My self and my wife Irina went here for a romantic diner. From the first taste of the food we were blown away. We started with Guinness Bread. Our starter was Irish smoked and cured salmon, caper berries, compressed cucumber,a slice of heaven. We had two different main courses. I had Roasted loin of rosa veal, flageolet beans & winter vegetable cassoulet with a side serving of Lobster Mash. My wife had Seared Tuna, warm nicoise salad ,potato crisps with a side order of sweet potato chips. Each dish was perfect. The desert was 2 Valrohna choclate cake,Valrhona is a French premium chocolate, followed by two cappuccino. The wine was Chateau Lagrange 2014 The atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was perfect, just enough but not too much to spoil your meal. The food quality is on a par with Mitchellan Restaurants I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I do not usually write reviews but this time I made an exception as it was a really negative experience going there. When we first walked in we were impressed by the way the place looked. How wrong can one be.We came with a voucher so we were seated in the waiting area and it was 1 hour 30 minutes by the time we were seated and receiving our plain tasting starter. The main course arrived after but was like plain home cooking, not up the spec for a good restaurant. The desert arrived only after we mentioned to the waitress about waiting for so long and I have had better tasting ice cream from a packet. We gave up waiting for our hot drinks to finish the meal as we ran out of time as it was nearly 12 am and we had to leave. I have been to many different restaurants before from budget to 3 star Michelin and this was the worst service I have ever had to endure. It could be a good restaurant if the customers were properly looked after and with shorter waiting times.
