At last a wagamama's outside of the city and right on my door step as well. We went here on a tuesday on a tuesday evening and there was a good crowd with a nice buzz in the place. The restaurant is bright and airy and is upstairs compared to the basement one in town. Service was quick and friendly. The food was great as always so fresh and tasty. The also have a lovely kids menu with noodles and a choice of freshly cooked chicken or salmon. Can't wait to go back again. Plus they also do takeaways. A great addition to the Blanchardstown restaurant scene.

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

We had a lovely dinner on the night with visited Tante Zoe's with our menupages voucher..The food, service and staff were top class. We ate from the set menu which had a good selection on it. We started with the seafood gumbo and Calamari both where very good. For mains we had the cajun chicken and blue cheese burger. The chicken was chargrilled and was lovely and moist. The burger was nicely seasoned and was nice coarse ground beef. The accompanying wedges and vegetables were tasty.. For dessert it was an assisette to share which was a nice touch but it could have had more than 3 ithems. The only problem we had was actually trying to book through menupages website. They kept rejecting our booking due to over booking but when we phoned the Managress was very accomadating and gave us a table straight away...Would defintely go back again...

Washerwomans Hill
60 Glasnevin Hill, Glasnevin, Glasnevin, Dublin

VIsited this restaurant for the first time after buying the recent menupages deal of 2 maincourses and a carafe for 24. The restaurant had a nice buzz and atmosphere when we arrived and we were seated straight away by a lovely waitress. They had a set menu and a l'carte menu available and you could order from both with the voucher. Both menu's were interesting and had a good selection. We had the fishcakes and deep fried poached egg to start, both were very tasty. We both had the barbury duck with gratin potatoes for mains. It was excellent with a really good orange style sauce too. We had the panacota and peach tart tatin for dessert. The panacota was nice, the tatin ok, it was spoilt by being heated in the microwave which made it rubbery. The sevice was very good and the only small fault I would have is that €12.50 is too expensive for a very limited kids menu. Will definitly be back.

Ming Garden (Dublin)
Unit 1-2 Bonnybrook CentreMain Street, Blanchardstown Village, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Went here recently for dinner. We decided to try it for a change as we usually go to the other 1 at the shopping centre. Service was good. The menu is good with plenty of chioces. The food was nice. The only thing that annoyed me was we ordered a small chiken noodle for a child and we were given and charged for an adults portion. I felt it was a waste and a slight rip off.

Tyrrellspass Castle Restaurant
Main Street, Tyrellspass, Westmeath

Went for a family lunch here last Sunday. I had been here a few times but not for a while. I had rang ahead to book but it didn't seem to matter. They were kind of offering first come first served seating arrangement. We were eventually seated in one of the back rooms which was very dark and lifeless. This could have been helped with drawing the curtains and turning on the music. The lunch menu is the same one for years, it needs to be modernised and changed. I also find it is exspensive for the current market. The food was good lovely and fresh and piping hot. The service was quick and efficent too.

TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Was vey disapointed with a recent visit to TGI. We just ordered to Burgers. Firstly they were over exspensive at nearly 15 euro each. For this you would at leat exspect a homemade fresh burger. But instead were 2 frozen quarter pounder type ones. There was no dressings or sauces on the garnish or buns. A total dry tasteless affair. Service wasn't great either with no cutlery been given and having to get it ourselves.

The Porterhouse (North )
Cross Guns Bridge, Glasnevin, Dublin

It was our first time to Porterhouse North and I have to say ot was very good. It is a lovely bar with good spacious seating area and 2 nice outdoor seating areas. The menu had a good selction. For starters we had the garlic pizza bread with 2 cheeses and the chicken skewers. The pizza bread was really good and a lovely big portion. The chicken skewers weren't great and were the only bad part of the meal . They were a bit dry and needed a dip. We then had a porterhouse burger and goats cheese salad for mains, both were very tasty. We also ordered a kids meal which was great value at 5 euro. The food was homemade, lovely and fresh. It also included a soft drink and icecream. The beer menu is very impressive and we tasted some lovely unusual beers. All and all a very pleasant visit and will definetly be back again.

Sanctuary @ Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown
Blanchardstown Town Centre, Blanchardstown, Dublin

It was my first time at this new hotel in Blanchardstown. The bar was very nice with a nice crowd inside. The menu had a good selection and was averagely priced. The waitress was warm, freindly and very efficent. I had the nasi goreng an asian chicken and prawn dish with and my wife had the chicken fajita. Both were well presented. My nasi goreng was fine ,it just lacked chicken. There was only 2 very small skewers on top with 1 piece of small chicken on each. The fajita was a little to salty. Overall we were dissapointed but will definetly try it again.

KC Blakes Brasserie
Quay Street, Galway City, Galway

Came here with a party of 5, 4 adults and a child and we ordered from the early bird menu. The menu had a great well balanced choice and what was particularly intersesting a glass of wine was included in the price. I chicken and duck liver parfait to start and it was outstanding. One of the best I have tasted in a long time. I followed it an escalope of pork with cabbage and apple and vanilla puree. Again it was perfectly cooked and presented, I even asked for more puree. The rest of the table had 1 salmon and 2 chicken dishes from the menu and there were also of top quality. Also what I found great they offered real food to children. Service was great too, the only thing been the tables are a bit close together. One of the best meals I had in ages.
