Street, Skerries, Dublin

Nice as a takeaway. A bit cramped for eating in. A bit overpriced for pasta and pizza and menu hasnt' changed in years.

Tarragon Restaurant
24 Strand Street, Skerries, Dublin

Food was beautiful - quality not quantity seems to be the approach. It was reasonably priced at approximately €50 for 4 courses and wine. The beer was quite steep at €7 a pint. Unfortunately the service let the experience down a little but hopefully this will improve with time no doubt with more training and confidence.
