Chez Max (Baggot Street) restaurant
133 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 12th March 2014 ( visited 04th March 2014 )I had a quick quiet bite here with my father, and even after repeated visits, (I live across the road), it never fails to hit the spot. We both had the steak, he the striploin, me the skirt, and two glasses of wine. Also, any resturant that has Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise is good in my books. I am not a desert person, but my girlfriend reliable tells me they are delicious.
Ming Court Chinese Restaurant
Unit 453 Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin
Best Dim Sum in Ireland without fail. Well worth the bus out from town, even though there are many many other closer restaurants. One of my absolute favorites. The honey BBQ char siu buns are out of this world
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin
Had lunch with three others. For starters there was the crispy hens egg, the foie gras and the asparagus. For mains, one veal, one duck and 2 slow cook porchetta. I had the porchetta and it was divine: a perfect interpretation of a traditional Sunday roast. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the side we ordered. We were very pious and only had one bottle of wine. A very pleasant and enjoyable lunch.

I was here with friends for a post Christmas blow out. It was my second time here, and I must say I REALLY enjoyed it and thought it was great value. The portions are not huge, but you wont leave hungry. Really fine french style cuisine. The place is a little small, and while some might see that as a disadvantage, I think it has a charm. The wine list is extensive, and you can fall out onto lower Baggot street lower for a few more drinks if you so wish.
Diep le Shaker
55 Pembroke Lane, (Off Pembroke Street), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Was at a work Christmas party here.. and we had a great night. Really well looked after. Although we ate from a set menu, there was plenty of food and it was all delicious. There was really good live music playing and all staff were very accommodating and friendly. Initially I had an issue where there was a small leak from a window near me, but it was quickly and very apologetically resolved. This place has been here many years, and I expect it to be around for many years to come.
Tolteca Mexican Style Grill
38 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, Baggot Street, Dublin
I eat here, and take out, A LOT. I also live directly across from a different burrito bar, and will walk the 10 mins to get these. In my opinion these are the BEST burritos in Dublin. There is no menu, so you make it your own way each time. Occasionally they can put too much in your burrito, which is a very very good complaint. It is also very affordable, even coming up to the few days before payday. I recommend you get 50/50 pulled pork and pulled beef. The best combo!

I love this place, although I have an issue. Whenever I go, I always order the steak for two, which is so delicious and huge, even for two that I never have room for a starter or desert. The steak for two comes with sides and some bread under the meat which soaks up all the juices. It has a fantastic selection of wine, and some lovely desert wines too. Its nice to sit out, even in winter, as it has heaters and a covered canape. A place a keep returning to
The Morrison, Ormond Quay Lower, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin
We had three mains, and a few glasses of wine. Portions were decent, but it lacked something special. A good place for a quick bite
Good World Chinese Restaurant
18 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
This place has the best Dim Sum in Dublin city. Very authentic. I have not eaten off the main menu, but it looks good from what I see around me each time I am there. The service can be a little slow, especially if you are downstairs, but its not bad. The custard tarts are the best, and better then some, outside Hong Kong.
