Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar restaurant
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 08th March 2010 ( visited 05th March 2010 )Visited this restaurant for lunch was very dissapointed, ordered a burger and the meat was of a very poor quality. Portions were big, but not enjoyable at all. Expensive for lack of taste
18 Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
We were a big group of 10 and made a last minute booking and were kindly accomodated on a Saturday night. However, due to the group booking we were restricted to ordering from a set menu which was quite limited. Garlic pizza bread is moreish and the pasta portions were small but tasty, however the Pizzas were very disspointing not thin and crispy as you would expect but a littel soggy.
36 Wexford St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Really juicy and tasty homemade burger and sides. Sweet potatoe fries were good...potatoe fries were even better! One patty is more than enough-will definately be back
The Green Hen
33 Exchequer street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here for lunch with the girls just after Christmas. The Soup was amazing. The Hake was o.k. The Burgers were amazing, presentation was fantastic and the portions were good sized. The Seafood pasta was beautiful and everybody was impressed with the Goats Cheese and Walnut salad. The meal topped off with the raspberry Bellinis was a success. Very enjoyable...I will be back!
Kanum Thai Ltd
77 Mespil Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
Got a takeaway from here last night, the qulity of food is amazing, the portions are very big, and the starters are so reasonably priced it would be rude not too. The service is so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this thai restaurant wouldn't be a nice setting for a sit-down meal. although there is a seating area, which is very small, it really is set up more as a takeaway
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
very authentic. tagine was delicious. loved the decor, great atmosphere. very enjoyable evening.
10 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
had the early bird for dinner. individually tasty foods but not when starter and main were together on the one plate, making it not so great value for money....but the cocktails are to die for!
The Waterside Bar & Bistro
Ninth Lock, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin
goog food at very reasonable price. went here to meet with friends, staff so friendly and allowed us sit and chat long after meal was gone. good fun place!

MV Cill Airne Boat Bar & Restaurant
MV Cill Airne, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, IFSC, Dublin
Beatiful location for a bright sunny afternoon. lovely setting along the water. Different!! Food is nice, wish the menu was more extensive with its fish options
The Porterhouse (Parliament Street)
Parliament Street le Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin
Nice pub grub, but won't get anything too extravagant on the menu! can get very busy and packed, so service can be slow
Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin
Great selection. Lots of choices on the menu, food beautifully presented, but portions a bit on the smaller side. Great atmosphere, great place to head before a night out-place is buzzing!
Zaytoon (Parliament Street)
14/15 Parliament Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Food is so tasty. very big portions, but unfortunately it feels like a school canteen with the trays and queuing for your food. On the up side its quick, cheap, filling and very tasty. Great choice also.
47 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin
very overpriced for the food it was, limited menu. reminded me of an american diner, not a place to go for a romantic meal for two!
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin
Went here for lunch on Saturday with the girls , perfect little shopping break, relaxed atmosphere and tasty menu. Definately catering for lunch only though
The Chili Club
Anne's Lane, South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
wonderful restaurant, my favourite thai restaurant in Dublin. Lunch menu is exceptional value and food is impeccable. I'd recommend the Chilli Club selection for starters!
Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Visited this restaurant for lunch was very dissapointed, ordered a burger and the meat was of a very poor quality. Portions were big, but not enjoyable at all. Expensive for lack of taste
6 Merrion Row, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here for valentines night with no booking. Staff were very friendly. Ambience was amazing and food very tasty, would definately return.. The pre-theatre menu ia very good value
The Beacon Hotel, Beacon Court, Dublin 18, Sandyford, Dublin
Quite expensive in comparison to many of the Thai restaurants in the city centre, and althougth it was good food, it didn't stand out from the others.
Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
Lovely romantic and cosy setting, went here for the early bird menu mid-week amazing value, and the food was surprisingly tasty. I would recommend the enchiladas
Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Hate this restaurants decor, it feels as though you are sitting back in the college canteen expecting them to dish up bad bad food, although you are always presently surprised, the food is good, generous portions, but squashed onto benches, with random people is not my idea of a pleasant restaurant experience. Hard to relax!
8 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
This is one of my new favourite restaurants! The food is really good, with great attention to detail, there is a great selection of starters, and gourmet pizzas. Moderately sized portions. Prefer the lunch menu than the dinner menu, far better value and loads of choice. The decor of rolling stone magazine covers keeps you entertained if your company doesn't!
7 Anglesea Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here for the early bird menu. The food is fresh, with such a variety of vegetables, spices and meats to choose from. It is such good value for money, and if you're looking for something different this is the place! However, you leave having the funny feeling of having gone out and cooked your own meal...but at least you don't have to clean up the mess!
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Visited this restaurant for a double birthday bash with friends. Perfect for a girl's night out. The atmosphere is fun and cheerful, with cheezy music perfect pre-curser to put you in the mood for a night. The food was really tasty with a wide selection of choice. Although two of my parties main meals came half an hour after everybody elses, we were soon cheered up by the array of desserts that were to follow. Delicious and Big Big portions.
