We booked a Teppanyaki table for 14 people and I have to say it was a great evening. The chef was great and got everyone involved in the cooking. The food was lovely and tasty. But the best thing was the 3 fellas that came over and sang and played the guitar at the end of the meal, got everyone up dancing and singing. The place is great for a girls night, birthday parties etc. Will be back for sure. 14 people with wine all night €50 per person great value :-) Thanks

Visited here on Saturday with a party of 7, we all went for the set menu 2 courses for 25.95, prawns pil pil for startes and they were really nice, had the duck for main and it was melt in the mouth, rest of the table had steaks for mains and the only thing was they were slightly under cooked for what they had asked for, other then that food was fab. Great having an area for a drink before or after dinner. Only thing I would suggest is maybe having a Host/Hostess that is responsible for seating guests and serving drinks in the waiting area.... Great to have you back, and the best of luck with the new restaurant, I'm sure it will be a great success.

Rory's Bistro
Woodford Walk, Clondakin, Co.Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Have eaten here twice since it opened and I have to say I wasn't dissappointed, the place is lovely the menu is great, I had the fish cakes for starters and the "land and sea" on the stone and it was amazing, I'm sure if they keep up the standard this place will do great! The have early bird options on the menu all night so if you go for a starter/main that is an EB option it's €16.90, which is a great price for the food you get. Well done to Rory and the team on a great restaurant something that has been missing from Clondalkin for a very long time. I will be back for sure.

Di Bella Restaurant (Lucan)
Griffeen Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Since this place opened I've said I wanted to go as I really like Italian food. So myself and my husband went early Sunday, place was quiet empty. The girl who was serving us was nice and polite. Was surprised that there was no early bird and we were there about 4pm on a Sunday. We ordered chicken wings and bruchetta, both really nice, but I got the meatballs with spagetti for main which wasnt great, boring tomato sauce on spagetti and meatballs were just dried up lumps of mince. I did say it to the waiter who cleared our plates (as all you got was 2 meatballs and I left 1) but he just said "sorry" My husband had Lasagne and said it was ok, but nothing great. I won't be returning again, if an italian can't get lasagne or meatballs right, I don't think theres a point.

Roly Saul The Restaurant
The Mill House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

I went here last week with 3 others for the early bird menu, I found it was good value with a good variety to choose from. I had the brie for starters, slightly cold but was nice and then I had the chicken for main, the chicken was cooked really well and was really tasty - I didn't have dessert but others did and they say they were nice. It was early on a week day so not many people there, but I was really impressed by the waiter, who had noticed one of the group was pregnant and advised that the filo main was not recommended for her as the cheese was not pasturized, and recommended other options, well impressed. I also liked that when you ordered a glass of wine you got it in a mini carvet so you could pour your own, nice touch. I would recommend this restaurant and will be back.

Himalaya Tandoori
Unit 6, Village Centre, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Went for dinner here with my husband on Friday we booked a table for 6.45 they only open at 6 so the place was really cold. The restaurant is quite big so I'd say it ages awhile for the place to heat up. I do think they need to update the decor, so much could be done to give a more cosy feeling. We had the €18 set menu which was good value, but ordered an extra starter as I wanted to try the butterflied Prawn and it was €6.99 and we got 1 prawn it was nice but not for the price, I wasn't impressed - other then that the food was nice - they had a special on a bottle of cono sur white which was €16 good value as the house special was €19. I would return if I fancied an indian but I wouldn't be rushing back unless the place was made more welcoming, warmer feeling and maybe areas cornered off to make smaller areas instead of 1 large restaurant. The staff were very nice couldn't fault them.

Novo
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin

I visited here with 3 other girls for some lunch, as it was nice we sat outside - did take sometime for someone to notice and bring out some menu's, other then that the food was really nice, I had the "full works burger" came with chips, nice but the best thing is the desserts, I had the lemon cake and it was really good. The price overall is a little high but this is what you would expect for the location of this cafe.

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I visited Fire for a Christmas party with friends so there was 10 of us. The atmosphere was great, even though it was really busy the service was really good, the male host was great and very polite. We all only had Main courses as it was a little late to be eating so much as our table was booked for 9pm - but we had the Prawns / Lamb / Beef and everyone really enjoyed it - we also got a bottle of bubbles to celebrate and some cocktails for desserts, it was a really a great night and I would definitely go back. I do find it a little pricey but well worth it for a little treat every now and again.

Pearl Orient Fusion
6-8 Dutch Village Shopping Centre, Clondalkin, Clondalkin, Dublin

I love this place, the food is great and the services is really good. It never seems busy and I come here quite alot, but I've never had a bad dish or bad service. Going again tomorrow night with Friends and looking forward to it :-) I would recommend this place, especially the King Prawn Hot and Spicy main dish really nice.
