Don’t let the location turn you off, Living near by I have eaten here many times. The food is beautifully presented and tastes lovely. Well worth a visit. However do check out the prices. This can be a little more expensive than you think. The menu has a good price range starting relatively low to over priced. But it is worth it, great food, great people, great memories. And if it is your birthday or have a group booking you can karaoke all night.

Indie Spice Grill
Burgundy House, New Street, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Went here on a Saturday night for my birthday. Group of 15 of us. We had wine and beers galore and a full spread of beautiful food. It came to 706 including service charge. So for less than 50 a head we had a great meal, nice wine and a very fun night. Will definitely be back

Smyths Cock Tavern Swords
31 Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Last Saturday I dropped in a quick bit to eat. I had a cheesy steak with Mushrooms.... it was lovely. The only problem other than lipstick on my glass was there was not enough food! Part of a chain, which I only copped from the menu, this is one place I will be returning to!

Gemelles
23 Quay Street, Galway City, Galway

I had an amazing time at this resturant. I went with 3 others and sat at the window. The food was amazing, the wine was great and we had one of the best meals we had in a long time. Another great reason to go to Galway.

Eddie Rockets (O Connell Street)
O' Connell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Brr..... This can be a cold place to eat if you are sitting near the door. But it's worth it when your chicken burger arrives, Burger sauce, mushroom and cheese. What more can you want? Oh, and a vanilla malt. This is a busy place especially at 3 am on a Saturday night. but it is great fun! The staff are brill!

The Summit Inn
Howth Summit, Howth, Dublin

A nice walk from Howth Village up to the Summit. Great view, good pints and decent food. And after all the food and drink you can walk it off by walking back down to the town.

Mongolian Barbeque
7 Anglesea Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This is a fun place to eat. I enjoyed it a lot. My only regret is that I was on a night out and all that food and beer fills you up really quickly. I love how you can choose everything and see it all been cooked in front of you. Very Cool!

Town Bar and Grill
21 Kildare Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Where this place got its two € rating, I dont know. I found this place extremely over-priced. My dining expereince here was not good. My waiter knock my glass of water of me and it's not the best when you have cream trousers on. It was an accident but it was extremely embarassing. Even more so due to it been a working dinner with clients. In their favour, the food is great.

The best steak I have had in a long time. The recommended wine was a delight and the friendly chat with the waiters was great. Good place to go!

Cheap, cheerful and great food, The coffee is muck upstairs and the water is undrinkable. But great for lunch during the week.

Boulevard Cafe

Great for lunch - gets very busy and sometimes too noisy - but I have never recieved a bad dish from here.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I ate here recently and found it to be a big disappointment. My reasoning for this is that 1 – the food portions are massively too large (A silly complaint I know) and 2 - all the food is bland. No real taste from it. I would hazard a guess and say that it is the cheapest meat they can find. I had the Burger. It was impressive to look at but there was more grizzel in it than beef. My partner had the ribs. They were like rocks on a stick. But saying that they did accept payment in a very courteous manner and even signed me up to the loyalty programme they run. Not impressed at all.

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

A group of us headed out on a work celebration here on Friday night. To say the least we where impressed. The grandeur of the old ball room, to the open clay fire in the corner, great service and fine foods, from starters through to coffees our whole dinning experience was very enjoyable. The Steak in particular was excellent!

Chai Yo
100 Lower Baggot street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Chai Yo - From Live cooking to a Johnny Cash wannabe singing chef that plays the Guitar. Chai Yo is a favourite of mine for lunchtime eating. Anyone in the Baggot Street area I give it my thumbs up and 5* rating.

Pink Elephant
Mains Court, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

To be honest, this place was one of my favourite places to eat until my last visit. 4 of us went for the meal, and we decided that we would have some wine. The server, as lovely as ever started to recommend an exclusive wine to me, which was only in their restaurant. The wine cost close to €30 p/b. that was grand. We ordered 3 bottles. The meal was lovely, the bill was huge and as we walked out there is a store 3 doors down selling the same wine for 5.99 a bottle. I understand places charging a 100% mark up but come on. Do they think people wont notice these thing. The lied to me and ripped me off. I went back in and complained but got a cold, unwelcoming attitude and a deaf ear. So people beware the food is great but the wine is extortion.

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I love here for lunch. They do an excellent lunch menu for 10 euro, which includes a drink. So if you fancy something of a somewhat larger portion and freshly cooked and all for under 10 euro. I stronger recommend here. Your choices range from salads to chicken to beef, burgers, wrap etc... Go on, its good.

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I heard a lot about this place and had to try it out myself. To be honest I found it strange at first, the seats are benches which hold about 10 people each and the bill is your placemat as they write on it as you order and you bring it to the till to pay. But saying that I food the food to be excellent and fresh, and you can see it all been cooked it its long open view kitchen. Not a place for a date but ideal for bit to eat with friends on the town.

Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin

I really enjoyed this restaurant, I have been meaning for a long time to go here and finally did. Two of us went and had a beer, starters, mains and coffee at a modest 67.50. :-) Everything about the place was a charm, from the decor, to staff, food and drink even the toilets where exceptionally clean for our Irish standards. So I give it a big thumbs up. I do recommend the Angel Wings starters.... yumm....
