Enjoyed breakfast here with a friend, nice grill, cooked well. Coffees are a bit on the small side but other than that a nice experience.

Beeftro - Balfe Street
5 Balfe St, City Centre South, Dublin

We used a groupon from the Taste - 3 course meal for 2 with a bottle of wine for €50 unbelievably good value. The food was delicious, apart from a disappointing pepper sauce for a steak, the service was friendly without being overly so. We were very happy with our choice.

Konkan Indian Restaurant Dundrum
1 Upper Kilmacud Road, Dundrum Village, Opp Dundrum Garda Station, Dundrum, Dublin

We really enjoyed our evening here for dinner, we had the Valentines menu and my tee total hubby enjoyed the choices of de-alcoholised wine and a non alcoholic refreshing drink that is on the menu. The food was delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced. The service was warm and attentive. We will definitely return.

Honest Pizza
Over Honest to Goodness, 12 Dame Court, Dame Street, Dublin

Had a delicious meal here on a Saturday evening with 3 friends after an early gig. Very cool and buzzy atmosphere and excellent background tunes being played by a DJ. I had the roasted artichoke hearts to start which are to die for and then had the fennel sausage pizza. A friend had the roasted pepper starter which I tried and they were amazing, hot hot but the lime yoghurt eased the heat. Everyone ordered a different pizza and everyone was happy, they are gorgeous, thin crispy bases and remind me of the pizzas I've only ever had in Italy. Topping are interesting too, I tried a friends duck pizza and it was delicious. Good craft beer list, everyone enjoyed their choices. Excellent friendly service. Will definitely return. Cool room, great atmosphere with fab food and very reasonably priced. Delighted to have found it.

Marco Pierre White Courtyard Bar & Grill
1 Belmont Ave, Dublin 4, Donnybrook, Dublin

Enjoyed a meal here on Friday with my husband. Pretty, heated courtyard area where we enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail. Piano Music lends a grown up but fun atmosphere to the large well decorated dining room. Dinner was delicious, I had salmon and my husband had steak, cooked well, nice menu with good choices. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Dessert of chocolate and peanut butter tart was really good. Would definitely return and would recommend as a place to bring business clients.

Jamie's Italian
Pembroke District, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14 , Dundrum, Dublin

Had a lovely night here with my Husband. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, tasty food and lovely non-alcoholic Mojitos. Unfortunately my husband ordered the veal main and found it oily and tasteless but the staff dealt with the complaint well and the manager gave us a free drink for the inconvenience. I really enjoyed the olives on ice and the prawn linguine.

Pitt Bros Smoked BBQ
Unit 1, Wicklow House, Georges St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Really enjoyed my visit here for lunch with friends, relaxed, laid back, quick and tasty. There was room for my son in his buggy, I had the brisket which was delicious and huge, my 3 companions all enjoyed their food and we all enjoyed the free ice cream cone at the end of our meal. Will definitely return.

Beeftro - Dundrum
Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre , South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Ate here with work one evening. I had the La Tagliata Surf and Turf with truffle mash and the marrow sauce. The steak and prawns were delicious, perfectly cooked and came with some chorizo chopped up in the dish. The truffle mash I could eat all day, served in a lovely pot. The marrow sauce wasn't very flavoursome. I had the caramel, honeycomb and pecan sundae for dessert and that was to die for. Really enjoyed the food here and will definately return. We arrived at 530pm so it was quiet in the restaurant but it soon filled up with shoppers and the atmosphere improved. Service was pretty good and welcoming.

Enjoyed lunch here just before Christmas, Hubby had a steak sambo and I had the rosary steak. The lunch menu was good value and I really enjoyed my steak and fries, very tasty. Service was satisfactory. We sat in the window, people watching in the bad weather. All in all enjoyed the experience would like to come here for dinner some time.

The Copper Bar
8 Blackthorn Road, Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford, Sandyford, Dublin

First time visit for lunch and just had a main course. The nice waitress recommended the chicken and bacon pasta dish, two of us ordered it and we were both a bit disappointed when it arrived it wasn't as tasty as expected and was quite dry. Another friend got the burger and thought it was more bread than burger. Decor is unusual and interestiing and the service was good, wouldn't be running back.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Came here with a crowd for a work meal, we all shared a suckling pig. Although he wasn't pretty when wheeled out the food was delicious. Starters and deserts were also very good. The staff were helpful and pleasant and feeding everyone with the pig was great value for money. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Liffey Valley)
Unit 40B, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

Enjoyed dinner here before the cinema. We got the €10 deal of a burger, fries and a drink each. I was delighted that the falafal burger was allowed on the deal. The burgers were delicious, large drinks and yummy Rosemary fries. Service was promt and effienct which was exactly what we were looking for. Good find for the future.

Lagoona Bar & Restaurant
Mayor Square, IFSC, City Centre North, Dublin

Grabbed a drink and some food here before a gig in the O2. Chicken wings were cremated looked reheated and dry, weren't spicy as they were described. Blue cheese dip had litttle to no blue cheese in it. Partner not overly impressed with chicken burger. Still we ate it for soakage and made our way to the gig. Service was good though.

Pichet
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

Had dinner here with 3 friends, Was a lovely Sat night, the owner shook our hands on entrance and he served us our food, the waitress was very helpful and advised us on the menu. We skipped starters, went straight to mains and had a cheese plate to finish. The mains were delicious everyone was very happy with their choices, I have the duck which was wintery and warming. The cheese plate was very generous. Lovely atmosphere. Will be back.

The Larder Restaurant
8 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had an early bird here before a gig on a Friday night. We shared a starter, had a main each and shared a dessert. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Food was delicious. Wings starter was spice and tasty, I had steak cooked to perfection and my husband had a very tasty burger, we shared some blueberry cheesecake for dessert and we couldn't complain about anything. All very tasty, generous portions and good value for money. We will be back.

The Wild Goose Grill
First Floor, Above McSorleys, 1 Sandford Road, Dublin 6 , Ranelagh, Dublin

Ate here with friends on Friday, had no reservation but we were seated in 10 mins at about 9pm. Service was prompt, the food was delicious, everyone was pleased with their choices. The wine list is extensive but the prices are top heavy. Decor is nice and atmosphere is pleasant. All in all a lovely evening.

profile_review

ely gastro bar
Grand Canal Square, (Next to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre), Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Ate here before we went to see Jekyll & Hyde in the Grand Canal. We had no reservation and were quite late arriving. We were concerned we would be late for the perfomance as we only had an hour to eat but we ordered a main course and a drink each. We were seated quickly, ordered and served quickly and efficiently, I had the battered hake and my husband had the burger, all was tasty, the staff were fast and courteous. One big downside was the price of a glass of wine €7.50 is extremely high. I hadn't seen a wine list and asked for a glass of house red so only realised this when the bill arrived. All in all we were happy that we managed to fit it all in and still make it to the theatre on time but next time I'll be looking at a wine list.

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

Enjoyed dinner here with friends, lovely room, pleasant atmosphere, good service, food was tasty but nothing overly special. We all chose from the Table d'Hote menu which is good value €35 for 3 courses. Really relaxed and comfortable.

Dillingers
47 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

Place was busy and doesn't take bookings for less than 5 people, had to wait an hour for a table so went across the road for a drink. Place was busy and had a good atmopshere, service was friendly and prompt. I ate the celeriac salad and hubby had the pork belly salad to start both were delicious although not enough blue cheese dressing on mine, i had the roast guinea fowl and he had the steak mains, both were cooked to perfection and very tasty, wine was good value. All in all a very nice experience. Not suitable for quiet romance as seatings are tight enough but a lovely restaurant.

profile_review

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Came here for a girle night catch up with 3 mates. Went for the 3 courses for €25 menu. Everyone was happy with their food, my red beef curry (hot) was delicious. A friend chose to go with a very hot green curry but she couldn't get through it as she found it too hot (word of warning). Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was buzzing, just what's needed on a friday evening. All in all great value and we enjoyed a lovely evening. We will be back.

La Cuvee @ Eno Wine Bar
1 Burton Hall, Mayor Square, IFSC, City Centre North, Dublin

Went for dinner on Sat evening before theatre. We skipped starters but were brought bread and oil. I chose the fish of the day grilled mackeral and my partner had the Rib Eye, we were both happy with our choices although my citrus sauce was a little plain. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. I chose the cheese plate for desert and my partner had the ice cream. Cheese plate was a very good size, and the staff offered me more bread for it. Good food and wine. Reasonable price for a nice meal.

First Floor Bar & Brasserie @ Harvey Nichols
Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin

Nice looking room, food was very good but there were a few complaints at the table and only one was dealt with well. The service good but it was quite pretentious. Also the bar menu states that it sells draft Guinness but when it was ordered the barman poured it from a can into the glass. Good but pricey, won’t be rushing back.

profile_review

Nice menu, delicious food and very good service. The venison main course was very tasty.

profile_review

ITSA @ Harvey Nichols
Harvey Nichols, Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin

Had lunch here on a Sat afternoon, I ordered the warm parma ham and goats cheese salad and my partner in crime ordered the thai chicken curry. My maincourse salad was tasty but it was the size of a starter and the parma ham was cremated probably a couple of days prior. My partners curry was bland and cold. A beer was €6 and a Cranberry juice €3...Overpriced....We won't be back.

profile_review

Roly Saul The Restaurant
The Mill House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

A group of us ate here as a birthday celebration, we were handed the pre-theater menu even though we were 15 mins late for it, I thought that was good, however none of us ordered from it. I had the black pudding and apricot tart-tatin which i found quite dry and not as sweet as i had anticipated, for main course I had the salmon on butternut squash with a caper lemon cream, the fish was nicely cooked but the sauce and squash were tasteless. The service was very good but the restaurant was quiet, the decor is nice, clean and understated. 3 of the group ordered the pork belly, the waiter warned that it was very salty, he was right..it was unbelievably salty so bad that some couldn't finish it, they were warned however so they couldn't complain. Overall a nice visit but nothing overly impressive.

profile_review

Nandos (Dundrum)
Sandyford Road, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Better than I had expected. Food was tasty, good portions, I liked the bottomless soft drinks, better class of fast food and good value compared to other choices in Dundrum.

profile_review

Chatham Brasserie
Chatham Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Came here with college mates, everyone enjoyed the food, the service was good, waitress was helpful but not imposing. I had misto frito and then the fish of the day which was lovely. Everyone else seemed happy with their dishes. Nice relaxed meal and decent value for money. Also liked the way the front of the restaurant can open up...nice on a warm balmy evening.

profile_review

L'Gueuleton
No 1 Fade Street, Off Georges's Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Food was good, tasty, we also got a free prosecco when we walked in which was a really nice touch but we were eating with friends who eat there regularly..but when we kept drinking the prosecco we didn't realise they were 11 euro a glass eek..anyway it ended up a touch more expensive than anticipated but overall pretty good grub and very good service.

profile_review

Hard Rock Cafe
12 Fleet Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Service was very good for a sunny, busy day in temple bar. My boyfriend had a burger which he enjoyed I had the pulled pork sandwich which tasted too much of vinegar for my liking (but it did mention that on the menu). Was a chilled out nice meal nothing major to praise or to complain about. Not a bad spot.

profile_review

Lemongrass (Liffey Valley)
Arc Bar, Liffey Valley Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Went here for pre-cinema dinner. Food was nice, service a little slow for a place that was almost empty. Wouldn't say its great value for money. I think they should do the Bento boxes in the evening too as they are so quick and tasty.

profile_review

Mao Restaurant (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

After some xmas shopping my boyfriend and I ate here, my chicken with crispy noodles was delicious but my boyfriend wasn't mad about his duck dish, it wasn't crispy enough. I always enjoy eating in Mao, its got a nice atmosphere and tasty food plus it won't break the bank.

profile_review

The Morgue
Main St, Templeogue Village, Templeogue, Dublin

Ate here with a friend mid week after work. We shared the chicken wings, she had the penne pasta and I had Chilli. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Good value, good service and good grub. Also loved the real fire in the room.

profile_review

Little Caesars Pizza (City Centre)
5 Balfe Street, Near Westbury Hotel, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Not impressed at all with this spot. Service wasn't great and there is no atmosphere even though it was busy eouch..were here for lunch and shared a pizza and some chips. The chips were soggy and the pizza was just ok nothing to write home about. Sat at the door where there is a serous cold breeze when the doors open All in all quite a disappointing experience.

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for lunch here on sat afternoon. Fancied something quick and a beer while the match was on and this place delivered what we wanted. Service was very good. I had chili which came with rice and 2 baked potatoes which was far too much food but it was all lovely and my boyfriend had a burger and chips which he really enjoyed. Good value and quick and easy. We left happy and satisfied.

Arc Cafe Bar
Liffey Vallley Shopping Centre, Fonthill Rd, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

Ate here last Sunday evening on the way home from a long day up north. We both fancied a steak and a pint of Guinness. Both went down well here. The steaks were lovely, good cuts of meat, well cooked lovely sauces of the side and everything was exactly the way we wanted. I've been here a few times and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Lovely decor, well lit, warm atmosphere and good service.

Ananda
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

A group of us ate here and had a lovely meal. I had the duck tasting which was delicious and the turbot main course (which was a little flavourless). Everyone else certainly enjoyed their food and the atmosphere was nice. Well decorated and unrushed. The service was good although maybe a little fussy at times.

profile_review

Brannigans Dundrum
Dundrum Town Centre Dundrum, Dundrum, Dublin

4 of us went here Friday evening before the cinema and we all enjoyed it. The others had burgers, I had baby back ribs, the grub was pretty good, a few beers each, bill reasonable enough and the service was good. All in all it was pretty painless.

YO Sushi (Dundrum)
Level 1, Unit 26A, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

I love sushi..but this place worries me because of the really high ceiling..always paranoid about what is dropping down from there..anyway the food is tasty, the service is quick..just keep an eye on the prices as it can very quickly add up to quite a large bill..i wish sushi was as cheap here as it seems to be in other European countries

profile_review

Reeves Restaurant
172 Templeogue Road, Dublin 6w, Templeogue, Dublin

I had dinner here with my boyfriend and another couple. The place was busy enough but we managed to get a table for Sat night and only rang at 6pm that evening. Three of us had starters, I had prawns which weren't really big enough and they were served with rice that wasn't mentioned on the menu, the dish didn't really impress me. The others had brie and a beef stir fry which they enjoyed and liked the portions of as they were quite big. The 2 guys got steaks with lots of extras included and they loved the pepper sauce as it had a serious kick, I had the duck which was crispy and delicious and another had sea bass which she really enjoyed. There was one bottle of wine on the bill, a couple of sparkling waters and some coffees and a drink. The bill came to €180 which I thought was very reasonable and we were all pretty happy. The service was faultless and the atmosphere friendly. Overall a pretty good, reasonable, wholesome place to eat.

Lovely place. I was here last night for a birthday celebration for 6 people, we booked for 7pm and they needed the table back at 9. Service was prompt, warm and friendly, the food was delicious. Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar (Tallaght)
Unit A3 Tallaght Cross Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

Went here for lunch on Saturday...Service was slow while there appeared to be plenty of staff hanging around. My chili con carne was nice..plus I was given extra chili and nachos when they noticed that i had a lot of rice left, my partners cajun chicken burger wasn't very impressive, it looked quite bland and he said it was very dry and the sauce was more like thousand island than cajun..not too expensive..the place could do with a few tweaks to make it a more enjoyable experince

Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin

Ate here with work colleagues on Tuesday night. Unusual spot for a Thai restaurant but as soon as you walk in you are transported from a modern office block to an ornate welcoming restaurant. The service was attentive. The extensive menu was impressive. To start I had the mussels hot pot which was tasty and very generous, the other three diners had the spring rolls which they all enjoyed. For mains I had a delicious lamb curry, 2 others had flambe duck lit at the table which is a nice touch but they felt it lacked in flavour, the other diner had sizzling beef which unfortunately didn't arrive sizzling but she said was tender and she really enjoyed it. A nice place, prices are moderate, the menu is so big I would like to go back to try more.
