Another great meal had at Yamamori! I love the buzz in the dining room and always come away happy. This time round we shared the Ebi Gyoza to start; lovely little bite-sized dumplings that really tasted of prawn. My wok fried Monkfish main could be my new Yamamori favourite. I loved the crispy fried fish, the sweet teriyaki sauce and the fresh rocket beneath. The bill came to €54 for 2 beers, 1 starter and 2 mains. I will definately be back, and probably back and back!

Itsa @ Dun Laoghaire (Bagel Store)
The Pavilion, Royal Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

This is a great place to grab a bite if you need something quick but fancy something a little bit interesting. My "Kind Veggie" bagel today was bursting with flavour and freshly prepared in minutes. They also have a good range of ice creams, smoothies and juices - definately go for the smoothies and not the coffee!!

Talavera Restaurant
Radisson Blu, St Helen's Hotel, Stillorgan Road, Stillorgan, Dublin

We enjoyed a good value meal here at the weekend. The restaurant itself is a little dated but the staff were friendly and chatty. We ordered from their set menu and couldn't argue with the price. My tomato and mozzarella starter was generous and creamy. The lamb main course was bursting with flavour and accompanied by plenty of veg. My chocolate dessert was a little generic but chocolate mousse is chocolate mousse, so I can't complain! We were the last in the dining room but did not feel rushed to finish. We left very full and having had a lovely night.

Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We had a great time at Millstone. The staff were friendly, attentive and couldn't have been more helpful. We went for the earlybird, and even though we were very late ordering due to a wayward member of the party, our server was very gracious and patient. The food was generous and tasty. The earlybird menu offered a suprising number of choices and I was delighted with both my prawn and mackerel salad starter and the succulent salmon main. The restaurant is a tight squeeze but is thoroughly charming. The music was live and there was a energetic atmosphere about the whole place. I will definately return and would reccommend to any of my friends.
