I eat lunch here at least once a week and love the place. Its simple food cooked really well and priced just right. The staff are always really friendly and the food is always served up very fast. The queues that go out the door every weekend is a sign that this is one of the best places in Dublin for lunch. I highly recommend it.

Earth & Vine Restaurant at Castleknock Hotel
Castleknock Hotel, Porterstown Road, West Dublin, Castleknock, Dublin

Great service from the staff. The food however was a dissapointment. The number of options on the early bird menu was very limited. It was not very good value considering the small portions we got and the quality of the steak was very poor. We wont return here again.

Musashi Noodles and Sushi Bar
15 Capel Street, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

This is simply one of the best places to eat japanese food in Dublin. Its always busy which is a great sign, their phone never stops ringing at lunch time with people making reservations. Best Bento box in town for only €8.99. Love the place !

The early bird menu is great value, great service and everything you would want for a reasonable price. We eat here all the time and have never been dissapointed !

Merry Ploughboy Pub
Edmondstown Road, Rockbrook, Rathfarnham, Dublin

Worth a visit for late lunch or early dinner, nice food and great value, can get a bit noisy when alot of kids and familys eating in the area on the left as you come in the main door, service is always good and will definately be back

BANG Restaurant & Bar
11 Merrion Row, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Really really dissapointing ! Our greeting on arrival felt very amateur, not a great start. The interior of the restaurant badly needs a restoration. It feels old and tatty. The cheapest bottle of wine was €30 for a very average wine. We were 40 minutes waiting for our starter, i had the sausage which was so small i finished it in one bite. They brought us bread which was tasteless, my steak at €33 came with nothing but some cress on the side and a mushroom that was so small it was comical. My girlfriend had the fish which was nice but again way over priced and she was still hungry after it. I would avoid this place and will never return again. Restaurants cant get away charging those high prices for such dissapointing food and amateur service. Bang's glory days are well and truly over !

The Thatch Bar & Restaurant
Military Road, Crinkill, Birr, Offaly

A perfect restaurant for a cosy meal on a damp and cold March evening. The welcome was as equally warm as the log fire burning. I cant fault anything, service is 5 stars, value is 5 stars. The quality of the food is outstanding. This is complemented by a great selection of wine. A hidden Gem just outside Birr, would highly recommend it and will most definately be returning.

Port House Pintxo
12 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Arrived late on Friday without a reservation. We only had a 15 minute wait for a table. I couldn't fault anything, atmosphere was great, food and wine choice were top class. Once of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time, a great experience rounded off with great and fast service and very reasonably priced bill. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great tapas & wine with a lively atmosphere and fantastic service.
