This is a gem of a restaurant, with so much character, entertainment & old-style quirkiness - So rare in this day & age. Great for groups & couples and a must for all your visiting guests!!

I found this to be a nice restaurant - The food is good - moderately priced. Lacking in atmosphere. Very coupley!! Major plus is you have The Orchard to go for a drink afterwards & a cab to take you home too..

The Old Mill Bar And Restaurant
Old Bawn Road, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

Not a fan of the Old Mill. Over-Run with young families at the weekend, the food is basic pub grub. The Mill has no atmosphere as it's too sparse in size - leaving no feeling of a 'local pub'

Scent Garden Restaurant
1st Floor Scholars Pub, Ballycullen Road, Tallaght, Tallaght, Dublin

Ate here a couple of times & was unimpressed. Got a takeaway on several occasions (don't ask why!!) and it's been terrible - Nicely presented but the food was overpriced, cold - terrible! Only thing going for it is that Scholars (pub) is next door..

Speaker Connolly
Firhouse Road, Tallaght, Dublin

Pub grub meets good Restaurant. Nice variety in food, great for watching a game & a bit to eat but can be creche-like at the weekends with all the kids. Otherwise, hard to fault.

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Food is not great, reasonably priced given the location. Ok for lunch but not a meal with family or a partner. They SERIOUSLY need to sort out the seating - not intimate at all as people are sitting on top of each other, shouting - trying to have a conversation. At the end of the meal all you want to do is get out!! Oh, and when it's busy, you have to stand on the street waiting for a seat...

TGI Friday (St Stephens Green )
St Stephens Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Good value for money. Nice cocktails - full bar. Ideal for an informal, fun after work office party, birthday or any occasion. Great atmosphere!!

China House (Firhouse)
15 Firhouse Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Firhouse, Dublin

The China House is good for Take-Away but not the best for a sit down meal. Quite dull & lacking in atmosphere.

Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin

Would not recommend this place for a night time meal. Not a great location if you want to go out afterwards. Lunch-time menu is quite nice & reasonably priced too.

Reeves Restaurant
172 Templeogue Road, Dublin 6w, Templeogue, Dublin

Nice intimate restaurant. Perfect for family and group bookings followed by a drink in the Morgue afterwards. Food is great but portions could be bigger. Highly recommend the Seabass.

Acapulco Restaurant
7 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Visited Acapulco on many occasions - The food is great, washed down by a Corona & a Frozen Margarita. Hard to fault this place, great for group bookings, reasonably priced. Ensure you book in advance - Particulary on Saturday nights.
