Myself and my husband dropped in here yesterday evening for a bite to eat. When we arrived we were asked if we had booked, which we had not, we were told we could have a table but would require it back in 2 hours - which we were delighted with. We went for the 3 course meal, terrific value and the food was fab. I had wings, prawn linguine and knickerbocker glory. My husband had falafel, pork belly (he said the best he'd ever tasted) and apple crumble. I'd two glasses of house white and my husband had a mojito - amazing, freshly made!!! All of the above for the fantastic price of €71.00 - fantastic value, we will deffo be back!!!!!!

This is one my favourites, love the food! Have never had a bad experience. Service is always great, waiters are friendly and offer advice on different dishes to try. It is a little expensive but in my opinion it is always worth it!!!

The Brick House
24 Harbour Road, Skerries, Dublin, Skerries, Dublin

Staff were very freindly. My husband ate from the main menu and enjoyed every bit of it! He went for pork belly and said it was devine. I on the other hand went for the tapas menu......well I say tapas but was like nothing I ever had before. Just dreadful! I ordered 3 dishes and left two and a half. When the waitress came back she asked was everything ok and I said no, my wasn't great at all. Nothing was deducted from our bill and needless to say no service charge was left. Can't say I'll be giving here another go.

Alfies
10 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

So predinner cocktails were delish! That's were to good story ends I'm afraid.....the cocktail waiter was extremely abrupt. We were seated for dinner and and menu was very mixed.....we had bread basket for starters, bread was not good but the crackers were! I had sizzling chicken for my main, was pan fried chicken smothered in a cream pepper sauce - not good! Service was very bad, we got two bills before we got the actual bill for our table! Wouldn't be rushing back but might go back for a mojito sometime!!!

Dobbins Restaurant
15 Stephen Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We have been going to Dobbins for years, usually a real treat......not so last Saturday :-( We went for the early bird, good choice of foods - (we were a party of 14). Service wasn't great, food was very average, one lady didn't touch her steak as it was very tough, when plates were taken away she was never even asked was everything ok. We were rushed off our table, even though our deserts took an eternity come. So I think for our next theatre day out we will have to find a new restaurant.

Keogh's Cafe
1-2 Trinity Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I'm so disappointed.......scones are amazing from here before I start my rant! I got a cajun chicken wrap from here today at lunch, it was 2.95 for take out, got back to my desk and when I opened it up I got half a cajun chicken wrap! I called as I thought I may have been left short but no.......that's what you get......rip off or what!!!!!!!!!!

Sun Rice Garden Restaurant
42 Church Street, Skerries, Skerries, Dublin

We got a new "take out" menu delivered and thought we'd give it a go last night. Bad idea!!!! The restaurant should be calling Minging not Mings! We got Satay Chicken for starter, chicken was terrible although the sauce was nice! singapore fried rice for main - was ok and salt & chili chicken - I say chicken but not sure what it was!!! Sorry to say not a good experience at all.

Green 19
19 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

Went to Green Nineteen yesterday for lunch....had heard great things about the place and we were so not disappointed! I'd pear & walnut salad to start - was fab! Club Sambo - really nice! Cherry & Bourbon sundae to finnish - just alright! My hubby had soup to start - really tasty, chicken hotpot for mains - said the chicken was delish and rhubard crumble with mojito ice cream - OMG ice cream was massive......have to find out how they make it!!! All that was 38.00 - best value around!!!!! GO GO GO!!!!

McSwiggans
3 Eyre Street, Woodquay, Galway

Went here ith a group of 7 - we had friends over from New York. The actual restaurant it's self is so cosy -lovely feel to it - lots of different levels and areas to it. A lovley large tree up the back all light with lights - really nice. Food was fab - our waiter recommened some fab wine and the mojito's were to die for. All in all you should deffo give this place a go!!!

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Another one of my all time favourites. Went yesterday with a friend for lunch, as usual food was fast and fab! Good tip from our waiter, I usually order a side of fresh chillies and he told me in future order when food arrives at the table, that way you are not charged for - EVERY little helps!!! <3 I had Chicken Teriyaki and my friend had the lunch bento - both fab!!!

Bombay Bistro
55, Main Street, Rush, Rush, Dublin

I went here yesterday evening after reading the reviews already given on menupages.ie. We arrived just after 6pm and were the only two people in the place. The staff were very nice and attentive. The menu was well spaced out and easy to ready. Food was fab - I love spicy food, wasn't as spicy as I would have like but still really good food! Price wise pretty good two, 2 starters and 2 mains with a naan for just under 50 euro. We will deffo go back - maybe a little later in the evening :-)
