We visited this place on a Wednesday night thinking that the place might be fairly quiet as it was midweek but to our suprise the place was quite busy and the atmosphere very good. I think they have changed the pictures on the walls to be a theatre theme and this was quite pleasant. Service was very good and the food quality the same. I had the Duck Spring Rolls which were delightful & my wife had the Tiger Prawns, beautiful. For Mains I had the 8oz fillet steak which was cooked med/rare to perfection, my wife had the Seabass which was lovely. We passed on desserts as we had enough but also the dessert menu needed more ummphh about it, one of the only things that let us down. The value for money was good just thought that there should be an early bird menu or mid week menu in place. Bottle of Pinot Grigio 14.75 nothing wrong with that. Overall I will be coming back as we thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, service & wine. Thank you to all at Harrigans

Went to the Avenue on a Monday evening at around 5.30pm, there was a few tables in the restaurant when we went in so a nice atmosphere was brewing. Had a look at the early bird menu but realised that the a la carte menu had alot more dishes on it that we liked. Service was good, if I was to be very picky we were never checked on when we were eating our main courses, my fish pie was lukewarm and would have liked it to be heated a bit more but i should have asked. The fish pie is HUGE and good value for money, alot of potato though, Overall the appearance of this restaurant is clean and modern and has a nice feel about it. Keep up the good work..

Zen Thai
17 Main Street, Newbridge, Newbridge, Kildare

When you go up the stairs & into the dining room, all the colours of the LED lights that change colour and the fish tank with the fake fish in it grab your eye, slightly tacky for a restaurant in the 2010's.. They have an offer that your drink whether it be a beer/wine is included which seems good value but the food is lacking the same quality that you would expect for a restaurant. Service was okay, not in your face which can sometimes be the case in Chinese Restaurants. Bill was fine but with the food & decor stuck in my mind for the wrong reasons wont be rushing back to this restaurant. Better Oriental restaurants in Newbridge to dine in..

Dew Drop Inn
(Centre of) Kill Village, Naas, Naas, Kildare

Was here just after Christmas so as you can imagine they were very busy when we arrived, we were promptly sat at our table in the Lounge and given menus as per any place you would go into. We had gone here because we had eaten in Hartes bar, Kildare Town which we found lovely & their food presentation brilliant, as the Dew Drop is their sister pub we were expecting the same. The food although okay lacked a certain wow factor for me and also my friend would have said the same after our experience in their sister pub, good honest pub grub which willl fill you up but if your looking for something to wow you the Dew Drop will not be the place. All round pleasant experience though & good service

Butt Mullins
Poplar Square, Naas, Naas, Kildare

Went here one eveing while in Naas, from what I can remember it kinda reminds me that it is stuck in the late 80's early 90's. Food is okay but it hasnt moved on with the times I think. Presentation was poor, and food was only okay. the atmosphere was very much over 50's which proves that they have a good customer base but I believe if they want to gain new customers they will have to change the way they operate in terms of the way they serve, present & cook food. A little dated for the times we live in, okay food but rest of it would not attract me back.

Annamars Restaurant
Station Road, Kildare town, , Kildare Town, Kildare

Nice quaint place on the way to the Train Station in Kildare Town, food was of a very good standard, well presented. Service was ok, could be more attentive to the customers needs, and could also ask was everything okay, which wasnt when we were there. Would go here again but with all the restaurants doing value deals might be longer than one would imagine as other restaurants are offering better value for money at the moment. Still a very nice place to dine for a special occasion
