Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

We had a really generous menupages voucher for a three course meal with bottle of wine for 50euro. The food was very nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. There is a lovely beer garden upstairs and as the weather was nice it was lovely to sit out in

The Pig and Heifer
2 Charlotte Way, Harcourt Hall, City Centre South, Dublin

The sandwiches and sides are usually really generous and bursting with flavour but recently they've been lacking. Today the bread was doughy as if undercooked and they sandwich was dry with too much meat in comparison to the rest of the fillings. The side portions were tiny.

Bunsen

Good simple burger, nice ingredients and cooked well. Sweet potato fries are very expensive at twice the price of regular fries but overall menu is quite cheap

Scholars Townhouse Hotel & Restaurant
King Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Drogheda, Louth

The high point of this restaurant is the service and the setting. The restaurant is beautiful and set on very pleasant grounds. The service is flawless. Very attentive, very personable and friendly. The food is good but I don't love the menu. The wine list is extensive and they have recommended wines with certain courses which is a nice touch

Excellent value three course meal. Huge portions and food was really tasty and well prepared. Service isn't rushed. Really recommend the margharitas, the nachos and the cheesecake

Eastern Seaboard
1 Bryanstown Centre, Dublin Road, Drogheda, Louth

Good food, menu seems extensive but is more varieties of the same thing. I'd recommend for lunch rather than dinner. As it is always so busy, the staff sometimes lack the additional touches that make a restaurant comfortable and welcoming

Tango Chinese Restaurant
Rathmullen Rd, Drogheda, Louth

It is overpriced for what it is. The service is attentive but incredibly rushed. Had two courses but was out in 40 minutes. The food is fine but nothing exciting.

Bru Bar and Bistro
Haymarket North Bank, Drogheda, Louth

The service was a little slow however it was a busy night due to bank holiday. We had to order the same drink a few times and people were left sitting with empty glasses / waiting on bill / waiting on food when everything else had arrived. It is quite an extensive menu but perhaps a few things could be trimmed from it to focus on quality. That said is a great place to go with a group as there is a lot to choose from and it is not overly pricey and the staff are welcoming and friendly and try to do the best deal possible

Sorrento's
41 Shop st, Drogheda, Drogheda, Louth

Caters well for large crowds. The food is nice. The garlic mushrooms for starters aren't breaded - this is not a big deal but it wasn't what was expected. The pizzas are fresh and tasty. They do a good 20 course menu

Scholars Townhouse Hotel & Restaurant

An upmarket restaurant with professional service staff. The food is of a high quality and very tasty. However menu changed recently and is not as nice as the old one

Barista Cafe @ Trim Castle Hotel
Castle St, Trim, Meath

The menu can be difficult to interpret but the salad bar is excellent and is excellent value

Black Bull Inn
Dublin Road, Drogheda, Louth

Is a really nice pub / restaurant / bar food place but can be hit and miss re service. Is very popular but on busy nights can lack attention to detail (reheated meat, white wine not chilled). The scampi is great here as are most of the steaks

West29 Restolounge
Westcourt Hotel, West Street, Drogheda, Drogheda, Louth

The food is very nice. Good menu for large groups as a lot of option. Too much option sometimes as certain food items aren't great (thai green curry) but steaks, etc are very nice. Nice bar and atmosphere. Head waiter is very professional but some of the other staff are inexperienced

Millers Pizza Kitchens
50 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

There were great options for toppings which were also matched to doughs created to enhance flavours

profile_review

Cocu
9 Baggot St Upp, City Centre South, Dublin

Portions aren't huge but the food is of great quality and really tasty. There are very few seats in here but service is fast

The service can be a bit slow and lacklustre, however the food and atmosphere is brilliant and the prices are very reasonable. Portion size is really good too.
