Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Decoration of the place makes us feel cosy and atmosphere is great, mainly due to the live singer/guitarist. Food was delicious whether it was fish or meat. We were 11 and service was a bit too long as we had to wait 1 hour after we ordered. Very nice place in general.
The Iveagh Restaurant
The Camden Court Hotel, Camden Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Staff was reallky nice and food tasty. Only room for improvement I see here is that when I booked a table for table, we ended up on 3 tables of 4 instead of one big table. They should ask for it as it is obvious for customer that convives will be altogether.
Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin
nice atmosphere and quality of the products is amazing. However, being allergic to onions, very few options were offered to me (3 starters and 2 main courses like salads, omelettes), and especially not the ones I was dreaming about tasting. Despite that allergy, staff was really patient and nice to me, and the waitress did not hesitate to check the menu twice with the chef to make sure I had the widest choice as possible.
24 East Essex Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
Very Chrismasth-like atmosphere with decoration and songs. Staff is quite nice and very available. Quantity of food is a bit light as I took the "big" portion of mussels (which only took half the pot) and I was hungry 4h later.
Lumanti of Nepal
88 Rathgar Road, South Dublin, Rathgar, Dublin
Major lowlight for that restaurant is the location. The food is really delicious and service is perfect. Great spot for a romantic meal or with few friends.
Avoca Cafe (Suffolk Street)
Avoca, 11 Suffolk Street, City Centre South, Dublin
Lovely kitch decoration! Food was good with some excellent meals (porridge) and some a bit disappointing (Irish breakfast) but still a nice place to go, especially for brunch. Staff is really busy but always available and smiling.
The Winding Stair Restaurant
40 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin
It was the first time I went there but I had a great time. Location is simply amazing (windows look over the Liffey), decoration/atmosphere manages us to feel cosy and relaxed. Food was really delicious; I had the potato cake, the chocolate brownie and a glass of Sauvignon blanc = it was excellent! I was a bit afraid seeing previous reviews but I will definitely go back for sure.

Milano (Dawson Street)

Nice option if you are looking for an average meal in a nice place. Really like the atmosphere and decoration in jazzy mood. A bit too noisy to be a romantic meal. Better going with some friends.

More suitable for a nice meal with friends than for a romantic-couple dinner.
