I ate here a couple of weeks ago. It was reasonable but certainly not the best thai I have ever had. I had prawn tempura to start which was nice and weeping thaiger dish for main (sirloin steak sauteed in ginger, garlic and carrot). This was served with rice. It was tasty but lacked vegetables. My husband had duck which he didn't like as it was quite fatty...but duck can often be this way. The desserts and coffee were good which is surprising for asian restaurants. The restaurant was very quiet and lacked atmosphere but the staff were friendly and attentive. I would go back but I won't be rushing back....

The Brown Bear
Two Mile House, Naas, Kildare

Went here on Thursday night with 2 friends. Heard it was good from reading a Paulo Tullio review. I had the 3 course value menu for 28 euro, which was rabbit terrine to start, pan-fried halibut form main and creme brulee for dessert. All courses were excellent. My friends also enjoyed their meals although one mentioned that he wasn't completely full after 3 courses and would have liked a bigger portion for main (he had risotto). The al la carte menu is not cheap with most main courses over the 25 euro mark. We had a bottle of chardonnay- the cheapest wine no the list at 22.50. The wine list was very expensive overall. The restaurant was quiet- only 4 tables taken. Would definitely go back but it is a special occassion place rather than the a reasonably priced gastro-pub that I'd hoped for.

Hamptons Grill
Henry Street, Limerick City, Limerick

I ate here on a Christmas party night out. Food was pretty good in general. I had the duck spring rolls and the mushroom ravolini, my husband had the steak (which was tough, even though it was cooked rare), I enjoyed my meal and the service and atmosphere were excellent. I would definitely go back especially if heading out in a large group again

Tenors Grill Room (Naas)
Fairgreen Street, Naas, Kildare

I ate here a couple of weeks ago. There were 7 of use in total dining and the service could not be faulted. The food however was nothing to write home about. I had the garlic mushrooms for starter, prawn satay with rice for main and cheesecake for dessert. All courses were adequate, but lacked great flavor. I could have cooked a better prawn satay myself! The prices are great but as we all discussed at dinner you get what you pay for. Its good for grabbing a cheap bite for a catch up with friends but I wouldn't dine here with my husband as its a noisy and extremely busy place. Its certainly not the best place for a romantic meal for two! I would come here again but more for socializing purposes than the food itself!

The Storehouse Restaurant - Closed
Friary Lane Naas, Naas, Kildare

The storehouse is a fantastic restaurant. I had my wedding here. All 88 guests were very impressed! The excellent staff catered to our every need, nothing was too much of an ask. We had a guinness keg in for the day, a small marquee for drinks reception, and were allowed to supply our own wine with a small corkage fee. The next day I came back to collect a few things and all leftover wine (even if only a glass left in) was corked up and ready for us to take home. The wedding was very reasonably priced, and kicked on late. They accommodated our 5 piece band, made us a french wedding cake and had tasty options for vegetarians and coeliacs. It was a great day and I would highly recommend this restaurant for small groups or a large function!

Il Fico
Dublin Road, Naas, Kildare

I have eaten here twice, both times the food was good. It is fairly standard italian fare with pizza and pasta. The staff are pleasant and the service was good. This restaurant is a very unusual shape- long and thin. the decor it my opinion is too much, strippy wallpaper and lots of different fabrics on the chairs and tables. It makes the rooms seem smaller. the lighting is very dim, so reading the menu was a struggle! I don't mind cosy and romantic but this was a bit extreme! I would go here again but I have been to more authentic italians.

Vie de Chateaux
The Harbour, Naas, Kildare

We had a very enjoyable meal here for my partner's birthday. Food was impeccable. Portions are modest but it means that you can have all 3 courses and not feel over full. Booking in advance is advisable. I booked 2 weeks ahead and could only get the early sitting on a Saturday night. Blackboard specials are expensive but for a special treat you don't mind as much!

Mulberry Restaurant and Wine Bar
Unit 14 Barna Village Centre, Barna, Galway

Went there last night and food was very good. The Calamari was great, really soft and tender. Scallops were nice. Seafood here is fresh and nicely prepared. Will definitely return!
