Went there on Friday 24th August with my wife. We had been there in June and was delighted to be back, why? because the food is wonderful and the staff so very professional. There were 2 main front of house, Rachel the owner and Michelle her best friend. They both remembered us and were so very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, fish cake and Catfish gougons to start, wife had steak main and i had blackened chicken. Could only manage ice cream for desert. Food overall was excellent and was only beaten by the service. So very very friendly. I have just purchased another voucher on Menupages to be used before end October. Great music as well at weekends, Jazz / blues and they have a pianist from Czech who is brilliant. Go there folks so welcoming, great food. you will remember your visit

Reviewed 29th September 2015 ( visited 29th September 2015 )

Stayed here on 29th September and had dinner in the bar. I have stayed here before and nearly always eat in the bar. The menu seems to have changed in the last 2 years and is now very much restricted to pub grub. I had a soup starter which was very tasty. I had opted for the "special" which was beer battered fish and chips. The plate arrived with chips, fish and a dish of tarter sauce. I was hoping for some veg but alas not to be. Food was tasty but would have been great to have an option of fish with potatoes and veg. Staff were really nice and friendly

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We have visited here before and nearly always with a voucher. This one was for a 2 course meal each with a bottle of wine. I prefer red and my wife prefers white. I explained this to our waitress and she said this was no problem and she gave us 2 glasses of each. Food as ever was very good. We kept it simple and both ordered chicken wings followed by roast chicken. Both dishes were served piping hot with really good portions considering we had a voucher. Service was excellent too and we will definitely be back there.

Courtyard Bistro at The Castlecourt Hotel
The Castlecourt Hotel, Westport, Mayo

I stayed in The Castlecourt on Monday 28th September and I am a very regular visitor. I had dinner in the Courtyard Bistro as I usually do and must say my waitress, a foreign girl who is there for years was extremely friendly and helpful. I had Garlic Mushrooms to start and they were lovely with some nice salad to accompany them. My main was a baked fillet of fish with a pesto and sundried tomatoes. Fish was a little dry and the sundried tomatoes were cold. Fish was served on a bed of mash with a bowl of veg on the side. Warm pleasant place and will be back

Tamara Restaurant
Unit 11/18 Belgard Square, Tallaght Town Centre, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

Visited here on Friday 4th Sept and we were using a voucher which I just purchased on the day. This cost €35 for 2 starters, 2 main courses and Tea / Coffee. All in all great value and the food as ever was excellent. We both had different starters and mains and love them. Large portions which surprised me as I thought they might hold back because of the voucher, no so. One of the waitresses was a little unfriendly at the outset but did mellow later on. Definitely will go back.

The Quays Irish Restaurant
10-12 Temple Bar Square, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Visited here with a party of 11 to celebrate a 60th birthday. We looked at the menu and in the end we all decided to go for the set 3 course for €17.95. There was a steak option with a €6 supplement and everyone of us went for that menu. The starters were excellent and everybody decided to have the steak. All perfectly cooked and presented with a side of chips and a little bowl of pepper sauce. The only other thing on the plate was a sprig of parsley!!!! The food was very good but what would have been wrong with say a spoon of sauted onions and mushrooms, that would have taken the meal from good to great. The cost for that would probably have been €0.15 per plate and would have added the "wow" factor to the meal. Consider that folks PLEASE. That said the staff were great and very attentive, well done to them

The Harlequin Restaurant @ The Harlequin Hotel
Lannagh Road, Castlebar, Mayo

I stay in this hotel several times a year and alway eat in the restaurant. Tonight I had Seafood Chowder followed by wild mushroom and Asparagus risotto. Probably the best Chowder I have ever tasted with lots of all kinds of fish / shell fish. The Risotto was excellent and lovely and moist. Both dishes were very well seasoned with no need to add anything. The service was excellent with all staff watching every table and if something had to be done each of them did it. This is why i keep coming back, very well done folks.

The Blazin Grill Steakhouse and Seafood
Belgard Square, Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

I have been here twice in recent times. Once just before Christmas with a group of 8 and again for my wifes birthday in 27th January. I cannot speak highly enough of Blazing Grill, the welcome was excellent and staff attentions matched this. Service was well up to expectation. What excelled for us was the quality of the food together with the presentation, I didn't know whether to eat it or just sit and look at it but I can assure you it tasted just as good as it looked. I will be back and so should you.
