This is one of my very favourite places, I love the food, the staff and the relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent, so much so I'm there nearly once a week! The foie gras should definintely be tried and the confit of duck is always a pleasure. The wine is obviously excellent it being a wine shop and the staff are very friendly and helpful (and a little quirkly which is part of the appeal!).

I brunched here yesterday for the first time. I liked the place and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. I had eggs benedict which comes with bacon and was so tasty I could have eaten another. My boyfriend had the fry and was very impressed, good quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Would recommend a visit for this yummy brunch!

Pitt Bros Smoked BBQ
Unit 1, Wicklow House, Georges St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

My boyfriend loves this place so for his birthday we headed along with his family. A Saturday night after Irelands victorious six nations win meant that there was a long enough queue in to the place. Once inside we ordered drinkable wine and waited, not too long, for our place at the long table. I ordered the sausage with mac and cheese and sweetcorn. The sausage wasn't too my taste, it was quite dry. The mac and cheese was standard and the corn on the cob which I had been really looking forward to was also a bit dry, would probably have been perfect with a bit of butter! I had wanted the onion rings but after hearing they were not in beer batter I decided to pass which was apparently a good decision according to my boyfriend who says that the onion rings let the place down! He had pulled pork which he really enjoyed. This is probably more of a boys place and though I thought the food wasn't great, you certainly can't beat the value! More a place for the lads to eat on a night out in between pints!

Stoop Your Head
Harbour Road, Skerries, Skerries, Dublin

Being from Skerries, I adore this place and it is pretty much the only place I go to eat when I am out in the lovely seaside town. Its a very good gastropub - the food is very good, particularly the pate, shellfish and cod. I find the service excellent, though being a local I do tend to know most of the staff. My only negative comment is that in recent times the portions seem smaller and the food though still very good is not as good as it once was.

L Mulligan Grocer
18 Stoneybatter, Stoneybatter, Dublin

I live in the area and this place is a great addition to Stoneybatter. It is quirky and funky with a small but nice outside area. The food is tasty, particularly the potted crab and good value. Would recommend!
